She said the manager was not there, to call back another time I had an issue with one of their pizzas two years ago. Called, spoke with Bree. She looked at my receipt and confirmed the ingredients. She told me to call back for the manager. I called several days in a row. Finally reached the manager who said I did not order a pizza from them. Said there was no receipt. I had also left a request for a call on their app. Never heard from them. Will never order from them again. I see they have good reviews. I used to go to this Blaze often before COVID. A few years ago was the first time I'd gone back. This is the second time. They may make good pizza but the management is awful. read more

Bathroom Absolutely Disgusting. The bathroom at this Blaze Pizza is filthy. The floor is covered in nastiness and it clearly hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The people working here were clearly busy, but service and ambiance worked out. I got a Carnivore (consisting of red sauce, pepperoni, ham, and a balsamic drizzle) with vegan cheese, goat cheese, and Italian sausage instead of meatballs, finished off with oregano. The lemonade was very lemony but still enjoyable. The pie had a slight crisp to it, and all the flavors worked out. Adding the goat cheese gave it an extra salt concentrate, and the balsamic drizzle gave it a slight sweetness. Overall, this is the place for speedy pizza. read more

BURNT! I came on Pi Day when they have $3.14, so I expected it to be busy. However, half the pizzas coming out of the oven were burnt. Not even a little burnt, pretty hecking burnt! I could only eat the crust on 2.5 slices out of 6. Putting aside the burnt aspect, the pizza itself was just okay. I stopped by to try a couple of the signature pizzas. I had a BOGO coupon. It is a fun process to watch from the dough being formed through the creation of the pie by the pizza makers behind the counter. We had the meat red sauce pie and a white sauce pie. I thought the toppings were standard for signature pies but turns out one can add and/or subtract toppings as one moves through the line. The oven time was quick maybe around 5 minutes. The restaurant was half full and quiet as people happily ate their pie. We took ours to go. Enjoyed both sauces and toppings. Thought the crust was a bit thin and not as crisp as it should be. Definitely not hearty like nearby pizza shops or flatbread pizzas I've had. It does have a niche for the interactive process and multiple toppings one can see, add, and engage with the preparer. It maybe surprising for a fast food spot but this is some of the best pizza I've had. I get the gluten free crust which comes out thin and crispy. It's only $3 more then the regular and it comes out great. My favorite thing about blaze is that I can build my own pizza and all the toppings are still just one low price. No nickel and diming for cheese and meats. First off, I'm one of those people who loves lots of different things and I love all of those things on my pizza. I get over 10 toppings and the hot oven still cooks it crispy to where I'm not trying to eat pizza soup. They have fresh herbs, roasted garlic, peppers, and all you other favorite classics. Pizza ranks right up there as one of my favorite things to eat. The problem is so many places sell so many things that they call pizza but really shouldn't. Just because it's round and has a tomato flavored red sauce on it with a make believe cheese does not make it a pizza. This place figured that out, clearly, and ran with the idea in the right direction. Fresh made crust of your choosing, add a fresh sauce that suits your taste, then start pilling on toppings and get ready to over indulge. Your creation is gently loaded into the fire breathing oven and just as carefully removed a few minutes later and, voila! A beautiful pizza experience waiting to embrace your taste buds and hug your stomach with pizza love. I'm both grateful and sad that this place is three hours from home. I'd spend too much and eat too much if it was closer. We stopped in for a quick lunch while heading through Asheville on the interstate and almost passed on this place because it was more than a mile off the highway. So glad we didn't and you will be also. It's only a few extra minutes drive but so worth the time. Highly recommend you swing by Blaze and see why they keep getting such great reviews. This is where my teens always want to get pizza. We all love the BYO pizza set-up. We also love the drink selections. There is something for everyone here. We have always had a good experience with the staff. The only "negative" is that we have often had to clean our tables and chairs before sitting down...it's a hopping place, so it may be hard to clean in between guests, but we all appreciate a clean place to eat! Another reason we love this place is because of their community involvement. We have attended many "fundraising" evenings where a portion of the proceeds go to local charities. read more

