This restaurant has been at the entrance of Pisgah Forest for as long as I can remember. I ate here 18 years ago and it was the worst Pizza Hut I had ever been to. I never thought it would still be here but it might be one of the last sit down restaurants in the chain. I have to add it also might be the best Pizza Hut I have been to under the current management, and I have been to a few. We ate here twice this summer and the pizza was terrific, the service was fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. Glad to see a change for the better. read more

Disclaimer: I had to wait a bit to write this review, as I was too hot to be *entirely* objective. We made an order through the phone application, and selected "Dine In". When picking up at the location, the associate informed us that it would be an additional amount to order in location, totaling $17.49. We were fine with that, considering our online application had stated "$18.13". Turns out the associate was quoting us an additional amount for the pizza alone (and did not include the 'specialty' dessert item we had ordered). When we got to the total, it was an additional "$7.49 +tax" to "dine in", despite us having chosen that on the application. The associate was rude, refused to listen, refused to give us her name, and refused to allow us to "dine in" for anywhere near the amount quoted. We thought perhaps we had made a mistake, and left the location with our carry-out (despite being less than ten minutes from this location, they refuse to deliver to our home, stating that - despite google maps confirming the distance - we are "outside" their fifteen minute delivery limit), and we were feeling a bit put-out at this point. A quick check of the application confirmed that we were supposed to be "dine-in" customers at the amount indicated. I called the location immediately, and requested to speak to a manager. Suddenly, our un-helpful associate (same name as the one on our receipt) was brimming with enthusiasm and wanted to ensure that our experience was quick and properly handled. The manager, however, insinuated that I was lying about the application, stating (and I quote) "I've never seen that option for online ordering". When I called him out, he asked "What can I do to make it right?". I told him there was absolutely nothing he could to make it right at this point. As I informed him, I was calling to let him know about the discrepancy between the application and the in-store pickup, as well as the fact that we were treated a bit deplorably when picking up (and his employee's unapologetic rudeness - which I was willing to accept IF it was our error!). When I refused to take any bribes, he insisted that wasn't what he meant and apologized for "how you took this situation" (my interpretation of what had occurred, apparently), and promised to "look into it". I admit I was so angry at this point that I hung up on the manager, whose name I fail to recall. I should mention, we've never had a problem ordering at a close Hendersonville location and dining in with the SAME application (downloadable from Pizza Hut directly). read more

It was January 5, 2018 and it was very cold outside, about 19 degrees, and my wife and I entered the restaurant to find it toasty warm - what a nice surprise. The sign at the door said to wait to be seated so we waited until a server came over. We were seated and we ordered our meal of cheese sticks and personal pan pizzas. The meal was delicious. The flavor was excellent as was the service. Trevor was our waiter and he was extremely polite and checked on us often to make sure the food was tasty and we had everything we needed. My only suggestion is to let customers choose their seats. We found only about four or five families dining inside and all were seated directly in front of the kitchen along one wall. This seating arrangement makes it convenient for the servers but we would have preferred to sit away from the others so we did not have to listen to their chatter. Several TVs were playing with no sound or closed caption and music was playing overhead a little loud. Watching TV was out without knowing what was being said and the music combined with the chatter of others, which was not pleasant. Overall the food was good and the service was excellent. The food and service was definitely five stars but the seating arrangement, which created the chaos of noise combined with the music, took away one star. Maybe next time I will ask if I can sit where I want. read more

Don't bother calling to ask anything even if its only been 1 minute after placing your order online. My confirmation email was missing a topping so I called to confirm and the phone was answered with laughter. I asked if pepperoni was on the pizza and the answer I was given was "it says it will be there at 5:59." I replied I'd like to know if pepperoni is on my pizza order to which she answered "no, but its already in the oven", with more laughing. I had been literally 1 minute since placing the order so I asked if it was too late to add them. While reaching to put me on hold unannounced I heard "ughh now he wants to..." *click*. A male picked up and I had to explain everything over again. He gave me the same auto response answer "its already in the oven." The 3 minute make time is unlikely and was obviously just to get me to go away. I felt like they where just trying to get me off the phone without even listening to my questions. I called back to cancel and was met with more laughing and "and you sure you want to do this?" in a brutally sarcastic tone. With the laughing and overall poor experience I will never order from this location ever again. Next time I'll call Jets pizza or even Little Caesars. read more

Don't order from website. My pizza never arrived and now the store is closed. My payment is pending on my card. Now I have to waste my time calling and dealing with this in the morning. If you do order, never, never use the website. read more
