Classic House Special Hot Dog
Jon L.

Stopped in for a quick bite and was impressed by the super fast service and a nice bun to meat ratio on their classic.

Double Cheeseburger, tater tots, and drink over $14.

I have been here a few times and the food has always been good. I normally get the hotdogs but today I decided to try their burgers. I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries, and a drink that came out to over $14. . The burger wasn't bad but wasn't worth $14. I think I will stick with the hotdogs for now on.

I'm from California and saw this place on yelp and decided to stop and try this place out. I was not disappointed. First off the hospitality was top notch. They were so friendly and right away answered any questions I had and recommended items for me to try. Unfortunately I'm not a huge onion or slaw lover, so I declined although I did get advice to try the sausage and I'm so glad I did. I had a sausage dog with mustard and shredded cheese. The bun was toasted and the sausage had a little snap which made it perfect. Mustard was not overpowering and the cheese was just enough. For a side I chose the tater tots. I mean come on why wouldn't I. I also had the fried pickles which came with ranch dressing. Now I don't know what voodoo magic they are frying with but nothing was greasy and they had a lite batter to it so it did not overwhelm. Inside they have tables and a restroom so you can eat inside. All in all I would be back so if you're in the area, stop by and give it a try.

Looks like they had a change of ownership. Still pretty good food, but not as good as it once was.

Farm Dogs - Hot dog with bacon, beer cheese, and mustard with pretzel knots

What a treat to find Farm Dogs still open late on a Friday - such a great spot to grab a bite in a…read morebeautiful historic building. We placed our order at the counter, and the server offered to bring the food upstairs for us, seeing us talking about heading up to get a glass of wine. So we were able to find a good spot to sit close to the bar area, and shortly after our hot dogs arrived. Top marks for the service! The Carolina Dog was a hit, as was the brat with mustard and beer cheese sauce. It was a little hard to find silverware and napkins once we were seated away from the counter, so don't forget to grab some before you head to a table. Great experience overall.

I had heard great things about Farm Dogs and was excited to visit. I was in a bit of a rush that…read moreday but wanted to get Farm Dogs for lunch so I arrived to the food hall at 11:25, 5 minutes before their posted opening. All of the other food stalls were active with prep but not Farm Dogs. Lights started going on in other stalls at 11:30 but not at FD. At 11:35 a gentleman came out from the back and flipped the lights on. I approached the counter about a minutes later. There special hot dog in the moment had Highland Brewery Beer Cheese, yellow mustard, bacon bits, and onions. I ordered that (minus the onions) and 3 pretzel knots with Lusty Monk mustard. I waited for a bit then my order was called. The pretzel knots looked great and they were really hot. I started with the hot dog. It was good. The only thing I really tasted was the beer cheese and it was tasty. I love a mustard and took a big dip of the pretzel knot into the Lusty Monk mustard and my mouth exploded. That mustard had a pretty strong kick. Not in a way I disliked but it just surprised me. I kept dipping and nearly had a tear fall from that spicy mustard but it was good. Overall, I enjoyed what I had but nothing wowed me. The food hall would be a great place to return to with a group so everyone could get something they wanted.

Found myself in the area and knew I had to come back here!…read moreI've reviewed this place before, but I'm going to give them their flowers every time because they just simply don't miss! I got the Italian beef sandwich this time (highly recommend), and it was genuinely perfect. My mom got the meatloaf sandwich which was very tasty, and my dad really enjoyed his Carolina dog. Will forever praise the sweet potato fries, but the onion rings knock it out of the open as well, especially alongside the dipping sauce they provide with them. The gentleman who rang us up was very good at his job, I regret not snagging his name! Very polite, which is always noticed and greatly appreciated. Clean, plenty of seating (inside and outside), and just an overall great vibe to the place. Wish I didn't live 2 hours away, cause this would be a weekly, if not daily spot!

So weirdly expensive for a hot dog joint. 2 Dawgs and fries will have you in the $20 range. I had…read morethe chili cheese dawg which was good as well as a corn dog and tots. I later added a vanilla shake which was another ten dollars. It was all good and the shake was fantastic but it was over $30 per person. For a hot dog shack! They literally have two $11 hot dogs...what? My daughter's Philly Cheese was a steak sandwich. Not thinly sliced steak but great honking chunks of steak. It was a tough sandwich to get down. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant had a run down diner vibe. You could probably pare it down to $20 a person but that is still bonkers for sandwich and fries. I don't think we will be back but glad we tried it for sure!