You might want to reconsider before coming here. We've been coming here for many years since they opened and I have to say this is the worst experience. The staff is poorly trained, and as slow as Christmas. It literally took us 20 minutes to get through six people to be able to order our pizza because of how slow the workers work. Whoever is staffing this place does not know how to staff and they put the slowest people on the line. they have one person working in the middle of the line that goes so slow. The others can do six pizzas around her one and the poor customer is sitting there, watching people pass them in line because of how slow she is. Our whole family enjoyed our dinner at Blaze Pizza. It's perfect for our family since everyone has different pizza preferences. My 6 yer old son loves being able to see the ingredients and choose them visually. We appreciate so much that they hosted our school's fundraiser and donated a percentage to help us build new classrooms. Veritas Christian Academy is grateful! My s/o took me here for lunch because I had never been and we wanted something a little different. He had been here a few times before and really enjoyed it. I didn't really know what to expect walking in there So it's kind of like the Subway of Pizza, if you will...You can choose from some of their popular pizzas and/or salads or you can BYO. They had three different crusts to choose from if I recall correctly and a whole bunch of toppings. One of the deals they do is a half salad, half pizza. I tried that with the green pizza and caesar salad. It took a while to order since the lady in front of me had several orders that she was reading off text messages. It seems there was a party with children that was not thought out. But it put the staff in a bad way from the start since they just opened and did not seem prepared. The staff seemed very unhappy, not working on the same level. I think the manager yelled at two of them in the back while we were waiting and one came out looking super angry. They were all a little flustered. Anyway, I ordered and paid for our food and went to see what my drink selections were. I was quite impressed with the selections. They had real sugar drinks, lemonades and agua frescas along with tea and other sodas. That was pretty cool. We found a booth, it was dirty. Like the restaurant had not been properly cleaned last night or this morning. There was cheese and food smears on the seat. We cleaned it, fine. It was just more off-putting because it was the second day it happened to me, although the first time was a different restaurant. We got our salads and enjoyed them while waiting for our names to be called out when our pizzas were ready. My s/o brought my pizza to me and it was missing the pesto. He brought it back and she added it and I was thinking it was missing something else..Oh yeah, the arugula. So I brought it back and the manager lady apologized and said the staff didn't label my pizza so she wasn't sure what it was. The pizza itself was good. But it seemed unorganized and an unpleasant place to work. They had a pizza party it looked like which was planned ahead of time, outside. That might have been part of their frustration. So I grabbed lunch here for the first time with two of my coworkers and it was pretty rocking. Think of it as a Chipotle for pizza. There is an assembly line and you start on one end with your pizza dough. Then you move down the line and you can put what you want on your pizza. When you get to the end they put it in the oven, you pay and then they call your name when it's ready. We all three got different pizzas and they were all really good. I was also really impressed by the quality and amount of pizza you get for only $8sih dollars. It's really a solid deal. The environment is a bit noisy and it was hard to hear the employees when they were asking me questions about my pizza. But besides that I really don't have any complaints. Horrible service. Male teenager claims to be a manager Sunday night, after waiting without complaint for an extended period I order a large pie. He says they don't take orders for larges in store only online. I ask if I would go out to my truck and place an online order if I could order the pizza and he said yes. I said that's ridiculous. I guess he forgot that people can hear when spoken about under his breath because he said I was ridiculous. I stopped the order and asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. I didn't try another salad this visit. Original: The service was fast and friendly but the pizza was not great quality. I tried two salads and both were not fantastic. The Greek Salad has a lemon type dressing that was way too sour and the arugula salad was just "off" and not tasty. Wow. A make your own pizza bar that is wood fired?! I never even knew these places existed. Great place to find some late night grub. I got the white top which consisted of white cream sauce with mozzarella, apple wood bacon, chopped garlic, arguelo and oregano. I also added onions because I'm an onion freak and no pizza is complete without it! I would not recommend the beer however. A wicked weed cool cucumber beer is as weird tasting as it sounds. I usually love the food at Blaze but had a bad experience tonight. There seemed to be plenty of staff but my pizza (which I ordered on-line) sat there for 15 minutes at the station where they box it up. After I asked it finally got boxed up and they found my salad and I left. When I got home I found that my Caesar Salad was made using spring mix instead of romaine.
