The restaurant customer area was chilly. Felt like they had turned the heat way down and eating while being cold isn't a good atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, tables and floor was clean and the staff was the best. Now the pizza was covered in oil and grease. I understand pepperonis and cheese will cause oil to develop on the pizza but ours was just sopped it in. Even the crust was bad it had so much oil in it. I know the owners went to Italy to learn but I don't think the chefs taught them to make a pizza like that. It was terrible. My wife had to get extra napkins to just pat the oil off her slices. Their pizza toppings are very skimpy. I ordered a half pepperoni and half loaded. Each square had four pieces of pepperoni and the loaded has maybe one and one small piece of sausage and half of mushroom. Didn't see any onions or red/yellow pepper on any piece of the loaded. We went to Pizzeria Venti for the first time today and unfortunately we won't be going back. Originally we ordered 4 slices of pizza -- 2 cheese slices and 2 white slices with tomatoes and Alfredo sauce. We waited a good 20 minutes for our food. When it was served to us, we were missing the 2 cheese pizzas. They offered to make the other pizzas but feared it would be another 20 minutes, so we didn't get the cheese slices. The white pizzas were delicious. It came with slices of tomato and extra Alfredo Sauce. It was so good that we ordered another slice and a whole pizza to take home. This was our mistake. We should have left on a good note. We waited another 20 minutes but were served RAW dough on the slice and it had sporadic bits of tomato (no slices) and no Alfredo sauce. VERY DISAPPOINTING. When we got home, the pizza to go was HORRIBLE. It had no Alfredo sauce and basically no tomatoes. We ordered from the same girl at the counter and just can't understand how it can be so inconsistent. Find another place to go. read more

