04/21/26 Our lunch far exceeded my expectations of a fast food restaurant. The employees were amazingly friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was fresh and delicious. We got the new Pineapple Chamoy milkshake with Tajin and it was quite different and a fun flavor to try. The french fries were seasoned, hot, and fresh. The Mexican style Lota burger and the Blake's chicken sandwich were equally delicious and worth the stop. I was throughly impressed with this place and it definitely deserves 5 stars for a fast food joint. read more

This store is really busy lots of call in orders . There can be a substantial wait. My Last visit was take out when I got home the fries. Were stone cold . I called the. Store. Got. Put on hold . They said bring them back . I did they. Gave me cold. Fries again. I returned them & said " I give up". Burger was ok . The ice tea needed ice. read more

I have to say I was not very impressed with the food, nor the ambience as it did not seem very clean. I got a burger. It was pretty much flavorless besides the green chilies and jalapeños which the jalapeños are NOT fresh cut jalapeños. read more

Two stars...if it wasn't for the awesome food, I'd give it one star. This is a review for the West Main Street and Murray location . The service was terrible, the cashier totally ignored me for the first few minutes. I ordered online and pickup my order several minutes later. I got there for breakfast and it was busy. The orders kept coming in and the staff was busy trying to keep up, but the cashier kept complaining about her job and not wanting to answer the phone, which rang constantly. She could just tell us that they are very busy and she'll be right with us when she can get a break...but she didn't. Once again, service sucked. The food, Blake's #5 burrito is the best with green and red chili, it was delicious and it's arguably the best burrito in town. Burgers aren't what they used to be, smaller and looks to be in line with In & Out burgers, just slightly better. Oh, let's not forget the hefty roach that was under the sofa dispenser, that thing was as large as my thumb! Freaking gross! Come Blake's, let's to a better job keeping this place clean! read more

They dont open on time. There standing inside looking at you but wont open the door. Supposed to open at 6:00am. I dont understand why the hours say 6:00am if there not ready untill 7:00am. Many cars drove up and waited then left. So much money and business lost. read more

The best Itsabuger EVER at this location! I have been going to Lotaburger for over 50 years all over NM, and always have the same thing. Last week, at this Lotaburger, our double-meat double-cheese with Green chile Itsaburgers were especially amazing: flavorful, hot and juicy. Had my first Itsa as a teenager in Pojoaque; now my husband and I are OTR truck drivers and stop at any Blake's where we're able to park. Going back tonight on our way from Portland OR to East TX. The only thing that would make this location better is having all-day breakfast (there are only a couple that do it), but I'm not gonna push it. read more

With family in two corners of the state, I've spent a fair amount of time in New Mexico in my lifetime. And one thing I can't do in Oklahoma is eat at Blake's. But that means it's extra-special when I do. A few things about Blake's... - most, if not all, have outdoor seating (major perk in my book) - don't expect a drive-thru; just go inside and enjoy how amazing it smells - it takes a minute because they're going to make your burger just for you! - the Original Green Chile Cheeseburger is divine (but I typically get the (smaller) Itsa Burger - ...because then I can justify having a shake ...and there is always a seasonal flavor (naturally, it's Pumpkin Pie this October moment), but I opted for Cherry tonight (in hindsight the chocolate and strawberry are better) - hubs says the seasoned fries are "better than plain fries for sure!" So next time you are passing through New Mexico (or parts of TX or AZ) and you spot a Blake's, ask yourself, "Self, are you hungry?" From there, you've got some good options. read more

Ive been a blakes fan for most of my life. This store in particular does NOT have their stuff together what so ever. Ive been here twice this week after calling in and each time when i show up they claim to be "behind" and only when i say my name and show up do they pull out their order list and start making it WHEN YOU SHOW UP. There is absolutely NO POINT in calling in here. Even with a short staff whatever system they have in place is not working well. The cashier last visit just pulled my order out of a stack that she had mixed. So far as i sit her for 30 min for a burrito i called in another 30 min ago ive seen 5 customers walk in and ask for their order and simply leave due them being "behind" . Not only are they loosing customers left and right but also loosing faith that they can complete the few orders they have in a reasonable time. There are only 3 people in the store atm but they continue to tell every customer that its a 30 min wait. So far ive now seen 8 customers leave and go elsewhere. No telling how bad word of mouth is too considering just how horrendous this is. It seems like its a logistical/systems issue that could be resolved with some leadership who knows how to manage a fast paced food environment. I dont want to get anyone in trouble however if i was the owner of this store id seriously consider hiring management who can handle a simple order chain . GO SOMEWHERE ELSE for your sanity . read more

