I'd have gone with another restaurant, except that I had already ditched one place for ineffective ordering app. Everything else was terrific: the pizza was ready early, the phone ordering went well, and the quality and price were both pleasant surprises. Only one size of pizza, I believe there is a choice of crust. Upscale for a fast-food pizza place. You could do worse. Heaven knows, I have done worse many times. When this restaurant first opened, it was amazing, however things have changed and I would not recommend to my friend, my casual acquaintance, or even my Frenemy to come here. The tables were filthy, the noise was extremely loud, pizza pan slamming on the counter, kids loudly screaming and chasing each other around, tables cleaned off by customers however still left with crumbs and never kept up clean by the staff. The staff, whom I once remember as being very warm and welcoming, seemed rushed, irritated, and unhappy to be working there. I noticed a level of uncleanliness that would not pass inspection if inspectors had been here. Ladles were used between many different sauces, cheese was wiped off and the same gloved hand was used to use different vegetables. One pizza was cooked with the metal pizza weight on top of it. To top it off, I was charged for two pizzas when I had only ordered one. When I let the cashier know about this mistake, he was genuinely angry. I think this restaurant was wonderful at one time, and it certainly has the potential to be wonderful again. The concept is a very good one. Pizza, pizza and pizza!!! I love me some pizza. Blaze does it right. We came here for an event and had a great experience. I did the choose your own toppings pizza. First of all I love the spicy sauce. It's so good. The crust is perfect. Kinda thin but not to. It was cooked to perfection. I took it easy on the toppings. Mozzarella, Pepperoni, spicy sauce, red onion, mushrooms and kalamata olives. Next time I'm loading it up with more tasty things. The staff is friendly and they did a great job making my pizza. The pizza comes out really fast and baked great. They have the best drinks too. The lemonade is great. And they have other great drinks. 512 on tap is always a great thing plus other beers on tap and in bottles. We will be back. Great experience. Gotta try some of there salads next time. read more

This place sucks. You try to call the store and it's a 3rd party answering service who forwards to the store. Nobody answers the phone at the store so you end up on hold for 5-10 minutes then transferred to a dead voice mail and then you are hung up on. Zero customer service. The 3rd party company tells you to get on the Blaze Pizza website and go to "contact us" but that link doesn't work either. I hope this place goes bankrupt soon since they can't even make a pizza right. They were out of ingredients then still tried to substitute ingredients I didn't want to not cancel the order. Fantastic pizza and service. Isaac did right by me when the Doordash driver stole my pizza. He made another pizza in record time. It was great. I had to pick it up but it was the right decision. Anxious to try other things on their menu. Just moved to Texas and they are the first pizza place I tried. Good choice. Our favorite fast fired custom pizza place in Austin. I love the custom choices, especially the unique Art Lover Signature Pizza. My 10 year old son loves his pepperoni pizza especially made with little cheese and great amount of pepperoni and sprinkled with oregano and sea salt. We all love the service and the atmosphere here. The folks here never disappoint and we have been coming here weekly for over 2 years. Even bought many gift cards for my son's teachers here as well. This place is a great concept and flow. I love the offerings because they are subway style custom ordered pizzas. I tried the new keto pizza. It was my reason for going there. It is the first chainnntinorwsent such and it wass I've was over priced. It was smaller is size than the flour base. The flavor profile was bland and bitter. I figured adding ssalt would have helped but it was over powered by the recipe off the keto crust. It didn't retain heat nor did it cheww similar to traditional pizza. It may be a good substitute if you can Tolerate it but don't think it is a replacement all together. The service is amazing and the toppings taste very fresh. Quick wait time. I was really looking forward to have a Blaze pizza! However, had my experience and totally bummed but dont think ill be going back. I ordered a lunch pizza, build your own... no meat pizza so veggie toppings should be plentiful... it was not. Goat cheese- very little! Out of arugula, but was not made aware of this until I took my car... then took pizza back in to ask for my arugula i added to the top! I get being out of things.... But every store has arugula on the shelves...so why don't you? Then the worst part... the balsamic glaze DRIZZLE! Really yummy HOWEVER, this is a final topper... was Poured all over the pizza.... This restaurant has a keto crust which we wanted to give it a try. Since they were personal pizzas we got the regular crust which is delicious by the way it's baked to perfection! A great way to get decent, fast pizza. Located off the 183 frontage road, just south of Home Depot. Lines can be long, but they move quickly. Unless noted, you can add all the toppings you want to their "build your own" pizza. Ingredients are good and fresh at Blaze. These are thinner, personal