I've been ordering pizza from the Odessa Pizza World location for the past two years, since it…read morefirst opened. During that time, I've seen several changes in management and staff. My family has ordered from this location approximately 20 times, including as recently as July 28, 2026, and until now I had never experienced a problem with any employee. On August 1, 2026, at around 5:00 p.m., I called to order two large pizzas. Each time I called, I received a recording saying they were busy making pizzas for other customers. I continued trying to call for the next 50 minutes and got the same recording every time. We were on our way to a friend's house where 10 hungry children were waiting for dinner, so I didn't have time to keep calling. I decided to drive to the store to find out what was going on. When I arrived, I observed four employees wearing black gloves. I did not see any of them changing their gloves after handling money or cell phones, and they continued preparing pizza dough after touching what appeared to be contaminated surfaces and materials. That was very concerning from a food safety standpoint. I was then told that I was "blocked" from ordering Pizza World because I had allegedly thrown a paper coupon at an employee on February 26, 2026. This accusation made no sense, considering I had successfully ordered from this same location just one week earlier, as well as many other times since the alleged incident. The event they described simply never happened. What was even more upsetting was the way the current manager handled the situation. She accused me of something that never occurred, creating a scene in front of my two young children. Her behavior was rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and simply stated that she was the manager and that we "didn't have to go there." That response only reinforced my impression of her lack of professionalism and customer service. As long as this manager is employed at this location, my family will never return. Being falsely accused and publicly embarrassed in front of my children was an awful experience. It is disappointing that a company would allow a manager to treat loyal customers this way. After two years of supporting this location, this is certainly not how I expected to be treated.

It just so happened we picked this restaurant because we had one near where we live in Flower Mound TX! Told the waitress that and she went and told the manager about us and our story. She came back ,and confirmed they were one of the same, although ours here in TX had changed names several years earlier. We ordered 3 slices, 1 cheese and 2 Johnny's Deluxe. We asked for the cheese to be cut in half, which they did. It came out first. When she brought out the other 2 pieces, my hubby and I said WOW at the same time! They were huge!! Loaded with toppings. It was so good! I couldn't eat all of my second pice, so no doggy bags to the airport, hubby kindly finished it off for me. TBH, I think the cheese piece was my fave. I ordered the Mediterranean pizza, and it arrived overly oily with a soggy bottom crust. It was inedible. When I called the restaurant, I was told they couldn't issue a refund and that I needed to contact Uber Eats instead. After going through unnecessary hoops with Uber Eats, and having to dispose of the pizza, I finally received a refund. Sadly, this experience has convinced me not to return to ABC Pizza or use Uber Eats again. Need pizza, cocktails and a side order of groovy? They have it all here!…read more I was out running errands and craving pizza. Suddenly pizza WAS the errand-and I was happy to learn (thanks, Yelp) there was a Mellow in the WC. It's right across SR 56 from the Prime Outlets. It has the same far out/outta sight vibe you'd expect with Melliw... sort "HR Puffenstuff" if you're a 70s/80s kid. This one has a moodier color palette inside-but the same laid back/happy go lucky attitude. There's a giant (I mean huge) stuffed owl up in the corner (just watching, not judging). I can dig it. It also has the same bright and fun menu, with creative pizzas (or build your own), wings, calzones, starters and salads... and a full bar with cocktail options (I was all about the lemon drop on this trip) (small glass-great blend!) It's a big restaurant with a cozy feel-lots of parking-good ac. My server knew the menu well. The small pepperoni pie and big Greek salad were excellent-and I like their takeout containers. Mellow is always good-I like knowing that going in-and now this location will join Brandon's in my regular rotation. Owl (!) bet you love this place as much as I do!
