Don't go here gave me this bullshit ass food and call it pizza.

They throw this slop together and call it pizza. rude workers rushed me out the door because it closed at 10 even though it was only 9:23pm. already cleaning out on clothes then moved dirty wet rag and didn't change gloves to touch my food absolutely terrible what the fuck is that in the picture.

Build your own high rise. Pepperoni, Italian sausage, meatballs, bacon, and mozzarella.

My fiancé and I stopped in for a quick bite. He ordered the high rise build your own pizza. He picked pepperoni, Italian sausage, meatballs, bacon, and mozzarella cheese. I ordered the original build your own pizza. I picked feta, goat cheese, Gonzola cheese, fresh mozzarella cheese, red onions, roasted garlic, chicken, and baby spinach. We also ordered cheese sticks. Tony was absolutely AMAZING!!! Tony gave us the best personalized experience by far of any other establishments! We'll definitely be back!

PIZZA!!!!! Who doesn't love pizza, the good part about this place is you can build your own pizza or go with their speciality pizzas. Prices range from 12 to 25 depending on size and toppings. I spent around 15 which included a build Your own pizza and coke bottle. It's located on a busy area so you can sit down and have a nice view. Customer service was great and the food was ready within mins. Will be back Ps reason for 4 stars is the toppings! (Did not seem fresh), red pizza sauce bland

It was my first time coming here and I can say I was impressed. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was the scenery and the big oven that cooks the pizza in front of you. The customer service was speedy and nice. I ended up getting the build your own. Regular dough, spicy red marinara, Italian sausage, pepperoni, and jalapeño, plus a regular fountain drink and everything came out to roughly $15.

The young man taking our order was less than thrilled to be working. Then when he gave us the thin crust but we wanted the thick, he was really irritated. I'm thankful we didn't have to deal with him for very long. We ordered half cheese for the granddaughter and I got 1/2 red vine which was delicious. I ate my full half and the granddaughter ate all but a half slice. They do not provide any plates but I suppose we were supposed to use the carry out boxes for utensils. We sat at a dirty table as that was all that was available. The gal working the register and cooking the pizza was the most energetic and friendly of the three employees I saw. One could have been cleaning the dining area. If it were kept up on tables being wiped and a clue what to eat the pizza on it would have been better

My husband and I love this place especially in the summer! Choosing our own toppings on a 11inch is probably our go-to. The workers will help with any questions and have always been quick to help with any questions or recommendations for toppings! My favorite part of this location is the seating options. There are booths, high top tables, and outside seating! Such a fun place with music playing that always is a good vibe. We are such big fans of Blaze Pizza and definitely choose this as a regular date spot

I was really wanting to love Blaze. We had wood fired pizza over the weekend and were all REALLY feelin it again. What a disaster... Luckily we ordered online (so it would be ready to eat there when we arrived) since we were short on time. I went to the counter to order a fountain soda and water cup. Another customer and I sat there for at least 5 minutes while workers continually walked past us, not even looking at us. Finally we got someone's attention and we both just got water cups since it was clear nobody would be helping us anytime soon. The picture actually look super good so maybe I would have enjoyed it more had it been correct? My kids cheese pizza was "decent" she said. YES. They were busy. And YES 99.9% of the time I am extra patient knowing that everyone is short staffed. But... this was insane and honestly felt like we were being punked. By the time I got back to the table to finally start eating, I found that my pizza was not quite what I ordered. It had a TON of pesto on it and I really don't like pesto. I wanted chicken on just half and it was on the whole thing. The tomatoes were barely warm (like they put them on midway through cooking or something....). Based on how long it took to get water cups, I didn't bother attempting to get it remade. GF crust was just ok... nothing special. My kiddo went up to get a cookie while I was eating and was completely ignored at the register like I was. She decided to jump in line behind the one customer ordering pizza. 10 minutes later, she was rudely told "that girl will help you over there" and pointed at the register. So back to the register she went. At this point, I finally walked up there and told her I'd get the dang cookie. I only waited a couple minutes before asking if someone could PLEASE help me. Literally all they did was take pre-made cookies, pop them into bags and set them at the front of the oven to warm. When the guy handed the bags to me, he had been handling roasted broccoli (w/olive oil) so the bags had olive oil and bits of broccoli on them. I felt terrible for the poor man that was in front of the oven, prepping pizzas, running the cash register, etc etc. I counted at least 5 employees yet when there wasn't a customer in line, they all disappeared except for the one man who was just trying to stay afloat. At one point, we saw him ask a female to assist him finally (WHY did he have to ask???). She seemed really put out by his request to do her job. She also was nearly groping another coworker who seemed to hate his job. Finally, because we spent so much time simply waiting for water cups and for someone to notice us long enough to pay for a cookie... parking cost us $5. You get a half an hour for free which should have been MORE than enough time. All in all, I spent almost $50 for a pizza that I barely touched, a kids cheese pizza, a cookie and parking. Complete disappointment and not an experience I'm interested in repeating.

