First time I've been to this location in years. We went on Christmas eve. I was suprised it wasn't super busy, we were able to be seated immediately. Food was tasty with super large portions. I had the steak omelet with pancakes. All the staff was friendly. read more

Food was cold by the time it made it to our table. It was a touch busy (Memorial Day) so I'll give em that one. No refills on coffee, and it took forever to get a simple plate of flapjacks. Again, it was a little crowded but for my first IHOP excursion, a touch disappointed... maybe I should come back on a regular weekday. read more

Simply, really. It's Saturday, 9/16/2023, and 9:22pm. This store is advertised on their door, on Google, and the website as being open until 12:00am. THE DOORS ARE LOCKED. My spouse and I exited our vehicle and we both saw a young woman look up from the front counter, and bolt/run towards the back. We walked up and pulled on the doors and waited a couple of minutes, but no one would even make an appearance. We finally left and went to another well-known diner chain restaurant. The waitress was apologetic the manager said, " theres nothing we can do about it" come on now surely there is something to do. Not good. Yes, I know, don't ever expect much from iHop. But, how do you not get bacon crispy? From the conversations between a waitress and the cook, mine wasn't the only one. I mean LIMP. Just went in to this place and was greeted by a man in a mask at the podium, he said "you have to have mask" my wife said how do you eat with a mask on and he said you can take it off at the table...5ft away I might add (not one person inside had a mask on but this idiot) so I pulled my shirt over my Maputo and said does this work? He said a very stern NO!!!! I turned around to leave and said to my wife "this is stupid", the Manager (I'll assume from past visits to an IHOP) yelled "I'm FU*CKING Stupid? GET THE F*UCK OUTTA HERE!!!!" as we turned to go out the door there were 6 young adults standing behind us and they turned and left as well. Great mask policy. Good to see some businesses are taking this pandemic, which is still happening, seriously.

First off our waitress was not very attentive. We had two children and three adult dinner party ordered a meal ask for the egg over medium we got an over easy egg, a child's macaroni and cheese had hair in it The plate that her hamburger came on had hair on it, another dish the farmhouse platter had multiple hairs on it underneath the food was missing a whole order of toast. Everybody's food Was brought to the table at different times Waited 10-15 minutes for the waitress to bring my two year old grandchild food to her. When told about the hairs on the dishes they took out toast with the plate and then we were charged for more toast. And only offered a 10% discount for all the problems with the food the kids did not even eat and 1 adult didn't eat because well who would eat at a place after finding so much hair in our food. Blah diner food that absolutely REQUIRES Tabasco/Chulula to give it some taste, IHOP in Farmington is only recommended for late nights or when your parents/grandparents insist on pancakes. My last few visits, the service has been slow to the point of crawling. Turnover must be high as I've never had the same waitstaff twice and they never seem to know what they're doing. Honestly, the only familiar face I've noticed is the manager... and while he started out friendly, he's gotten pretty surly over the past year or so. read more

Easy in easy out. We walked right in, got seated, ate what we wanted, and left. The server accommodated a tricky request and to doubly ensure our happiness he discounted the bill. Awesome :) I wish there were fewer suger-drenched items on the menu. But was pleased there were salads and burgers available. read more

Havn't been here in years! Thought we would try it out. It was myself and my two small children... our server was Lauren. She was so sweet and did a great job! She listened and laughed to every joke my 7 year-old told her! We were there at about 5pm on a Tuesday and there weren't many people there. It was very inviting and felt the service was great. Nothing like having the manager run you out of a business because it was "the weekend and you had been there for 2 hours already". There was a diplomatic way to say it and not be as rude and condescending as he was. Also, there were 4 tables and booths in our section that had been empty for at least 20 minutes. HORRIBLE service. We went in around 2pm for a late lunch. We were the only ones in the waiting area. Hostess checked two people out, looked at us, and walked away. Different person walked up and asked if we had been helped (if we had we'd be at a table). We said no and she then walked away. We waited a while and were just about to leave when someone finally cared to help us, however she needed to clean a table first. Only about 12 tables were occupied and the east side of the restaurant wasn't even being used for seating so we were crammed into the one half of the building being used. They have an issue with flies too. If you don't mind being ignored by staff and having to wave flies away from your food every 5 seconds then go to this place. We will NOT go back. read more
