An enjoyable meal! It is very good for a chain. The ingredients and freshness were fine but that's mostly what holds them back from me giving them a 5. A pro about this place is that the pizza was cooked so well! Perfect amount of crunch for me while it maintained a good structure but had a little bit of flop. The ambiance was really good. Inside is really nice but it was so nice out so we had to take advantage of their quaint little patio! Waiter was friendly as well. Vibes top notch.

    Sad little salad

Ordered a small pizza and salad. Salad was pitiful , looks wilted . And no dressing! Pizza had a very small smattering of sausage.... Very poor excuse for a meal.

We stopped in last evening around 7 pm hoping to grab a couple of slices but discovered they are only available for a lunch special. We returned again today at 3:30 pm. Between lunch and dinner hours, we had our choice of seating and chose a booth which gave us a Birds Eye view of the restaurant. Red checked tablecloths and Frank Sinatra music contributed to the atmosphere. Now for the food. We split a small Caesar salad and the small size was plenty big enough to split. Not overly dressed with crisp Romaine lettuce. Since we hadn't eaten lunch (and we like different toppings on our pizza) we each ordered a 12 inch build your own. The toppings tend to be pricey so your cost can add up quickly, however, the topping amount was generous. The crust was thin and spot on but did get a little soggy as time went on. We had a switch in servers mid-meal; didn't get the name of our first one but after Jacob took over, he made sure to tell us of the switch. I was almost finished with my iced tea and thinking I'd like a refill when Jacob appeared with another before I could ask which was impressive! This is not a budget pizza meal but the food was good and we would return!

We had Grimaldi's in New York a few years ago, so we had high expectations for this one. We were not disappointed! It was classy, but not too much. Very nice set up of the restaurant and we sat on the bar side and it was comfortable! Able to watch all of our favorite football games and enjoy amazing food! Pizza and antipasto was delicious and fresh! Service was kind and attentive! If you want a great pizza and not break the bank, you will want to give Grimaldi's a chance! We'll be back for sure!

We went on a Saturday night so it was busy. We were seated pretty much right away but then it took a while for anyone to take our drink and appetizer order. We weren't in a rush so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. The checkered table clothes gave it an old pizza parlour vibe which was cool. We ordered the antipasto as an appetizer and it was good. The bread was soft and fresh and plate came with big slices of mozzarella. We ordered two pizzas- the Brooklyn bridge, show in the picture, and the BBQ chicken. Is it the best pizza I've ever had, no, but it was very good. Crust is very thin and a little chewy. The tomato sauce was definitely fresh which was great because I think the sauce can make or break a pizza. It was light but flavourful and filing. The BBQ chicken was also very good. The fact that the pizzas are cooked in a wood fired helped the smoky BBQ taste I think. It didn't quite taste like your typical BBQ pizza with store bought Sauce, it had a slightly elevated flavour. We also got some of the hot honey to try. I have had a few hot honeys but this one was extra hot. Very hot in its own but added a nice flavour complex when drizzled on the pizza. All in all I would recommend if you are looking for a nice place to grab a slice.

This was an awesome gesture on their part and a great excuse for me to join a military veteran for lunch and thank him for his service. Given the free meal for him...that drove my Value rating to 5*, which enabled a very rare 5* rating overall! As with every meal at Firebirds, we were also treated to the fresh out of the oven loaf of dinner bread that is oh, so good with butter melted into it! Today I enjoyed Fish Tacos (see picture) and boy, were they delicious! Based on the weigh-in the following morning, the salt content might have been part of the reason for the great flavor...but it was worth it.

Seasoning has varied from so salty it wasn't edible today from no flavors at all on NYE. The ambiance is terrible. I have never seen worse lighting; if you're having a date, there's a Seinfeld episode involving bad lighting, and that's how you're going to look. Zero thought to sounds. Open kitchen. No attempt at all to minimize or dampen dining room noise. Third time was a charm, I won't be returning, and I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

We were there on a Sunday so I suspect a lot of other people were taking advantage of the Sunday dinner for two like we were. We were greeted when we came in the door and the service from the time we entered until the time we left was outstanding. As we are celebrating our anniversary, our table was decorated for that which was a nice touch. We looked over the very extensive menus and did settle back in on the $99 dinner for two. In theory it is smaller portions than some of their other dishes, but there was more than enough food there for the two of us. We got the filet mignon, which was wonderfully prepared and an outstanding cut of meat. We got the 50-50 potatoes, and asked later what the 50-50 meant and discovered it's 50% potato and 50% butter and cream. They are delicious but decadent! We also got the asparagus which was very good. It had a wonderful sauce, and was tender and flavorful. We also each got the wedge salad which was almost a meal in itself. And we each got the carrot cake for dessert. We had to bring a lot of the carrot cake home because we were quite topped off at that point. The carrot cake is a slightly different twist than some, but very good nonetheless. The wine list is very good and prices are what you would expect at an establishment of this type. All in all, I would definitely go back and try some other things. If you're into oysters, they have quite a selection of those, but that's not really my jam.

The food was the real standout. The fish was cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, tender inside--and the sauces were rich without being heavy. You could tell care went into every layer of the dish, from the seasoning to the presentation. Nothing felt rushed or overdone. Cocktails were just as impressive. Well-balanced, strong without being overwhelming, and honestly one of the better old fashioneds I've had in a while. It's the kind of drink you slow down for. Service was attentive without hovering, and the atmosphere hit that sweet spot between upscale and comfortable. This is the kind of place you come for a date night, a celebration, or just because you want a really solid meal done right. Definitely coming back.

There was only maybe three other parties when we arrived; and we were the last to leave. It was pretty quiet, but we didn't feel intimidated by the atmosphere. We weren't loud and obnoxious but we WERE celebrating and having a great time with family! Hallie was on it and AMAZING! She made sure we didn't have to ask for any refills and was readily available for our next request! She even brought a celebratory carrot cake for my son ... and it was DELICIOUS! EVERYTHING was ON POINT! With nine of us, there was a lot of food but not a ton of leftovers; which was a good thing. Seven of us head home tomorrow; the other two get to reap the benefits of those leftovers since they live about 10 minutes away! All the steaks were cooked to perfection and exactly as requested. My daughter and I shared a Lobster Mac/Cheese and Ceasar Salad and still had leftovers. A nice surprise was the Chocolate Lovers Delight coffee. I'm a "cream in my coffee" girl -- but this coffee definitely was tasty even without!! I've never had chocolate black coffee and it was DELICIOUS!! Can't leave without a bathroom check: immaculate! I was seated immediately at the bar, which was fine, but from there the experience just unraveled. The bartender seemed scattered and overwhelmed despite the lack of guests. He mentioned he'd "check on Parmesan and bread" multiple times, but neither ever arrived. I ordered a spaghetti bolognese, an Old Fashioned, and a water. The food itself was fine -- nothing spectacular, but not bad either. The bigger issue was the service and overall atmosphere. There was no presence, no attentiveness, and no sense that anyone was managing the room. At one point I was just sitting there waiting for the check with no sign of the bartender. For a Saturday night, it felt strangely lifeless. It's disappointing because the space has potential. But service and vibe matter just as much as the food -- and right now, both are missing.