The worst Blake's in town. Every time I go to this Blake's they are always slow, behind, or they mess up my order, for instance today, I order a burrito, pick it up and went on my way. I got a half hour down the road and start to eat it and realize they didn't put cheese or chile on it. Last time I was at this store a few weeks ago I received someone else's order but yet it had my name and number on the bag, it wasn't even close to what I ordered. First off, I've been getting food here for over 35 yrs. Love this place, but it has recently turned crappy. Idk if it's always been this way, but we've been coming here for the last 3 months (visit my Dad). Every time there is something that goes wrong with this place. 1st time was ordering system went down, they were backed up like 20-30 orders. 2nd time was a gas leak (smell of gas), this morning, no hash browns. Management needs to tweak their logistics for supplies. Hire dependable ppl (short staffed), not ppl who will give attitude when questioned on why food takes 40min to get done. Or cooks who slam food and boxes around. This place just sucks now. Or! Tear the place down and build another one back up... maybe just shut it down for good. Sorry, but we won't be coming back to this particular establishment. The one on Bloomfield Hwy will be getting our money from now on. read more

My first experience with Lotaburger won me over. Usually I don't eat fast food, but I couldn't go through New Mexico for the first time without visiting this NM-based chain, home to what's rumored to be the best green chile cheeseburger in the country. $10 bought two breakfast burritos and two coffees. My sausage breakfast burrito was almost the size of my forearm but thicker and stuffed with fresh eggs, sausage bits, hash browns, onions and green chiles. Burritos usually come with cheese but I skipped that part. What amazes me is how a fast food joint manages to make something that hearty without it being greasy. I watched them make the food with real ingredients and not stuff out of a box or freezer bag. This location is clean and there is ample outdoor seating. Whether you live here or you're passing by I highly recommend that you try it at least once. read more

Pretty much your standard burger and fries place. No complaints, but nothing to rave about

We were traveling through on our way back to Oregon, and my husband wanted a milkshake. We spotted a McDonalds, but then saw Blake's, so we stopped there. The shakes were smooth, creamy and thick. The fries were hot, fresh, not dried out, and not too salty; sooooo much better than McDonalds. The food was reasonably priced and the service was quick. I would give them 5 stars, but their bathroom was closed. I like to wash my hands before eating. I am told the restroom is closed due to Covid, but aren't we encouraged to wash our hands more BECAUSE of Covid??? (insert eye roll) read more

Stopped through Blake's while passing through town on Sunday Dec 27th at 11am. I'm all about supporting local business so we chose Blake's rather than the McDonalds across the street. There are 2 doors going into the building... I chose the one on the right side of the building which had a sign saying masks are mandatory. Cool, no issue. Once inside the woman behind the counter *SCREAMED* "NO MORE THAN 3 PPL INSIDE! READ THE SIGN!" It was totally uncalled for! The sign she was referring to was on the OTHER door so I didn't even see it, nor did the lady who walked in right before me. I have no issue with the rule, but I have an issue with the way the employee screamed at customers. I waited outside until it was my turn and when I entered I heard the employees giving attitude to the woman ahead of me, about the signs. They were making comments about "can't you read? It's even highlighted on the sign." Then a gentleman who ordered his food before I arrived and had been waiting outside for his order, entered and asked one of the ladies when his order would be ready and she gave him attitude and said "it's not ready! You can come back in 10 min!" Didn't offer to bring him his food or anything. So at this point I walked out. I'm not going to give my money to a business with extremely rude employees. There were 2 ladies who were especially rude working in the front and one shorter gentleman. Sorry Blake! Have your employees work on their manners and customer service and then I'd be happy to give you another try! Side note, the McDonalds across the street was extremely fast and very pleasant employees. read more

The food was good and fast as always, I agree with the other yelpers, if you are in a hurry make sure to call it in because they are swamped all of the time. Everything on my breakfast sandwich was great, other than the chili being a lot hotter than I expected for green, it was good. I love Blake's but for the past week I've tried to call in for pickup and they've only answered their phones once. I have no problem with other locations I just wish this one would improve their phone services being that it's on the commute to work. I'll give it a two because their food is top notch but the phone services need major improvement. read more

This is my favorite Blake's in town. As with all Blake's the burgers are great and pre prepared in front of the customers. Everything on the menu is tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner.They are usually busy so call ahead of time. The call or the wait are worth it, this location always gets my order correct without fail. read more