We stopped in here for lunch. I had looked up reviews and they seemed decent. I know going in this isn't going to be excellent pizza.. I set the bar for low on expectations given my experience with other local restaurants serving pizza. Walked in to menus on the way with options from pizza to pasta to entrees. The restaurant smelled amazing of a typical Italian restaurant with garlic and spices. No explanations of how to order or if we sat ourselves. We went to the counter to an employee that was an average experience. First time here and after two questions she seemed annoyed. I got my total and a number for the table. Restaurant was decently full with customers. We ordered breadsticks and a half pan of pizza. Not to be critical but the breadsticks lacked flavor.. they were missing something.. maybe a little salt and a brushing of butter or garlic spread would help elevate them. The pizza was interesting. I can't put my finger on it but based on appearances it looks like it was a poured crust maybe? like old school cafeteria pizza. It was very thin and one piece of crust indicated it wasn't made in traditional ways. It again was missing something.. like salt in the crust. Texturally it was different. Not a pizza. Italians should feel insulted! The worse pizza...I have ever had in my sixty years. We ordering a pan to have leftovers. Our First mistake was not ordering a slice to see if it was worth the effort and price for a pan! Yeppy, we were stuck with a posier pizza. I would have preferred a refund because it's not worth 28 dollars. We basically had to struggle to eat a slice. The Crust is awful and seems to be missing quality zero flour, yeast, salt, good water, and olive oil in it. Description: I guess is a bad English muffin crust with no quality products. I am surprised by the sheer number of 5 star reviews here. There's just no way. I was out of town and taken to lunch by a customer. We had no way to know where to go when we walked in. It doesn't make any sense. The place is made up to look semi high end, with the menu in a fancy font on the wall, but then you go over to a table to order and the staff look like they work in any number of delivery pizza places. I mean, it's a dressed up Fazoli's. I ordered a meatball panino(?) and a Coke. All three of us were disappointed to find Pepsi products at the self serve station, (same as Fazoli's) but it happens. While we waited, one of the guys admitted he had had pizza with his wife here before and it wasn't good. Thanks for the heads-up pal. Got my meatball sandwich and immediately started looking for the meatballs, because there were none! Oh wait, there's a few little cubes. Turns out, it's a few chunks of cut up meatballs, little bit of sauce and cheese. It tasted pretty good, but where are the meatballs? I expected actual meatballs. There was maybe 1/4 of the meat of a 6" Subway meatball. The bottom bread alone was thicker than the total amount of meat, sauce and cheese, and then the top piece was on there. The guy that had been here before? He got a chicken salad salad and loved it. Me and the guy that got the same sandwich and a piece of pizza? Severely disappointed. We went in a Wednesday for salad & pizza. You order everything at the counter. They have pizza & Italian dishes, beer and seltzers. I didn't notice if they had wine. They have Pepsi products (remember I'm a coke girl so they lost a star for that.) I believe it is family pizza night so when you order the pizza you get soft drinks & unlimited salad. The pizza reminded me of Detroit style pizza. The Caesar salad was okay. The strawberry fields salad looked good. For about $65 we had 5 people that got 3 beers, 2 unlimited salads, full pan sausage pizza, half pan pepperoni pizza with tip. The employees will bring you more salad and deliver the pizza to you. First time visit to this restaurant.. Clean location, employees professional and friendly. Was approx 4:30pm and no one else was inside the restaurant except for individuals entering to pick up to go orders. We ordered a full pan pizza (to go) as well as tomato soup and broccoli cheese soup. The tomato soup was hot and tasted delicious, the broccoli cheese was barely luke warm and not good (returned and refunded). The bread that comes with the soup is amazing. Returned to our hotel with the pizza and sadly I was disappointed. The toppings were great, but the bottom of the pizza was pretty much barely toasted bread. Had we been closer I would've returned it and had them go get a good brown bake on bottom. We're leaving in the morning and had we been staying, I'm sure if I returned it they would have refunded it or rebaked it. This was a tough review for me to write because we have been to Venti 15 or so times in the past year. The problem lies with their inconsistency. We love their family special and they have great service, but when the food is off, it's ruins the meal. Pizzeria Venti makes pan pizza so the crust isn't too thick, but there is enough depth to hold a good assortment of toppings. We usually order the "Tutti Buono", which has sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. But every other time or so, we get a doughy, soggy pizza that is a tad undercooked, leading to an unappetizing mush. I would avoid the entrees. I've had the spaghetti and the lasagna. The spaghetti was sadly one of the worst pasta dishes I've ever had, with the strands sticking together in clumps and burned meatballs. They clearly use a canned tomato sauce that overwhelms any other flavor on the dish. As sad as it is to say, when I crave pizza, Pizzeria Venti won't be at the top of the list any more due to their inconsistency. read more

