I didn't have very high expectations for this place but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the pizza. Maybe that's a reflection on the general state of the pizza business in Garner, but this place is now one of our favorites. First off, the most important part: The sauce is good (tangy, not sweet) and the dough is good (thin, but not too crispy). You can't have a good pizza without good sauce and good dough (which is, unfortunately, why so many local places have mediocre pizza; their sauce is too sweet and their dough is too bready). I've always found the service to be fine, so maybe the manager has gotten the place shaped up since getting some bad reviews. If anything, I sometimes feel slightly rushed if I'm ordering multiple pizzas to go, but that's a *very* minor complaint. The line doesn't move as fast as it does at Subway, but even when the line is almost out the door, it's still not any slower than going to a regular pizza place because the pies cook so quickly. The topping selection is great, including two of my particular favorites (meatballs and Genoa salami). I love being able to get fresh mozzarella or ricotta cheese on my pizza, and the "as many toppings as you want" system is perfect, as far as I'm concerned. If I'm ordering four or five toppings on a small pizza, I don't want a ton of each topping. The pizza would fall apart and be inedible without a knife and fork if you put too many toppings on it. Instead, you get the flavor selection you want in good proportions. Being able to add any toppings you want makes it a no-brainer to add extra ingredients that you'd never pay $2 extra for at a regular pizza place (e.g. black olives, in my case). All in all, a great addition to the food available in the White Oak area. read more

This place is a dirty hole in the wall. There were seven people working. They got my order wrong three times. The manager insisted that I didn't pay and once I took out my phone to pull up my bank account then she backed down is said 0h there it is. I see it. I was very clear about what I was ordering but was treated as though I was an idiot. They were sign saying that you need to wear a mask however not one person in there had one on except for the customers. I didn't appreciate their attitude. I definitely will never go back. read more

Ive never had issues with eating at this place however my last two visits were "interesting " after ordering my pizza i asked for a large drink. I took the cup filled it with juice and then thats when i noticed the cup was DIRTY. I took the cup back to the register and told the young man the cup was dirty . He says ok well thats the last size of that cup. I say ok well just refund me.after that transaction was completed he hands me the dirty cup and ask if i still want it. Now why would i want a dirty cup back. Today when i went I observed multiple pizza toppings being mixed in with other toppings and even the white sauce had splashes of red sauce in it. After 10 minutes they still hadn't even started yet with the first people in line despite several employees running around I'm guessing doing call in orders and ignoring the guests there. On top of that the air conditioning wasn't on, making it uncomfortable. We left after not ordering and will not be back. This place is fast delivering a great and awesome dining experience. Stopped in here randomly for lunch and was blown away. When you step up to the counter you choose what type of pizza you want. They build the pizza right in front of you and you can pick everything that goes into the pizza. Once it is completed they throw it in the grill and within a few minutes it's ready to eat. After hearing a lot about their holly spring location we decided to give Blaze Pizza a try. It is a chain restaurant that is inspired by the fast-casual food trend. This chain is modeled after Chipotle, so you definitely get the feeling of that kind of style (which isn't a bad thing). You can choose from some of their signature pizzas or create your own. They make the pizza super fast right in front of you and put it into the oven. The whole process takes maybe five minutes. If you are like me, take a look at the menu online before going in because they definitely try and get you through the line as fast as possible. The pizzas we got were awesome. Per request of family I was eating with, this was my first experience with Blaze Pizza. We went at 5:30 pm on Sunday 5/21/23, which probably was not the best time to eat at a made to order personal pizza place. The line was long & the number of orders coming in for Doordashers to pick up were probably as long, if not longer. It did take about 30 minutes to get through the line, but the staff was great. Everyone was hustling & all but the employee working the register & handing out the pizza had a good attitude. We were eating in & it was obvious that the entire staff was dedicated to the pizza prep because the tables really needed to be cleaned & the drink area was also needing attention. The pizza I ordered: original crust with pepperoni, mushroom, light mozzarella & added grated cheese had a wonderful flavor (flame oven)! In times when it's hard to get good service, this place wasn't slacking, was handling the crowd the best they could & prepared a pizza that was worth the wait. Will definitely go back! read more

Let me just say...this staff blew ALL of my natural mind! Yesterday was National "PI" Day, so all of the pizzas were $3.14, this staff DID NOT MISS A BEAT! They were truly professional! The line moved so quickly, they never ran out of any ingredients! This tells me that the management team was well prepared with both staffing and food to make sure all guests were happy! My pizza tasted great, and on top of all of that, the restaurant always remained extremely clean, the lids and napkins, and straws were fully stocked. They even had someone walking around with a Bright smile on her face, cleaning the table and asking if she could refresh drinks and take trash! I was truly wowed! I'm local to Blaze and definitely excited to have more fast casual places in the Garner/Clayton area. Blaze is good... Decent value (about $8 for pizza, and you should have leftovers) and great selection of toppings. They are like Moe's for pizza... You order at the beginning and then tell them what you want on your as you move down the line. I LOVE that all toppings are the same price... I like lots of veggies on mine and don't think I should have to pay $1 for a few slices of banana peppers! The pizzas are thin crust, fast cooked in a wood oven, there were some consistency issues with ours despite the fact that they use a dough punch machine. The staff was friendly, everything was good, it was just nothing to scream about. My husband and i both agreed that we'd rather pay more for Mellow Mushroom quality, but this definitely blows away your typical chain pizza joints. Due to our location and lack of choices, though, we will definitely eat there fairly regularly. $16 for two pizzas to feed the family is even less than cheap delivery. read more

We haven't been able to get away from this place since it opened in Garner. It works essentially like a pizza Chipotle, where you go down the line heaping on as many toppings as you like. The secret to this place is the crust. They found a crust that cooks perfectly in just three minutes, so its done by the time you pay, fill your drink and wash your hands. All the ingredients seem to be high quality and the employees are clearly instructed to be generous with them. I suppose the price of a build-your-own (with unlimited ingredients) is a pretty standard 7.85 but I typically get a 1 topping pizza for 6.50. I recommend everyone get the spicy red sauce. I will be honest, I am one of those people who do not care for pizza. I have one place in Garner that do from time to time but that is it. Blaze is different. It is fantastic!
