After having a bad experience in Albuquerque with some "New Mexican" food which tasted like Taco Bell and Lunchables had a nasty baby and they poured butter and salt on it, this was such a wonderful alternative! We were passing through to Aztec and we saw the reviews on Yelp, so we decided to take a chance. I got the carne asada burrito with no rice and chips and guacamole and my husband got the shredded chicken burrito with no cheese. Everything was perfectly seasoned and tasted fresh. We enabled all the food. The employee working the register was super knowledgeable and answered all my questions and the food was quick. Rolled the diced and wasn't disappointed. Small cafe but still plenty of seating. Food was hot, fresh, and tasty. I didn't white glove everything, nor did I use the restroom, but everything seemed clean, open, and airy. Two minor disappointments: they were out of guacamole for my chips, and one kitchen worker was not wearing a mask (which I believe is the law in this state right now). But beyond that, It was a great lunch. I'll certainly be back to sample the rest of the menu. read more

This place is not fast about orders and they didn't get my order correct. Carne asada apparently is tortilla and dry meat. No pico which was asked for or guacamole. The other burrito I ordered was a chorizo burrito. It was super greasy. I expect some grease but not pouring out. The price of this experience was over 20$ for 2 burritos. This restaurant is so delicious. I was born in Mexico and the red sauce taste like I was going home to eat in moms kitchen. We are traveling through headed to Oklahoma just stopped here for a quick dinner. Nothing fancy about this restaurant but it is very clean. Even the bathroom. The people who own the restaurant are so sweet. But most important the enchiladas were absolutely delicious. They don't skimp on the sauce and the tortillas seem to be homemade. We will be stopping here again for sure. The only bad think was I ate too much because we were traveling I didn't want take it with me. So of course I ate every bite.