Chicken Caesar salad and stuffed pizza pies were so good! We stumbled upon this place leaving Fort Loudon State Park. Super clean, good variety of items on menu. The salad had diced fresh tomatoes and pumpernickel-ish sliced croutons. Unexpected in a chicken Caesar salad, but it worked! We selected design your own stuffed pizza pies. I had ricotta, pepperoni and mushroom. Partner had sausage and pepperoni. These were huge, priced so well at $8.25 each, and fillings were delicious and overflowing. Cooked perfectly. We stopped here for lunch on our way home from the lost sea adventure. We had a party of 6 and were seated with our orders in pretty quickly. The teenagers in our group wanted mozzarella sticks but the employee recommended cheesy breadsticks instead. We all really liked them. They were super soft and cheesy. The marinara sauce was really good as well a little bit sweet which I like. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza with green peppers. It came out on a baking tray and was enough to feed us all. This is a hard review as some good, some bad, and some meh.. This is not a sit down restaurant. You order at the counter, get your drink, and they bring you the food. Good: Lasagna was great! Think meaty sauce, great flavor. Would come back for this! Bad: We ordered salads and an appetizer, Fonduta Marinara, to share with our table. We asked the girl behind the counter if this was like fried cheese sticks. She said yes but with goat cheese. What we got was a big bowl of red sauce with some goat cheese in the bottom of the bowl and some type of crunch crumbs on top. I love goat cheese, but this was not what we were expecting nor would we have ordered if she had described. Also, the salads were tiny and barely anything on them. Think we had some type of house salad but don't remember the name. Meh: Tables were dirty but when we asked for someone to clean they did it right away. I came here once and tried the pizza sold by the slice. I found it just OK. Not a lot of flavor with it and very little pizza sauce in the pizza. So little that I had to ask for some marinara so I could dip my slices in it. All I saw was thinner sliced pizza but again I like more deep dish style. No disrespect, but some of these 5 Star reviews must've come from family/friends. The food is really horrible - no flavor at all, not even salt. It's very pricey for what you get. You are better off ordering Domino's and getting pizza and baked pasta from there. Definitely home made taste and not done well. Spent $60 on a pan pizza, Chicken Alfredo, and Spaghetti and meatballs in meat sauce. You have to pay for your food before they make it. Red Flag there. Pizza Crust has no flavor. Crust was soft and chewy, almost steamed in some parts because of the baking sheet. Sauce has no flavor, couldn't even taste the sauce. If you order a whole pizza, they set out two large empty cans of crushed tomatoes on which your pizza will rest. Guaranteed those crushed tomatoes are what they use in their pizza/pasta sauce. No kind of garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, etc. were used in the sauce. Purely crushed tomatoes from the can. Cost $3 extra to get the spaghetti and meatballs in meat sauce. The meat sauce was chopped up frozen meat balls in crushed tomatoes. Probably got 2 whole meatballs in the spaghetti - not even large meatballs. Just regular ole small meatballs you find in the freezer aisle. I read another review that said they only got two meatballs with their spaghetti. That must be how it's served. Spaghetti was horrible. Chicken Alfredo - just ugh. No type of seasoning or flavor yet again. The chicken was cubed frozen grilled chicken strips that again, you would find in your freezer aisle. We left the restaurant with 10lbs of leftovers because we barely ate the food. The one thing they got going for them - the food was hot. If you want Hot food, come here. i ordered a spaghetti and meatballs and it was nasty barely any sauce and big ass meatballs

We were looking for a place open in a Monday night. I have a very restricted diet and was sad to not see any clear gluten free or dairy free options. Stayed safe and ordered the tilapia cooked in parchment paper. I got online and noticed they do have gf pizza by the slice. It was all very good. The husband ordered lasagna and love md it. It would be helpful if they had descriptions of some items and posted the gf and dairy free options on the wall. Or as a side menu. read more

I traveled the world and came for the first time in this part of Tennessee. I only found one place in the entire USA where the pizzas would compete with Italy's pizzerias. Well. Travel no further my friend. That pizza brought me so many memories from Venezia, Florence, Rome, Palermo, Turin... staff is young and very friendly. Typical southern hospitality. Had dinner here tonight with friends. It was "ok". I had the spaghetti with white clam sauce. There was absolutely no seasoning in this dish. It was completely bland. I had to add some salt, pepper, grated parmigiana and some olive oil. Clams were "green" and definitely from a can. My wife had Ravioli Alfredo. She enjoyed it although it was a bit "peppery" and had some weird dark coagulated mass in the center. It looked like they had burned the Alfredo sauce and scraped the bottom of the pan. The food runners were polite and friendly. We also ordered breadsticks which were decent although the one that came on the plate with the dinner tasted dry and old. Most of the others had pizza which was not that good, even by East Tennessee standards. The only thing that was really good was their cannoli. It came with hot fudge, caramel sauce and chopped walnuts. Probably the best cannolis in the area. We will not be going back here for dinner.....maybe for a cannoli. read more

The food was pretty good. A bit above average. The part I did not like is where they want a tip before they serve you. the part I found very upsetting was where the charge you for to go container. No matter how good the food is I do not go to places thatcharge you for what is their cost of doing business. I printed menus for places like this for 35 year.
