Pizza is life - forreals. I've had the pleasure of trying Blaze Pizza before when I lived in California (SF location). I must say, this location.. in terms of ingredients, customer service, and beverages offered, is far better than the SF location. What impressed me the most was the crust and dough they used. Perfect texture! Not too thin or too thick. Other customized pizza places I've been to, their crust ends up being too thin and it tastes like I'm eating crackers with toppings. I was warmly greeted by the workers as I made my way down the assembly line with hearts in my eyes. My pizza consisted of red sauce, shredded mozzarella, Italian sausage, turkey meatballs, jalapeño, pineapple, roasted peppers, and crushed garlic. DEEEEELICIOUS! My new Yelp Elite friends put oregano on theirs and highly recommended it. Will put oregano on it next time! I was impressed with the variety of cheeses and meats they offered too. Oh so much for no sugar this week... totally failed that challenge after I had a sip of the blood orange lemonade. I couldn't just have one cup! Truly the nectar of the gods. I usually only give positive reviews, but this place has inspired a truly negative one. We ordered two pizzas, one with artichoke hearts and marinara, and one with white sauce, arugula and bacon. I would be surprised if the large pizza with artichoke hearts had even a 1/8 of a typical quartered heart on it. It was an absolute joke. This was the only topping other than cheese, so it wasn't like there was a lot of toppings to make up for it. The pizza that was supposed to have white sauce had almost none. It was incredibly dry. We also ordered drinks, which we don't ordinarily do, but the online menu had some tempting and unusual choices like blood orange lemonade and a basil agua fresca. When we arrived to pick up, we found out, after getting our drink cups, that all they have is regular fountain drinks. We would NOT have ordered drinks had we known. There is no dine in, and they are limiting the number of people in at 3. DON'T waste your money! read more

Poor service, we've been here many times. Love the pizza. But the workers here aren't into it. Seems like a lack of care around the board. My girlfriend and I were given the wrong pizzas and we drove home with them. There were only a couple other people in the restaurant at the time. When we got home we realized we didn't get the right pizza so we had to drive 25 minutes back and then another 25 minutes home. When we got back to blaze they didn't apologize for the pizza and didn't make eye contact when I mentioned that the pizza was wrong. They had left the pizza they had originally made for us on top of the oven and gave it to us cold. They didn't offer us any sort of remake on the pizza, or a refund or any sympathy. They acted like it didn't matter that it happened and it felt like they didn't care at all about us as customers even though we come in every week. - received a great response from management and I've given it another chance. I have eaten many of pizza being from new york. I have to say its not in any means a traditional new york slice but damn it, its amazing. The service, the manger and more importantly the staff are caring. This was amazing service. My food was ready promptly. The mango aqua fresca and their lemonades are thirst quinching. Their portions are perfect, the dough is light/airy and the taste of the ingredients truly have a great flavor. Its simple but thats what makes it good. The options are vast and the build your pizza option is very appealing to me. Simple food great service and to make things better they serve beer. You cant go wrong. Last night, a friend of mine and I had planned to go out to eat then play at Main Event. Well, we got super lazy and decided to grab pizza and just binge watch some shows on Netflix. She recommended that I try this place and they did not disappoint! It looked fairly busy for a Saturday evening so the food must be good! And thankfully the line moved pretty fast. I opted to build my own pizza (definitely the way to go). I chose the regular pizza sauce with mozzarella, Parmesan, grilled chicken, smoked ham, cherry tomatoes, red onions, pineapple, a sprinkle of oregano, and after it was cooked I got some BBQ sauce on top. I also decided to get one of their chocolate chip cookies since they were big and looked so chewy! The food came out fast and it wasn't long until we were headed back to her place and chow down. We get to her apartment, start the next episode of 'How to Get Away With Murder', and enjoyed our fresh thin crust artisan pizzas. I must say I picked a very tantalizing combination, I loved it! All the ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful. And I must note, the personal size doesn't look very big but it definitely filled me up! I almost forgot I had a chocolate chip cookie waiting for me! Experience - I came in around 3pm and as soon as I walk in the door I am greeted by an employee. As soon as I get to the front the young lady asked if I was new and I told her I was and she explained how the menu works. Very pleasant girl. Another gentleman then builds my pizza in front of me and intermittently asks if my pizza looks good. I take a seat and as soon as my pizza is done they call out my name. As I am eating the manager comes to check on me. I finish my food, clean my place and then I'm out. Ambience - this place has a very fight the system decor going on. Lots of free your mind and break the chains. Right on dude! Cowabunga! The restaurant is painted in warm orange and red colors. Open kitchen and the brick oven is right out front so you can see your food. Menu - The menu is pretty average for a new gen pizzeria. They have about 10 pre designed pizzas but the main attraction is the build your own. They have a very decent selection of cheeses, sauces, meats and vegetables and spices to add. The cool part is you can have unlimited toppings for only 7.95. That's awesome, granted if you put everything on there I can't imagine how that would taste. Less is best sometimes. But the fact that all the toppings are equal in value is nice. They also have a varied lemonade beverage choice and teas if you don't want soda. Food - So all the pizzas are personal pizzas with whatever toppings you want on a thin crust pizza in a brick oven. I made mine with Italian sausage, pepperoni, red and green peppers, onions, and 3 kinds if cheese. Because you can have as much cheese as you want. Woot woot! Bring on the blockage. The pizza I made was excellent. There is something about the ratio of bread, sauce, and toppings that worked very well. There wasn't an over saucing which some times happens and all you taste is sauce and bread. The toppings I had were very fresh. I loved the peppers and the Italian sausage was my favorite part. I think I had an excellent ratio of ingredients. Overall the pizza was actually really good because there wasn't an overabundance of bread or sauce. I also got a side Caesar salad and unfortunately it wasnt very good, it had a lot of brown pieces and a lot of spine pieces. Service - I give this place a 5 star on service, granted I was the only person, I was greeted, talked to, helped and checked on. I normaly come to place on the mid and there is normally always a kid at the front on his phone who doesn't acknowledge me till I walk up to the register and stare at them so much they become uncomfortable and finally look. Hey dude! Anyways, the crew was very helpful, the young lady greeted right away, explained the menu and was just pleasant. My favorite part thou was the, I'm assuming was the manager by his shirt and demeanor. This guy was way over the top and way into his job. He reminded me of those super in your face infomercial guys. It is kind of hard to explain but this guy loves his job or is either extremely sarcastic fake work personality. BAM! How's your pizza! He was a very animated guy and it was great.....not to mention funny. So yeah overall the service was better than most. OVERALL - The price of a personal pizza with unlimited toppings for $8.00. Yeah that's a deal for me. The side salad was $4.00 and was honestly the only bad part of my trip. It was mostly brown and the bad pieces of iceberg. Not worth $4. But that is situational so could be better next time. I spent less $20 with a 25% tip and it was worth it. If you want to try a great build your own pizza place, stop by. I'm actually still very impressed that I got an awesome personal pizza for $8. It is well worth it. So if you wanna break the chains man and free your mind from the normal pizza places then give this place a stop. read more

