Went to Denny's Restaurant to have breakfast, and all the red flags started with cold coffee, and a cold breakfast. Seems that the waitress was very talkative with other workers, but was not paying as attention to the cook getting the food out on time. To his is how you loss customers, but providing bad service. The worst Denny's ever. 4 customers, the table was filthy, the one waitress was dazed and confused, never did bring the correct order. The wait was overly long for any dennys.... But one at 10pm with 3 other tables was ridiculous..... we chose sofas instead of water but those were not close to what they should have been. So I got a lot to say. We did an online pick up order my husband drove from Aztec nm to Farmington nm to pick up the food and back to Aztec. He got home and someone please tell me why there is broccoli on this damn burger and how they are allowed to serve raw fish. My husband is close to deathly allergic to broccoli and had to take Benadryl before his throat closed up after the bite he took. This was not the fault of the manager the manager was extremely nice and gave us a refund and a remake of the food. It was the "chef" in the back that when I went back to Farmington to get it replaced looked drugged out of her mind and almost incoherent to what was going on. read more

We ordered breakfast to go , on the website, at around 2am. A philly omelet with cheese hash browns and white toast, and a ham and cheese omelet with berry banana pancakes. When we picked up our order, after waiting at the counter for 10 min, we headed home, and received a call from the cashier, stating they gave us the wrong food. So we headed back and picked up our order. At this point, it's 330 am. When we finally got to eat, there was no toast, no cheese on hash browns, the ham omelet consisted of Swiss cheese, peppers onion. No ham or American cheese. The pancakes were smashed on top of the omelet and browns, and there were no berries or bananas, syrup, or utensils. The two meals together were 40 bucks, and there was no management on duty at that hour. The food was horrible, burnt and cold. Do better, Dennys. We definitely will not be back anytime soon. read more

firstly let me start off by saying as a trucker i eat at a lot of different locations and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this dennys , and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. But the real star of the show was the food--every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Not only did the change the menu, the service is abominable. It took 30 minutes for them to take our order and they didn't even write it down. It used to be okay but there's really no reason to go to Denny's anymore it's not cheaper than iHop and iHop has a better selection and better service. This Denny's is Farmington's Waffle House but without the fighting. So, we don't even get any entertainment. Definitely would not recommend even if it's your only option. read more

Usually never a problem with Denny's. Decent food, decent price, expedient...until today. My prime marital unit and I arrive and are seated as per normal. It's between breakfast and lunch crowds, but steadily busy. However, the waitsfolk are either running around apparently aimlessly or standing and chatting. Receive coffee and menus, wait 18 minutes for someone to take our order: one All American Slam and one Lumberjack Slam. Timings: fresh coffee: 14 minutes. Had to ask twice. Food arived 34 minutes after our order. OK, not spectacular, but having worked fast food eons ago, I can understand. Wife's Slam is passable, but mine had incredibly curled-up and dehydrated hash browns, and were stone-cold as were the sausage, toast and bacon. But my straight-up eggs ("Sunny Side Up") were about 1/2 way cooked. The yolks were running around the plate and the whites were still clear and sloppily albumeny. After another 10 minutes, I finally flagged down our waitress and explained the problem. "Oh, you want your eggs over medium." she told me. "No, I want them straight up but at least cooked through." I replied. She huffed and grabbed my plate, muttered something about egg styles as she whisked it off to the kitchen. Fully 9 minutes later, my "sunny-side up" over-medium eggs arrived with one sausage and a scorched piece of ham. The bacon had apparently gone AWOL. Did I receive new food? Nope. They tossed everything onto the flat top and replated them after they regained a bit of heat. How do I know? Because my eggs were heavily peppered ON THE BOTTOM, as I had peppered the originals before I actually partook. Same old sausage, same old inedible hash browns, heavily overcooked and stiff eggs and a scorched-on-one-side hunk of forlorn ham. I literally threw in the towel. I refused to eat any of this slop and mentioned so to the waitress. She "hurrumphed' and whisked away our plates to hasten our departure. No more fresh coffee, no mention of anything for afters, no "what can I do to make it better?"; just 'give me your plates as you're annoying and I need to go talk to some other waitresses' vibe. The manager was within earshot of all this and did absolutely nothing. He did try and misdirect my complaints by gushing about my Russian Diver's Wristwatch as we AARP'ed our way out of there; but he too wanted us gone without any further drama. So we will accede to his wishes. We vow never to return and our money's just as green over at the Village Inn or myriad other breakfast venues here in town. A shame really, but perhaps they might want to hire more waitstaff and educate their cook. However, that's just my humble, though very informed opinion. Feel like playing Cackleberry Roulette? We have been traveling for 10 days now. This is our last day on the road and heading home. Went to breakfast this morning and our breakfast was pretty good. My dad's pancakes were a little cold, sausage was a little dry, really good eggs. Passing through town for the night and needed a quick and easy bite. Denny's is usually a reliable choice. I tried ordering on the app from my hotel room across the street but there were issues with that so I went in to place a to go order. Upon entering stood at the front desk for a solid 5 minutes while basically being ignored. Eventually the General Manager came out from the back to man the desk and made sure to stop and chat with everyone possible before coming to greet me or the 5 other people that had now come in. Ordered food, waited a reasonable amount of time and got my to go order. Got my back to my hotel room and realized we had zero condiments-granted I didn't ask for anything specific but some condiments tend to be "standard".
