I had really high hopes for this place but was disappointed. Could just be me but I did not care for them. Service wise they are great! Very kind and helped with different options as this was our first time here. We ended up purchasing a pizza, vodka pasta and they threw in some garlic knots. None of it was bad by any means, just not the flavors I was expecting. The garlic knots were the best part to be honest. Good flavor and soaking butter. The pizza was ok but they go with a very sweet pizza sauces. Little too much for my liking. The vodka pasta had very little flavor. Just tasted like very generic bland sauce from the store. Now my wife place the order so not sure if that's what it was or not but there was no vodka in this dish if that's what it was supposed to be. Maybe it was an off day so I'm not going to rule out going back or trying again. Outside of that this place looks like a pizza Italian restaurant. Fitting decor and theme. Some seating area inside but plenty of parking for Togo orders. Maybe next time? read more

First off the customer service was 5/5 stars. Whoever (young lady)-March 4 around 6 to 7 pm was amazing and so friendly! We need more workers just like her. Wish I would have gotten her name! She was fantastic. Food: the pizza sauce definitely sweet (a bit too sweet), the pizza looked pretty but was just okay. The garlic knots stole the show, very good. The vodka pasta again was just okay. Nothing special, definitely was missing something, like texture or something. Overall, this is a cute lil pizza shop if you are in the area. And it only got worse... the owner tried to blame it on me saying the tomatoes were ripe when they were still white. Yelled at me on the phone saying "have you watched the news" " listen to me" Showed up in person to express my concern after being berated from the telephone tough guy hoping for a better response and only more of the same saying I was the problem. Great pizza spot located in the corner of shopping center on lutz lake fern. There is also a publix and asian restaurant wok n roll in here! This is a staple for me that I eat at once a week. Their pizza is tasty with a variety of different pies. My favorite is their philly Cheesesteaks which has a special sauce onions peppers and lettuce. Visited Capri Pizza & Pasta last night for the first time. The place is very busy, mostly call-in orders. The staff is very nice and the place is clean. The tables and chairs could use an update but that's not big deal to me. We ordered 2 pizzas and everyone in my family enjoyed them. They are similar to NY Style but a little doughier. The flavor is really good and they were cooked perfectly. Today we went ahead and made our 2nd trip there as we had some pizza leftover so we ordered a lasagna and some garlic knots for a quick lunch. Again, our family enjoyed it. Italian / pizza is a good category where I find many are pickier than over food categories, but I feel Capri Pizza & Pasta checks the box and is very reasonable pricing wise. Tried eating the sandwich, but it was absolutely disgusting. No flavor, and soggy. I ordered stuffed shells for myself, and was extremely disappointed. The pasta wasn't cooked all the way, and the sauce was very watery and bland. We also ordered the fried mushrooms, which were inedible as well. Fried in too low of temperature, and completely flavorless. Lastly, dessert. How can anyone screw up a slice of cake, right? Well, leave it to this place. The cake was dry, and tasted old. We ended up having to eat cereal for dinner. I will never eat at, or recommend this place ever again. I tried reaching out to the restaurant itself, but they didn't care. I used to be a regular at Capri but the last five times I have gone, their service has been terrible. Pizzas are wrong, orders they say will take 30 minutes are well over an hour. Food is cold. Their response is "here take your money back" which does no good when you placed and order, loaded up the kids, drove there, and waited in line for 20 minutes just to be told.. get a refund.
