The space is bright, airy, and welcoming, with plenty of small tables inside and a cozy sidewalk setup for outdoor dining. Service is friendly and genuine, definitely gives off that family-owned vibe. Street parking is pretty scarce, but there's a small lot around the corner on 5th St, which is still convenient. I ordered the Beef Shawarma Plate and grabbed a box of pre-made baklava from the counter to-go for my lunch break. The plate was a generous portion. The beef was seasoned perfectly, complete with fresh pita and a delicious garlic spread. The baklava, unfortunately, wasn't the flaky goodness I'd hoped for. It seemed like it might've gone into the container while still warm, so the texture was a bit off, but the flavor was still great. Would love to try it fresh or crisp next time. Overall, Pop's is busy for a reason. Whether you're ordering to-go or dining in, it's absolutely worth a visit!

I typically avoid chicken dishes at restaurants because they often turn out dry and lack the rich aroma you get from beef or lamb. However, Sage's chef elevates chicken to another level. Rather than using the traditional Cantonese technique of quickly flash-frying in oil (which yields a smooth texture but sacrifices the natural meat aroma), the chef here expertly pan-sears the chicken over extremely high heat for a short time. Staff at various vendor stalls are very friendly & open to share their passions to customers. Met the pastry chef from Baking With Ish, Ishnoel from Mindanao, Philippines and the barista/cashier, Jacqueline at Lotus & Bean, they're genuinely welcoming. I've never posted a yelp review before but tonight's experience was just so shockingly terrible that I had to make an exception. I come to this Blaze Pizza all the time and if I could give them ZERO stars, I would. It's March 14 today, they are supposed to close at 11, but they refused to serve us when we came at 10:45. This is unprofessional and ridiculous. Two overweight employees were sitting by the door, blocking us. We asked to speak to a manager, and they said that THEY were the managers. What kind of managers would refuse business FIFTEEN MINUTES before the store is supposed to close? This is the most unprofessional Blaze Pizza I've been to, and I feel like those two "managers" are not who they say they are. I'm definitely reaching out to corporate for this disgusting behavior. They didn't even try to offer us rain checks. I don't care how long the line was or how BUSY you were before I got here, YOU DO NOT REFUSE SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS WHEN YOU CLOSE AT 11 AND IT IS ONLY 10:45. I will definitely tell all my friends and family never ever to come to this Blaze Pizza again. I am so disappointed at the behavior of the employees I saw tonight. You could see there was enough staff working that night (so they clearly have enough help) and to post two large guys as "managers" to sit on stools blocking the doorway and telling customers they are closed is beyond ridiculous. read more

the worst experience i've ever had, Vanessa was the most rudest person i have ever came across my life and the worst part is i can tell she is somebody with authority. she didn't give a warm welcome like the other employees. she was mad giving me a dirty look the whole entire. This isn't first time i had a bad experience with Vanessa, i've came before and she was rushing me and my sister in the line, we were both so appalled by her rudeness but this second time is unacceptable. how does blaze allow such a rude cold person to be working there, every other employee always has a smile and is just so welcoming. you guys really lost a customer due to Vanessas unacceptable attitude, she had no smile both time i can recall coming across her, a simple hi can be nice considering all your other employees are so kind. i'm just disgusted by her manner and will never come back to this blaze ever again. If this lady hates her job so much she just quit instead of making PAYING customers feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. read more

I walked in with my bf, and this guy who acted like he hates his life said we needed to wait outside because there were too many people in the store. The sign outside said the max occupancy was 10, and there were literally 4 employees behind the counter and 4 customers waiting for their pizza to finish in the oven. So we waited for outside for 10 minutes before he finally says he can help us (at this point, there were still the same 8 people inside and no one left, so he made us wait outside for no reason). He was super grumpy while proceeding to make me the saddest pizza I've ever had. He literally took a handful of garlic and slabbed it on, so I had just one large pile of garlic on the side of my pizza. He barely gave me any pepperonis, but I will admit that I should have asked for more. I went to Mod Pizza today and had the total opposite experience, so I will not be coming back to Blaze. read more

From the classic pepperoni to something more unique like the ovalini cheese & veggie toppings, the possibilities are endless. The crust is always cooked to perfection & the toppings are always fresh. The staff is incredibly helpful & accommodating so they always make sure your pizza is made on time & exactly how you want it. Dec 20 5:30pm there's an employee specifically a man with a stupid backwards hat with and a pedo mustache who does not greet customers. Don't want to serve customers? Tough luck. Cheap asf who thinks the toppings are coming out of his paycheck. He's basically a little 4 year girl with a sassy attitude. The only phrase this man knows is "anything else?" With a face you want to punch. Avoid!! Came here before and there cash register wasn't working so they double charged and didn't know how to process a refund. Bunch of idiots working here! They ain't got anchovies... Seriously though. I guess it's good enough. They par cook the dough to 242 (142?) to get the pie to cook faster so the food comes out fast. And they are very very nice. Kind of the chipotle of pizza but chipotle might ask for a retraction. I'm probably hung up on the idea that anything good has to be 'artisan' (not sure people say that anymore). But I really get down on McDonald's breakfast. Fact of the matter is it's not very good. I'm sure once they get their liquor license I'll like it a lot more. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this location. The concept of building your own pizza is fantastic, especially for vegan options. With vegan cheese, soyrizo, and a variety of fresh toppings and crust choices, it was easy to create exactly what I was craving. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Denise, who went above and beyond to make sure my pizza was perfect. She was attentive, patient, and kind. The pizza came out absolutely delicious.
