Starting off with the good, the drinks and breadsticks were great. Management was very attentive and helpful. Our experience started to go downhill when our food came out wrong. We both asked to substitute our noodles for angel hair and neither of us got it. I ordered the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini and did not receive shrimp at all. When we brought it to our server's attention (he blew us off and acted inattentive) we insisted that it was okay and since they were busy it would not need to be redone, but I was expecting a visit from management or at least even a percentage off for not receiving the shrimp. Then on top of that, on our last order of breadsticks there was a hair and still, there was no visit from management or compensation at all. I know the pictures that I took may not do them justice, but I can assure you, the sandwiches are always amazing. The quality and quantity of the ingredients on the sandwiches is great each time. All of the produce is fresh and has a nice crunch to it, and the meat has never seemed off in any way. Also, the bread that they use is really good in terms of being soft, but not mushy, and it doesn't overpower the inside of the sandwich ingredients. We got a side salad from them as well, and it was quite delicious. Service: Each time we go in, we are greeted politely, and we are able to get our order pretty quickly. There's never really a wait time, and the staff is always working really hard to ensure that everybody is served in a timely fashion. Ambiance: Inside is always kept very clean, and it is decently large. It's definitely good for medium-sized groups or a one-on-one dine-in experience. It also always smells amazing! I live in Ames but occasionally drive over to Boone just for the Sauced & Tossed basket lol. It's my favorite, and the two locations here in Ames don't offer it. My husband tried the new Backyard Bacon Ranch Signature Stackburger and really liked it. It's a great combination of flavors. Their ice cream is great (as usual!) and barely started to melt by the time we got home. Service: Absolutely great! The girl (I forgot her name) that took our order and brought our food to us was incredibly nice. She greeted us with a smile and was really patient with us, despite how incredibly busy the drive-thru was. They were fully staffed and doing their best to make sure all of the orders got out in a timely manner; the drive-thru was LONG and kept getting longer. There weren't too many people inside, thankfully. When she brought our food out to us (we were sitting down waiting), she told us to double-check to make sure our order was correct; it was.
