The finest dining option for Farmington (seriously) in a sea of fast food. Outbacks tend to be above average in service along with standard fare, and the Farmington location hit the spot. Although the bar was jammin', I was promptly greeted by the bar team (Trevor and ?) who were professional and courteous. My one-star deduct is for the temperature of the filet. I was only here for the filet mignon on July 20th, Thursday at 7 pm. I ordered medium rare filet mignon and they served me well done dried cooked filet mignon and so I was told they can cook another one at medium rare and they came through with rare. I am not sure who your cook is; they need to do a better job. All I enjoyed was my lobster and asparagus. However I will take my rare filet mignon home have my 13 year old cook that to perfection. Words can't describe my disappointment. I sat at the bar to get quick service. Been years since I have eaten at an Outback! I honestly will never be back! The restaurant was 1/2 full and after 30 minutes I still had not had my shrimp appetizer. Unbelievable! So I paid for my drink and left. The bartender was cold and never one time checked in with me. First of all Logan our server was awesome. I would give him a 10. The manager was also very courteous and helpful. However the kitchen staff need to be fired. The food was good but it took an hour to come out. We had a 16 month old and an infant and that doesn't go over well. Manager and server were both apologetic and I do not hold them responsible. It's about expectations, it has the typical classic outback food. It's a good place for large group and families when we were there the service was good and attentive. We had steaks and both were cooked how we wanted them our sides were good. My friend had the ribeye which he enjoyed and I had the Victoria fillet which I enjoyed. We had a couple local draft beers which were good. I would recommend this expecially for large groups or families.