I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life - it's probably one of my favorite junk foods and in Des Moines we just didn't have that great of pizza selection - and a lot of it was super expensive. Now we have blaze and I must say this is the best pizza for your dollar. Blaze has fresh ingredients at a very reasonable price. I like that I can get as much as I want and different types of ingredients (GOAT CHEESE FTW!) and I know it's going to be good and fast. Their salads sometimes can be hit and miss in terms of freshness but it's not a big deal. This location is nice - it's in a complex on the outskirts of down town right behind the science center. It's easy to get to but be for-warned it's behind paid gates for parking. You can get your ticket marked at the blaze desk and you get a free hour (maybe two?) but just make sure to do that otherwise you have to pay to leave.

Pizza is pretty good, just make sure they don't leave your pizza in the oven way too long and burn it and have to make you a new one.

Luckily for us, this time it showed up fresh and hot! This review focuses on Truman's food quality, as experienced through a delivery order. My wife Kim is a pizza fanatic, so we're always trying new spots! She ordered a garlic cheese bread which was fantastic and came delivered with dipping sauce. This could easily serve as a meal on its own! The main event was the Mahome's pizza. It was a bit messy - with random chunks of topping not evenly distributed and obviously just thrown together (this wasn't a delivery issue, but how it was prepared by Truman's). Regardless, as this is a minor complaint, the pizza was delicious. I enjoyed all of the toppings with the exception of the hamburger; it was just unspiced, browned hamburger. I find it odd to put something with no flavor on a pizza. The pizza sauce saved the day as it's amazing and has a ton of flavor. Then there was the crust - it was thin, but not too thin. It had those cool bubbles and somehow managed to be perfectly chewy and crispy at the same time! (Sounds impossible, but it really was). While I'll definitely prefer to go and eat at Truman's in person next time, the delivery itself was surprisingly good considering the distance they had to travel. I hope Kim tipped well! We look forward to visiting the restaurant in person soon!

They also have soups and salads, and Chinese food entrees like Beef and Broccoli, Stir-Fry Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, and Chili Garlic Shrimp. It was fresh and hot. It was also so good. I have never had a pizza like that before. It was very flavorful and tasty. Lol I took at look at their menu online and it's not a big menu... Build your own 7-Stone crust (thick) and artisan crust (thin) along with six different specialty pizzas. Big into appetizers? Don't plan on it here. They have cheesebread and side salads. They offer a couple different items for lunch specials (Wednesday - Friday 11am to 2pm)...toasted hoagies and a half pizza combo. It's order and pay at the counter. Pepsi self serve fountain drinks. Plates, utensils, napkins, and pizza spatulas are beside the fountain drink station. Parmesan and red pepper are on the tables. Seat yourself. The seating is a combination of booths and low top tables and chairs. There's a small counter with seating as well. The business itself is in a strip so there is lots of parking available. There was one gal behind the counter taking orders as well as cooking and serving pizzas. Two younger ladies came in a bit later, but it was hard to tell if they were actual staff or daughters there to hang out with their mom (or maybe both). Staff was friendly enough. Our party ordered: 1x large House7 on 7-Stone crust 1x large buffalo chicken on artisan crust 2x small pepperoni pizzas on artisan crust 1x large cheesebread 1x side salad 7x fountain drinks It was a short wait for everything to get cooked and served. The thicker 7 Stone crust takes about 20 min. The artisan...probably half that. The 7 Stone crust vaguely reminds me of when Pizza Hut still cooked in cast iron. The toasted crust with cheese burnt like little vertical stalagmite (that's the cave formations that form from the floor up)... That was something neat to see. I haven't had a crust like that in a long time. The artisan crust is thinner of course, but perfect for folding. You like a little char? This gives you that in some bubbling aound the edges, but the bottom of the pizza crust is not burnt. I really enjoyed the buffalo chicken pizza! I'm not sure what it was but for me there was something off about the red sauce... It wasn't "bad" but just tasted off. At first I thought it might be a residual taste from the black olives from the House7, but the red sauce on the pepperoni pizzas had the same taste. Maybe it was the plum tomatos they use v. roma or another more traditional variety? Bang for the buck... To me it seemed a little pricey. $22 for a small cheese pizza on 7-Stone. $20 for a small cheese on artisan. $33 for a large specialty on 7-Stone. $31 for a large speciality pizza on artisan. But that might just be me... The company was buying for the two of us today so... The cost is sort of irrelevant outside of mentioning the noted pricing in general. When the company is buying I really don't care. But I'm kind of glad they were paying for it... Lol But no one walked away hungry that's for sure...! And the leftovers I took home will get eaten as long as it warms up anywhere near the same (follow up edit: it did). This is a tough one for me... It's kind of like Gusto. I had a ton of friends who loved the place. I just never cared for it. And there was no particular reason... Is this some place I would return to? Maybe if invited again... But while it's not exactly my favorite... You might love it! Definitely worth checking out! https://www.7stonepizzeria.com/

You also get complimentary fresh bread and the portions are quite generous! My only feedback on service is that we were asked about dessert while still eating dinner, which felt a bit rushed. The ricotta gnocchi has a lot of flavor and is clearly made with fresh ingredients. I also recommend trying the vegan sausage. We created our own pizza and added it, and the fake meat had a unique flavor with the same emphasis on freshness. The best appetizer is the portobello mushroom fries. The sauces they come with are so delicious and really make the dish. For dessert, we had the pistachio tiramisu. It was very good, but I would not call it a traditional tiramisu. It tasted more like a crème brûlée style lemon mascarpone with pistachios. Still really good, just different than expected. Overall, this is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants around and well worth visiting with a more formal, date night vibe.
