I'm confused about this place is it a taqueria or pizzeria lol certainly it's not Italian owned so it must be a taqueria I would love to try there tacos etc ...but other than that let's get to the pizza review I know pizza I make it and have had every pizza in the city of Chicago lol lets start off by saying the chef does not know how to cook a pizza properly it's doughy and you would ask for it well done to get a little crisp is what people like , the crust is not that bad but cooked improperly , there was hardly any sauce on the pizza you would have to ask for extra in which they would probably charge for it that's a big no no !! Pizza has potential if cooked properly and added ingredients other than that there's a lot more pizza joints in the area they know how to make a pizza with the right amount of ingredients especially sauce which is very very important they missed the mark here ! Great pizza, I especially like the bbq chicken. The BEST. I ordered the sausage pizza, it had a perfectly done crispy crush , I have to say it was perfect. We also ordered the cannoli, i'm not sure if they order it from the bakery or they make it themselves, but I have to say well worth it. This place is underrated. Just finished our meal and I am SATISFIED! My man had the supreme pizza and I had the Poppy Romano. I requested extra garlic & saucy and they did not disappoint. The Poppy Romano is a homemade Alfredo sauce with fresh mushrooms and fresh spinach over fettuccine. Extra sauce was per my request and they had no problem fulfilling it without a surcharge. Very generous of them. It came with soup and garlic bread. The soup I chose was their homemade minestrone...a must try with fresh veggies. Everything arrived piping hot and delicious. I will be sure to leave a cash tip next time! Cannot wait to try their other dishes. Support local small restaurants people...they need our help with all this government overreach trying to kill small businesses. I used to go here back in the early 2000's for hang outs with my buddies. Not sure who introduced me to this place but I remember liking their stuffed pizza. It was tasty. This was a hole in the wall type joint. We mainly went for late night hang outs as the restaurant was open late. That was a while ago. Since then the ownership has been changed twice from what I remember. Some of buddies still go there to hang out. For me, it had been a long while. So recently, I met up with my buddies again at this restaurant. The looks of this place had changed. It has been remodeled (the main entrance area) . The dining area looked more spacious. Although, I don't think they remodeled the dining area. Maybe just a seating area rearrangement? As per usual, my buddies ordered their stuffed pizza. In the past, they got it with garlic and sausage but this time it was cheese with fresh garlic on the side and a side of jalapeños. The pizza was baked well and was nice but not as nice as before (in the past). The pizza sauce was lacking some flavor. It could have used some salt and sugar. I still enjoyed the pizza though. Their menu has changed too compared to before. Before, they had pizza, burger, and pasta as their major menu items. Now it's pizza and Mexican food like tacos, burritos and so on. This is a good place for low key hang outs while having some pizza or tacos and so on. Check it out. read more

Some businesses get business during normal operating hours. Then there are other businesses that only get it because they're open far later than their competitors. This (I believe) is that. On this stretch of Milwaukee there are a couple places to grab slices from depending on time. I've passed this one before and every time I thought.. naw. Except the other night I thought.. I could use a slice and I don't want to travel any further. "Yuckaroo with a case of dia-poo-poo." Walked in late, maybe 1:30 / 2 am to grab a slice. The bars across the street were thumping with people spilling out onto the street. Sunday night before Labor Day and people were getting their holiday jammin' on. On this side of the street it was quiet. With busy bars across the street, you'd imagine that at least a few bar patrons would be in here. Not the case. And that should have been a warning but I pushed on. Inside there were a few "road-crew" looking guys that were sitting around. Maybe waiting for food. No one looked thrilled or happy, they had their "whatever" faces on. I grabbed two slices (1 sausage, 1 cheese) and left. Thin crust pizza, nothing special or memorable. I didn't finish a slice. A few bites in I wondered why I even got it. Not tasty. The second slice was thrown into the fridge. A few hours later my stomach woke me up like "WTF!" It hurt and continued to do so all damn day. I couldn't keep anything in. Day long dia-poo-poo is not fun when you've got lawn projects.. Needless to say, the second slice found its way into the trash. Looking at other reviews, I'm guessing their best stuff is found in what's produced fresh. Looking at photos, their stuffed looks pretty standard. But my stomach cannot undergo a dia-poo-poo round two. That's my two cents.. read more

Seriously just skip this spot. Ordered a gyros. Its not real gyros meat. Its like deli sliced gyro flavored junk. Couldn't even eat it it was so bad. That alone puts them on the no-go list for me. Pizza was subpar. Edible, but far from anything special. To top it off, we both ended up sick about an hour after eating and have both been nauseous all day today, after ordering them last night. read more

