The ambiance is kind of like a construction sight but this place gets 5 stars for service alone. Went in to get a doughnut and didn't realize my card got information got stolen until after ordering. There was an employee helping me, greeted me with a smile, and he decided he would pay for it. I didn't ask him to and I was going to suggest to just cancel it. I returned to pay him back and he was extremely respectful and humble the entire time constantly declining it. (I was able to get him to take it) he had no reason to pay but was still super respectful although I caused an inconvenience. The kid definitely deserves a promotion, I know most managers read this, I didn't get his name but he has blonde hair and was working April 15. Let him know I still appreciate him. Love their basic donuts. The potato flour they use makes them super soft and delish! They also make delicious coffee and breakfast burritos. A favorite stop for me. They also support local schools and sports which is always a bonus. read more

We were gonna try this place for the first time and as soon as we walk in the door, there's roach house traps on the ground that are filled with roaches definitely not the first impression you want for someone walking into your business, it was pretty gross. I had never heard of this place before I moved out here from Southern California in 2016. People that work there are great service is great. Honestly, the best donut I've ever tasted. I mean Krispy Kreme is great also. But I think this one beats it just based on the fact that it's just got a whole different flavor. I normally go for the bear claw maple no filling, cause they do fill their donuts with stuff. Meaning jelly and cream and stuff like that I think. I don't know. I've never had a filled donut from here. They also have hamburgers and hotdog and stuff. Hamburger is great. Don't so much care for the fries although I'm a big fan of more like steak fries like thick fries which they have thin fries so that's just not me. But yeah, they're cake Donuts are great too like the blueberry ones are just awesome. And then when you go inside it's a nice little place. It's clean. Never work for this location. They fired a very hardworking employee when she got APPROVED time off to fly out of state to be with her DYING father, and the week after he passed away with her by his side, when she called to let them know she will be back that Monday, they fired her on the phone while she is still morning with family. By far the best donuts in Farmington, Johnny O's is a must visit. Really wish they would have been around when I was growing up. I think about the cherry donuts often, a flavor that is not only hard to find elsewhere but hard to pull off. Also, the breakfast burritos are superb. Green chile bacon has always been my go to and probably always will be. My only gripe is the hours are difficult. I live in Albuquerque and am only ever really in Farmington on occasional weekends and holidays but I have definitely driven over on a weekend only for them to be closed. On display and ready for your selections were all the same treats as your usual donut shop, but these treats are all made with potato flour. As far as taste they are light and fluffy and cake like. Oh how I'd love to have donuts everyday but my metabolism says different. If I were able to have donuts everyday I'd be at Spudnuts every morning and buy extra on Saturdays to enjoy on Sunday mornings cause they are closed on Sundays.
