First time here. Traveling from out of state. The food was delicious and staff was very kind and personable.

First time ever having Blake's (moved to Aztec last year) the older woman handling order taking was absolutely wonderful. The kitchen workers were quick and kept their kitchen super clean. The food was amazing, little salt, very tasty! Would 100% come back loved the burrito I got. Very surprised how little oil was in my food! read more

Something going on at the Aztec Blake's. Not sure what it is but any time I stop by lately, my order is not made and there's a giant line of people all sitting around looking frustrated and bored. The water doesn't work in the bathroom. I went into the girls restroom to see if I could at least wash my hands in there and there was a small bit slightly better amount of water pressure in there. This is the best burger spot in NM but not when it's being run like this. Wish the Blakes corporate ownership would help get involved and get this place back on track. Shame read more

There's zero point in ordering online. When you pickup your online order at the time the site claims it will be ready is when they decide to put your order in. When placing my order I was told it'd be ready in 20 min. I had to wait another 20 min. after arriving at the pickup time. After waiting a total of 40 min. for my order, I realized part of the order was wrong. I recommend exploring other places in Aztec to satisfy your breakfast burrito cravings until this location can get its act together. read more

We need a whole Lota Blake burger in Texas. But then again sometimes a chain is best staying in its own state. I got the Lotaburger New Mexico style and boy did it revive the hope that fast food especially burgers was still alive alive. I consumed this burger in less than 5 minutes while driving the 550 back to Houston. May I suggest milk shake refills...ok maybe I'm pushing it but I got chocolate and now I want Vanilla. The shake was pretty good and I wanted to try the dulce de leche flavor but save it for next time said my brain. I can tell you that the quarter lb beef patty was perfectly cooked and when doubling up still juicy with melty cheese and grease dripping ...it was great. The seasoned fries were, like many mentioned, a must and perfect. You don't have to do a whole Lota stoppin because the service was quick and the customer service at Aztec location was super friendly and excellent. read more

Food was burnt to the point it was inedible, took over 45 minutes, ordered chicken and got a piece of fish. I normally wouldn't complain but this was actually disgusting and horrible, especially for the price. read more

Blakes has been on the downhill since the new ownership. Blakes management needs to help the employees in Aztec as I have bought food several times over the last year and wait times at 40+ minutes. Overall, Blakes quality has dropped off. Used to be the best burrito in New Mexico and hardly eat Blakes anymore. read more

Blake's is a solid burger, seasoned fries are a must and the franchise is a New Mexico staple! Each individual restaurant can be hit or miss with the service and how fast/slow the food comes out. This location in Aztec has received some negative reviews lately so I was a little worried that our intentions for a quick stop for dinner wouldn't be so quick. However, the 3 ladies working today were quick and efficient! We were greeted right when we came in and were told it would be a few minutes before they could take our order. The wait to order wasn't terribly long (no more than 5 minutes) and they got to us just as quick as they could. Food came out fast-- our 3 sons never had to ask when it was going to be ready. All told, we spent 30-40 minutes there total--to order, be served, eat, have a quick bathroom break and back on the road. read more

I have never been to one before and had a friend from the area suggest it. I want to say the cashier that served my friends and I was very energetic, seeming like she liked her job. She effectively explained the menu and suggested what to get. I would come back to this location due to the service. The food was good and I probably would try more of the menu if I could. read more

Ok for a fast food place, we were seriously impressed. We made the trek from Durango to Albuquerque and this was a food stopping place to stretch our legs and grab a quick bite. The burgers are HUGE for the price. The seasoned fries remind me of the curly fries from Jack in the Box. I finally asked about the order after a half hour wait; was told they don't like to put burgers on the grill when there are eggs being cooked. You can tell by the lack of customers, they don't seam to restock their supplies, always out of something. Employees seem unmotivated, could it be because of management? Definitely a yummy burger. I got the smaller size burger and it was delicious. Just the right size. Hubby got the bigger size and it was perfect for him. Loved their fry sauce and seasoned fries. We will definitely be visiting again. read more

I have officially had it with the aztec Blake's. I stood there and stood there waiting to even be aknowledged. Then my burrito had one very undercooked egg and one very over-cooked egg. The past few times I've been there it's been this way and they always have sketchy looking employees it's just gross. read more

Larger menu than expected from a little burger place. They serve breakfast until 11am. We had lunch. The burgers were served on a toasted bun and you can have it any way you want it. Thick and juicy burgers but NOT at all greasy. Delicious! read more

Sooooo......I'm sitting here at Blake's in Aztec eating a quick lunch because I felt hypoglycemic. It amazes me how different this Blake's is compared to Gallup. I hear the crew talking, laughing, seemingly enjoying their job. It's wonderful to hear joy in their tone of voices. I would come again. Definitely. Just listening to them would make it worthwhile. The manager is lucky to have such a crew. My chili dog, which I ordered without cheese, cake with cheese. I took it back. They immediately replaced it, steaming hot.
