Great, quick option for a light snack (if you share amongst two people). Halfway through the outlet shopping day on a crowded and hot August weekend, we needed a quick refuel. We had reached the halfway point at the Desert Hills outlet and saw Blaze Pizza. It looked crowded but we walked in anyways. They have some signature pies with set toppings that you can order, but why go there when for just $8 total, you can have all and all kinds of toppings your heart desires. BF and I split one pizza with customized toppings like sauteed onions, sausage, grilled chicken, crumbled meatballs and pesto drizzle,and it was more than enough to fuel us for the rest of the afternoon and night. The line moves along and your pizza comes out in 5-8 minutes, pipping hot, cooked, and yummy. Since it was the outlets, seating gets croweded and the tables are not moveable. Very friendly employees who help answer questions you may have about your pizza and toppings and who keep the line moving. Kudos for keeping composure even if it is the lunch rush (and weekend lunch rush at that!). Great, inexpensive, and quick place to grab a bite. I parked at the nearby supercharger and speedwalked to blaze. It was a bit of a walk, but was necessary since I was gonna eat pizza, haha! There's nothing better than eating pizza while shopping at the Cabazon outlet! It's across from the Information Center. This is one of the best Blaze pizza stores that I've been to. Their service is top notch from beginning to end. Their workers move the line quickly and constantly come by to see if you need anything. They even went table to table asking if we left our credit card at the counter (which my mother-in-law did hehe) and checked her driver's license before giving the card back. Reasonable prices but they did raise the price a few months ago; fast service despite how busy they get; and love the unlimited toppings! Also love their thin crust and fire wood flavor. I was at the outlet with my family and all of us were starving. I had relatives from Michigan with me and they are very familiar with the name "Blaze Pizza". They raved about it, and how much they love eating it in michigan, so we decided to go in. I have never personally been, so I was really excited. This place was packed. Evert table was taken and the place was a decent size for being inside of a mall. I guess we had just come in during the right time because there was only one person in front of us in the line. We were greeted immediately and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They have 8 signature pizzas and you can always build your own. They have salads too but that didnt sound appetizing at the time. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza (as is) and built our own meat pizza. They were both delicious! The thin crust and sauces were perfection. The flavors were perfect and matched well with the rest of the toppings. We arrived just before 7pm on a weekday to buy a couple pizzas while shopping. Note - they close at 8pm on weekdays. We were "greeted" by Savannah S who was immediately mean and rude and clearly didn't want us to be there. The looks we got and the tone we received was unacceptable customer service. The entire staff was cleaning up as if they were closing in 15 mins. Again...it was an hour before they should be closing. Savannah made us uncomfortable and if she wasn't making our food...my wife and I would have called her out on her rude looks and behavior. Not one please or thank you from Savannah and my wife said she never wants to eat here ever again after this experience. At what point does staff bully a customer for dining somewhere? Clearly your staff (specifically Savannah) needs to realize how/why they have a job. No customers...no job. BTW-we were very polite throughout hoping that the service would improve as we showed kindness. No such luck. Also, the two "simple pie" pizzas we received...were supposed to be the same but one looked they way to should and the other one looked like a hot mess...with every little cheese and sauce. I'm very unhappy with our visit today to the Blaze Pizza at the Cabazon outlet mall. The garlic knots tasted really bad and had no flavor. We were upset that we ordered them and didn't even finish eating them. The red sauce that came with them also didn't taste good. The main reason for the negative review was the extremely rude employee that gave us a hard time and made our visit unenjoyable. He was not nice and unprofessional. The pizza was ok, but I'm unhappy that it also cost more than it normally does at all other locations. I'm used to a build your own pizza for $9 or so and this location was $11 or so. Overall, I won't return to Blaze pizza in cabazon. Also the restaurant itself isn't as nice as the ones in Palm Springs or Palm Desert. read more

I just started shouting out stuff for them to put on my pizza, not really thinking about how it's going to taste once I get the finished product. I was somehow under the impression that these make-your-own-pizza places required you to use your own hands to do so. Not the case. You stand in front of a sneeze guard and order like you would at Subway, then they pop your pizza into an oven for like 3 minutes and it pops out perfectly cooked. That might not sound like rocket science but the result is pretty darn great. I haven't been to the other places that use the same business model. I haven't been to any other Blaze locations. But I can say that this one was solid. The people working there were great, too. My date and I each designed a half of a pizza and we absolutely loaded it up, so the process took longer than usual, and the employees (pizza artists?) putting them together were patient and generous. Both times. It's right in the middle of the outlet mall, perfectly placed as a remedy to shopping hunger or horror. read more