sized pizzas, so a few may be needed to feed a family greater than two people. The interior is friendly and cozy, with high ceilings so you don't feel cramped. My kids love coming to Blaze and picking out their toppings, even if it is the same toppings all the time. The pizza is decent, the crust is thin. We've been coming here since they opened years ago. Tonight, I ran in to grab an order I placed online, drove back home and found a burnt pizza. Burnt on top, burnt on bottom. Obviously someone had to have looked at the pizza while they were putting it in the box?? Why would they think someone wanted to eat a burnt pizza?? In this area, there are three choices for individual, create your own topping pizza restaurants: Pieology, MOD, and Blaze. Blaze is my favorite by far. Their salads are fresh and inviting. But pizza is the main thing. I eat there every Wednesday and always look forward to it. The crust is thin like I prefer, and you have the choice to get a one, two, or an unlimited topping pizza at different price points, which is a nice option. The pizza is the perfect size for a hungry dude like me, and the sauce gives the pizza an old school, new york style flavor. The rewards system on the app is another big plus! After seeing many things on social media about Blaze Pizza, I was really excited to find out that one opened up in Austin! The drive was a little out of the way for me, but totally worth it. My friend and I went during lunch and it wasn't too busy. I have been to many pizza places similar to the style of Blaze where you pick your own toppings, and Blaze is my favorite so far. I got the red vine and white top pizzas since there was a BOGO promotion going on. Both were really delicious. They gave me an option to get the spicy red marinara sauce and I did not regret it at all. Although each pizza had a set of toppings that was included, I was still able to customize each pie to my liking. I highly recommend getting arugula on top! Each pie was finished in the wood fire oven, and actually didn't take that long to cook. We only waited a few minutes after paying. Blaze has my favorite crust in terms of the competition. It's a thin crust that has a bite to it. Also the toppings didn't fall off once you pick a slice like some of the other places I have been to. If you're not a soda fan like me, they have other options like agua fresca and lemonade. That's always a plus. The service was great. One of our coupons wasn't working, but the cashier let us use it anyways. In addition, they had some staff checking up on each customer and making sure everything was alright. DO NOT order online from this place!! This is usually our go-to pizza place. We mostly go to the store and place our order and it's almost always perfect! But for the last 2 times we tried ordering online and picking it up. The first time the order took way too long even though we had ordered it online, got there at the right time and ended up waiting at the restaurant for almost 20 min. The second time was the worst! They also have already designed pizzas, if the toppings are too overwhelming for you. The crust is the thin crust variety. It's light and has a slight crunch to it. It is great and very tasty. They also have a gluten free options for those that are interested. The best thing was my pizza was prepared, cooked, and boxed up in 5 minutes flat. That is some awesome pizza service right there. I very much enjoyed the pizza and had nothing left over afterwards because I am a pizza piggy. Oink! I would give this place a solid 3.5 stars but the staff here totally pushes them to a 4 star rating. The staff is super friendly, especially when they can tell it's your first time. The guy working the counter when I first visited could tell I was new and slightly confused, especially since I was at the wrong end of the counter trying to order, so he took me under his wing and showed me the light. He walked me through everything and was describing each step with the greatest of detail. He spoke about the pizza as if it was his first born child! His descriptions made you want the pizza right that second. He totally made the experience amazing. My pizzas were works of art created by this guy. Yummy. They also have a special dessert here. I usually do not compare restaurants in reviews but it is hard to visit Blaze Fast Fire'd and Mod Pizza without comparing the two. Blaze is indeed fast and service is super friendly. One of the 5 employees even mentioned how much fun he has making pizzas and clearly enjoyed being there. Similar to Mod Pizza, Blaze Fast Fire'd has a set price for pizza (except for their simple cheese pizza with one topping which is less expensive), lists their nutritional information and you can watch your build to order pizza made right in front of you. I like Blaze's crispy crust more than Mod Pizza's crust but I wish Blaze offered smaller pizza option like Mod Pizza offers. Here is what I love and/or like about Blaze: - They list the nutritional information for their pizzas and delicious salads - Have a grab-n-go salad selection - Serve some local Texas beers to include Black Star Coop, 512 and Guns & Oil - Have a wine on tap - Sell Pellegrino (I love my bubbly waters) - Quick and friendly service - Both sweetened and unsweetened tea - Lists calorie information on the menu - Patio seating What would make me like them more: - Smaller pizza offerings - Offer plates when people are sharing pizza(s) We ordered the Red Vine and a glass of red wine.