Ordered some pizza with some friends last night, pizza showed up two hours late and cold. Even after calling multiple times to get updates in where our food was. When we called and complained and asked if we can drop the pizza back off and get the refund the Woman on the phone, who we know is the owner, told us to stop calling and blocked our phone number. We proceeded to call from another phone and the same woman told us to never order from there again. Worst business practice ever and will be telling people to stay away from this place. Wish I could give 0 stars. Had an absolutely disrespectful delivery driver mess up our order, so we called the restaurant to try to work it out and get our food. Delivery driver and restaurant tried to get us to pack up the food we had already opened and touched in the process of realizing that it wasn't our food and give it back to them(delivery driver insinuated that he was going to give it to the correct people so he didn't have to pay for it, even though we touched it). The items we were given were similar to ours but not exactly correct. So, we packed up the food and gave it back to the driver, who then yelled at us for not having it in a bag, which was ripped from us opening it (since we thought it was our food). Then, the driver proceeded to leave napkins, sauces, utensils and one of the boxes of food in our front yard(pictures attached). What an absolute trainwreck way to handle a mistake on the behalf of the restaurant, and way to blame loyal customers who have ordered from you for years for your drivers mistake. I had ordered delivery from Chikago Pizza 4 times and everybody in my family loves it! The other day me and my family wanted to go out for pizza instead of ordering in and I called them and asked if they had a dining room and how big it was. The person on the phone described the dining room but I asked him to text me a pic and he did! We arrived and the place is pretty decent with plenty of seating. We've been ordering chicago's for about 15 years! No more! I wouldn't recommend either. the only reason why would be lack of customer service. again, we've been ordering their food for years and not only once a while more like 4 times a week! This is what happened. We ordered two pizzas for delivery. Was told it was only going to take a hour. TWO hours ( 20 min) Later still no food! WE ONLY LIVE 15 min away from this place. We called about 5 times! each time they gave us a BS excuse. Then we finally get the pizza! Being 2 hours later the pizza was cold/soggy from the bottom from sitting so long! So we call the restaurant (who's also the owners wife) btw says the manager isn't there. 1) you own the place? 2) we offered to bring it back to exchange for a new one. all hell broke lose. they BLOCKED MY NUMBER. so i called from a new phone. they were upset i got another phone and told us to stop calling and that we were never allowed to order again?? They really didn't want to give us a refund. I called chase to request my money back cause this place is not worth fighting with! after 15 years and ordering 4 times a week this really pissed me off cause i've worked in customer service my whole life this is not how you handle a situation. When it comes to Pizza in this area of the city there are a ton of great choices and I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. I have a number of favorites and I tend to order a certain type of topping from each place. Chikago Pizzaria is my Sausage and Pepperoni place to go. Their crust, cheese and sauce compliment the sausage and the pep just great. Of all the places in the area this one I tag as a Guys pizza joint. If I've got the guys over for a sporting event or card game then I default to Chikago and I have a number of picky friends and yet they all enjoy this pizza. Goes great with a cold beer and the Bears on TV. Though the Bears can give you indigestion sometimes. read more

I've ordered from here twice and both times it was bad. I can't even remember what I had the first time but the second time it was a Gyros plate. Do. Not. Order. The. Gyros. Entirely too similar too Steakums brand sliced meat. Awful, rubbery, gross. I can't help thinking that it's the same thing you get at Jewel in the Take Me, Make Me type in the coolers. False advertising. On three occasions they have served me different than demonstrated on their wall menu and have tried to weasel out of providing it. Examples: 1. One of the dinner plates shows lettuce and tomato on the side. My dish did not have any. I asked for some on the side, as advertised. They informed me that "oh because we put it in the burrito, that's why it's not in the side." Uh-huh. This happened on two separate occasions and both times after asking for it they provided it. Shifty, but whatever the food is good and they made it right, so I kept going. 2. Their hot burrito is pictured with a dollop of guac and sour cream on top of the burrito. My burrito did not have said dollops. When I asked for them they told me "Oh it's an extra charge. The menu is wrong, we have to update it." No apologies for not letting me know when I ordered it, and the audacity to ask for more money. I don't appreciate being advertised one thing and delivered another *on purpose*. It's insulting as a customer. I live nearby and have visited often. Never again. And i'm pretty sure bait and switch is rather illegal. read more

Fair price and open late! I can't say the absolute BEST pizza in Chicago but definitely some of the best pizza on the northwest side for the price. If you are in the area, its worth a TRY! A generous amount of sauce and cheese, their pizza is always consistent and delicious. Reliability is key! I would also recommend their BBQ beef sandwich but stay away from the aju sauce, a tad too salty. Cant forget their special offer...after saving 15 receipts, you get a FREE pizza. Everyone has their favorite neighborhood pizza place, and this is mine. It's good pizza. Not amazing, but excellent local Pizza. The plain cheese thin crust pie isn't greasy or have an inordinant amount of herbs or other weirdness in the sauce. The crust is crisp around the edge, warm and chewy in the middle. It's a very solid pizza. But what's really nice is the stuffed crust, something very poorly done at a lot of places in chicago(Giordano's, I'm looking at you) despite chicago's reputation for excellent deep dish pizza. The sauce on the stuffed crust is bright red, not dark red or (ugh) reddish brown without too many seasonings, but enough to take the tang out of the tomato. The crust is crisp and chewy, and thick enough to accomodate the ingredients, so that you don't end up with an insane drippy mess(again, Giordano's I'm looking at you). In fact, that's another huge plus about this place; the pizza is good cold and reheats fairly well. Take my advice, don't get the other stuff on the menu; it's fairly uninspired. It's a pizza place, go and get a pizza. If you live out this way, Call in, stop by and pick up a pie. You won't regret it. And you'll come back. read more
