One think I didn't like about this location, they took the labels for the ingredients off, so you have to guess or ask the employee what it is, if your not savvy enough. I like the build your own and add ingredients from there. I don't like the short staffed when I arrive but by the time my "build your own" is ready sometimes it's burnt on the end of the pizza. This is the second time I have complained about This location about being stingy with their toppings. I ordered a pizza and I had to tell the kid to give me more cheese then he only gave me a little of my meat toppings and I got two toppings and it didn't even cover the whole pizza! Jeez! I was ordering two pizzas and didn't notice how he didn't put enough meat on my pizza, then when they cooked it the meat shrunk and there was even less on it. We pay for these pizza's and they can't even give you a good amount of toppings. Absolutely terrible experience. I waited for about 10 mins with literally no one in front of me. The 2 workers did not even acknowledge me, they just kept making the mobile orders. Once there were about 5-7 people behind me, and a 3rd employee came out they STILL did not acknowledge anyone or convey any sort of communication around the long wait... the two girls kept building the pizzas literally did nothing... one of them kept pulling mobile tickets and the other took everyone in lines name without actually building a pizza. All in all it took longer than 30 mins, when mind you no one was in front of me when I arrived. Lowkey still gonna come back though the pizza is great. Seriously, so so disappointed in their service. We ordered $100+ worth of food (3 pizzas, 2 half and half's, 1 cheesy garlic bread no cheese, 2 large fountain sodas) and my experience went from good to horrible. I really hope this was a one-off and if you try this location, I hope you get better service than this. Shoutout to the woman who initially tried to save us some money by sharing their $45 deal they had going on, but it didn't apply with our order unfortunately. We started sharing our orders and confirmed that the 3 staff members helping us, were all on the same page. When compiling the pizzas, we had the bare minimum like the last spoons of marinara, didn't restock a certain cheese, last of the pesto garlic sauce, etc. The creation of the garlic bread with no cheese was basically, 90% bread/crust and 10% garlic all in the middle and not spread out throughout the whole thing. When we got our stuff, we confirmed with the staff that we have our whole order. My cousin even went into the store again before we left the parking lot and no one said anything about the sitting cheesy garlic bread. We end up reaching home (we live like 20+ min) and we had one of the cheesy garlic bread as part of the half and half, missing. We call them (I was super chill because I've been in customer service and retail so I know it's tough) and they confirmed that they see it sitting here on the counter. I was surprised to hear how unapologetic they were and they didn't offer a refund for the missing item. My cousin ended up going there again, only to find out once she got home, THERE WAS NO GARLIC ON THE CHEESY GARLIC BREAD. I like stopping by this location for a quick dinner. The staff is friendly and greets you as you walk in. This location typically has a lot of online orders, but my pizza is usually ready within 15-20 minutes. The inside is spacious, and there's usually room to dine in. I believe they also give a 10% discount to students or a free drink with any purchase. I normally get a build your own pizza with a cauliflower crust. I like their spicy red sauce and the ovalini cheese. I usually add all the veggies, pepperoni, and sausage. I love their fire roasted broccoli. I also like to ask for the pizza to be crispy. Takeout pizza in Azusa, California... I had a $5 off coupon for Blaze Pizza and wanted to use it because we don't have Blaze Pizza in Hawaii! This location is relatively close to the Costco Gasoline Station and opens at 10:30am... it was my breakfast since it was the first thing I ate that day! The free parking was much appreciated. I walked into the quiet, air-conditioned, spacious environment and scanned the menu. I had to decide what toppings I wanted. I just went for colorful: yellow banana peppers, red pepperoni, and green bell peppers. There was a choice of sauce - I selected Classic Red, which had a slight kick to it. I also had to pick the cheese. As the shredded mozzarella was being distributed over the sauce, I thought: wow... that's a good amount! However... I noticed that the gal who was creating my pizza had long hair, which brushed over the top of the cheese. I dismissed it... thinking that the heat from the oven will cure all... LOL! I tried to eat my pizza in the car, but it was too temperature hot. When I got to my destination, I really enjoyed the crispy, thin crust! Yum! I came in to try it for the1st time on Thursday 10/23 around 6:30pm there was a young girl preparing the pizzas who yelled at me. It took me by surprise so I asked her if she was having a bad day and she yelled back saying I can't hear you in a sarcastic tone. I didn't come to a business to be yelled at so I left, I minute later I came back and asked to speak to the supervisor to let her/him know about disrespectful attitude, I asked an older lady if she was the supervisor and she pointed to the young girl tossing the pizzas at the oven. She said she was in charge at that time but didn't have any information about the supervisor or contact information. Owner: I hope you read this review and correct this behavior. Allow me to suggest you train your employees to communicate with customers with respect, patience and courtesy. I strongly doubt I'll give this place a 2nd chance after this awful experience. Perhaps, this is an isolated incident or perhaps it's the daily routine when there is no supposed well-trained supervisor overlooking the business. Consistently great choose-your-own-pizza at Blaze in Azuza. I just love the concept of Blaze Pizza, where for the same price, you can choose as many toppings as you want, and have the pizza made while you wait. It's like it was made for me...but always had the sinking feeling that they couldn't make money doing it and would close soon after. Luckily for me, Blaze is still going strong many years after its founding. I try to give it as much business as possible. We came around lunch time, and there was no wait. You get into a Subway/Chipotle like assembly line and walk with the pizza artist as you pick your ingredients. Once complete, you pay, and then find a seat. The pizza is put into a 600+ degree oven which cooks it really fast..and the pizza is ready for you to eat in under 10 minutes. Once then, you self-bus....and they do a nice job of having to-go containers handy. The pizzas are easily enough to satisfy one really hungry person, or two to share. My wife ordered the 2-top pizza ($9.95) with bacon and pepperoni (they were out of the grilled chicken). I got a build-your-own ($12.25) and put a lot: fresh mozza balls, red onion, fresh mushrooms, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, artichoke leaves, green pepper, pineapple, basil. My recommendation is ALWAYS get the fresh mozzarella balls (along with the shredded low moisture mozza)...it provides the creaminess that doesn't exist in most other fast food pizzas. This location had a great selection of tap beer, for a reasonable price of $6 and it went great with the pizza. I chose Fat Tire, but they ran out mid-pour, so got a Corona on top of that for no additional charge. Ice cold on a hot day, couldn't ask for more than that. read more

My friends and I went to Blaze Pizza, 824 Alosta Ave. Azusa, CA 91702 on Sunday 8/6/23, and were disgusted and disappointed at what we saw. One of the workers was eating on the table next to us, after her shift, and she had her shoes on top of the table, which is very nasty and inappropriate. Not only that the shoes on the table are inappropriate, but it is very hot in this summer heat, about 98 degrees, and the restaurant air conditioning was not working properly, so it was about 80 degrees inside the restaurant. We called it out to one of the workers, and they told her something, and she went outside, and she did the same on the table outside. She later came back inside and slammed her shoes on top of the table again, with a defiant attitude. My friend asked her if she worked there, and she was very rude and told him, "what does it matter, I don't want to talk to you." Never again will we be back at this restaurant!! None of the workers seeme to care that she was being so inappropriate and rude. read more
