The pizza traveled well but the knots were steamed to excess in the carryout container and became so chewy that they were inedible by the time we ate. The pizza, however, was fantastic. The crust was tasty and fluffy and the cheese and sauce flavorful. The pepperoni was perfectly crisped and had a slight kick. Aside from A Dopo, this may now be our favorite pizza in the area. We look forward to trying it again soon.

There is a closer Hoss to me but I always go to the Clinton Highway location. The Pizza is good, it's a tier above the national chains, and their Wednesday medium pizza special is a good value. I like a pizza that has a fluffy crust. We go here once a week and get a "thin" crust which is about the same chew as a local chains, their normal crust is a bit more fluffy - I like both normal & thin honestly. Their bone in wings are on point! Huge wings, with a well cooked, skin is not soggy - perfect. It's close, I like their specialty pizzas, their wings are better than the other local cafe options - way better than any chain. There is better pizza around - but the servers, the wings, the specialty pizza and flavors, I find myself here nearly every week so 4 stars.

The dining area was clean. Our entree and breadsticks came out in a few minutes. The assistant manager came around to check on customers; her name is Leilani and she was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our visit to this Fazoli's. Their breadsticks are THE BEST! I also signed up for their app to earn reward points (you can use my referral code: TR09RE87257). We even noticed that every table had a sticker on it with Anthony Armani's number. Impressive. Thank you for great customer service, Leilani.

Nowhere have we found any pizza that compares to the amazing pizza at Legends and Lore. The restaurant is small and almost always busy. The decor is very interesting and will keep you entertained while you wait for your food. And speaking of food, the Flatwood Monster pizza is especially out of this world (pun intended.) One of the toppings is macaroni and cheese. I don't even like mac and cheese, but I love it on this pizza! If you haven't tried it, be sure not to miss it. Just a warning, it does have jalapenos on it. So, if you can't handle a little heat, then I recommend The Legend pizza, which is a supreme with the freshest toppings you'll ever find. Their sammiches are also delicious and very large. A whole hoagie is actually two large sammiches, so you'll have one to eat and one to share or take home. The wings are great too. Heck, everything is fantastic. The owners are friendly and really care about their staff, customers, and the people in the area, often generously giving food those who have fallen on difficult circumstances. They are, as we say here in Appalachia, good people. We drive 36 miles round trip almost every week from Englewood just to eat at our favorite pizza place. It's that good! We love Legends and Lore!!

The pizza is good, not my favorite but I like their unique flavors, such as with the Rougarou and the Exorcist. People say to order the pickle pizza but I haven't taken that plunge yet. My favorite part might be their wings, very meaty and good choices of flavors. The Moonshine BBQ tastes like regular barbecue sauce but my favorite is their Honey Garlic Sriracha. Some of the wings are so hot you'd have to sign a waiver to try them. Some may call it legend-dairy, but I call it a pretty fun pizza joint!

On several visits, we have specifically requested that our garlic cheese bread and salad arrive before the pizza so we can actually enjoy the appetizer and salad course first. Tonight, we again had a very clear conversation about this request, yet everything arrived in the exact opposite order. What was most frustrating was being told that "the pizza comes out when the pizza comes out," as though there is no ability for the front staff and kitchen to coordinate timing. In an open-concept restaurant where the order staff and kitchen are working side by side, it seems like simple communication could easily solve this issue. We truly enjoy the food and want this restaurant to succeed, but proper pacing of a meal is part of good dining service. Appetizers and salads should enhance the experience -- not arrive simultaneously with or after the main course. We hope management will take this constructively because the food deserves service that matches its quality