He would cry over eating spicy jalapenos on his pizza, I love them. So Blaze is a wonderful option for varying tastes. Employees are so nice here. I wanted to love it. I like the concept, I like the setup and I like that it is gluten-free. The pizza was just ok. It has it's own taste and differs from the Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc types. I think it actually tasted better when I warmed up what was leftover the next day. The day of, the crust seem to be a bit soggy. A big added bonus is the kids can each get their own pizza, designed the way they want it and I can have mine the way I want it. No arguing. Everyone is happy. There are plenty of different toppings to chose from and you can also pick a seasoned crust if that is what you prefer. They bake it in this fire oven and you can stand back and watch. I think the total bake time is 5 minutes. They also have salads. The place was clean. The staff is more than willing to explain to you how it works if you are first time visitor. read more

We were there on 10/16/21 around 1:40-2pm. The employees in general behave as if they are being forced to work there. We already ordered a pizza to dine-in and the lady(lets call her lady1) who prepared our pizza was very terse. We just ignored it assuming she must be having a bad day. The pizza tasted good, so we got in line again to get one more to go. Now the second lady with orange hair comes in to take our order. We politely request her to change her gloves as we wanted a vegetarian pizza and we saw her making a meat pizza just before our turn. She walked off without acknowledging us but did change her gloves. She then proceeds to take our order, write it down on the piece of paper and just walked off and started folding pizza boxes. She didn't even say someone else will take over the order! Then lady1 comes back and she asks us what our order was. We repeat the entire order even though it was already written down. And we ask lady1 as well to change her gloves. She didn't say anything but the orange hair lady who now had her back to us glanced towards her and shook her head. I mean what the hell is that supposed to mean? We pointed that out to their supervisor who said he was sorry about that and will speak to her, but she just walked over behind him, muttered something under her breath and walked off again. This entire scene gave an impression that none of them either have any previous experience in the food service industry or just do not belong there. We heard a lot of good things about Blaze pizza so gave it a shot, but won't be coming back. Will stick to Mod Pizza where we always have experienced a courteous and polite staff. read more

While here for a YELP event (a different review as that focuses on the event), I tried for the first time a Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza. This is an assembly line pizza place where you can go for specials or build your own. The crust is a thin crust. I chose the build your own as I was going for an old school type of pizza without a bunch of fru fru. I chose the classic red sauce, Italian sausage, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni and mushrooms. It was made in a flash and out in a flash. Around the corner of the counter is a hallway where the fountain drinks were located as well as knifes, forks and napkins. As I started to grab some tea, I noted there was a dispenser of blood orange lemonade. That was delicious! The pizza came out pronto, my name was called out and I was handed my pizza. Bottom line it was good. Even though I usually prefer a simple pizza so I can taste the crust. Next visit I will be trying a few different items, but still not building a cheese monster that masks all the other flavors that is tempting to do, but as a Margarita, Napolitano Style is my favorite, simple is good for me. read more
