Scam company sells refurbished (which I didn't see mentioned in details of system or wouldn't have bought) and will give you hands down great service until the 30 day return warranty expires. Then it's a no returns, no refunds, no service and no factory warranty so you're stuck with a piece of junk not even good for a boat anchor! Definitely will complain to Walmart because Walmart stated they should had a one year factory warranty. Maybe get their crap pulled out of their inventory. read more

About a week ago (late-July of 2022) on Walmart.com, I ordered a Dell Optiplex 980 (2010)--which Blair Technology Group was selling and would soon be shipping. A keyboard and a mouse would also be included. I was very happy with the cost, which was about $100.00 including tax and shipping. The computer arrived in a week--maybe even a little less. Upon unboxing and examining the items, I noticed that I had been sent a Dell Optiplex 390 DT (2011). I didn't know at the time that the 390 was a year younger than the 980--I had assumed that the 390 was several years older than the 980 based on its name. Via a call to Dell tonight, I confirmed the 2 years of release. Blair Technology Group offered to replace what they sent me (a 2011 computer) with what I ordered (an older, 2010 computer), but I decided to keep what they sent me--even though it wasn't what I had ordered. Tonight, I went to Target, bought the cheapest monitor in the aisle--an HP M24fe (23.8" Diagonal FHD Monitor)--and hooked it up to the Optiplex at home. A couple of hours later, here I am--using the monitor and the Optiplex to compose this Yelp review. Zero complaints--this computer is working beautifully and I will take great care of it. With the total having been around $250.00 (the computer, the keyboard, and the mouse from Blair Technology Group was around $100 and the monitor from Target was around $150), I'm satisfied with what I received for that amount of money. read more

I got a pc as a gift. it didn't work so I checked where they got it from and it was amazon (blair tech was the seller). I couldn't leave a review there since I didn't buy it, but the pc was complete trash. First of all, it wouldn't boot up, I tried to switch boot mode for 3+ hours and then decided to open the back to check the drive, turns out it wasn't even plugged in. also the fans didn't work either so my pc over heats now too. then it seemed to work for a couple of hours but then it just turns off. I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't and spent another 2-3 HOURS trying to figure out what's wrong. still have A LOT OF PROBLEMS, pretty sure they used pirated windows and use SUPER cheap parts because that pc was a waste of $800. read more

They took a order for computers that they didn't even have in stock. So they missed the expected delivery date & gave me no update on my order. They almost ruined my kids xmas gift but I found a pc elsewhere in time. Also, I called their customer service number to cancel order & was left on hold for 1 hour before hanging up. So I called back pretending to want to place a new order & they answered the phone on the second ring! False Advertising Compounded by No Customer Service. Blair holds themselves out to be a "top 5 Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher selling fully tested computers in excellent working condition, ready to go out of the box". I relied on this representation and incurred expense in transferring my data over to the new computer. While they did replace the hard-drive at their expense, they refused to acknowledge my software financial loss resulting from their not fully tested / not in excellent working condition computer. As a prospective employer, the recruiter (Katie W.) is literally the worst choice that I have ever seen. She posted a position, to which I replied to and was overly qualified for. I received a reply from her, saying we would love to bring you in for an interview. I replied that I would like to schedule one at her earliest possible convenience, and asked to verify if it was full or part time (as she even screwed up the job posting and posted full time on one, then on the next page posted part time). She replied asking where does it say that, and I told her where she correct the mistake on the posting,(and had to screen cap it for her as well) and asked about the interview. No reply.... spent the next 9 days sending 5 messages asking for a date to set one up. No replies to any of them, after her going can we schedule an interview.......... After that I gave up hope of ever receiving an interview and messaged her that in the future it would be more professional to reply to a person who you have requested an interview from. She replied (aka finally did her job) the next day saying "I lost your reply in my spam folder" Tho since I hurt her feelings saying it i would be professional to reply (aka do the one job you have) she would not schedule an interview now. Seriously. A recruiter who doesn't know how to even use basic email with any proficiency, who can't post a job posting without messing up key information, and fails at every level of her job, and is the person hiring for jobs will tell you all you ever need to know about them. read more

I'd give 0 stars if possible. I purchased a refurbished Dell OptiPlex 990 PC from Blair Technology through Amazon and, it had issues from the start. I planned to use this tower to run a business and it has set me back so much. For weeks I tried contacting them finally was able to get through using Amazon support they were very rude and basically told me I was making it up that it was defective and to send back the tower to be diagnosed not to mention I've already had my own it tech come out to try to resolve the issue, he confirmed there was a motherboard issue. My organization purchased a computer from them in the beginning of February. We had problems with it immediately. They delayed and would not return our phone calls. They even blocked our phone number because hey said we were harassing them, when we were just trying to redeem the warranty. When one my workers informed me about the issue, I called and questioned with a different number. They evaded, gave wrong information, and were completely dishonest. I purchased a $219 Dell 780 Desktop PC with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 8GB Memory, 19" Monitor, 1TB Hard Drive and Windows 10 Pro refurbished Dell computer from them off Walmart.com. Unfortunately, it's junk. Your order cannot be cancelled once you order. BTG offers a so-called 30-day warranty on defects that begins once you purchase. Mine took 12 days to arrive, therefore it's really a 18 day warranty. It offers a 14 day return from the date of purchase (2 days for me). There is a 15 percent restocking fee, plus buyer pays shipping. The Dell computer came with a used Samsung monitor, a cheap mouse that costs no more than $3 and a keyboard that's worth no more than $5. It supposed to be wireless, however they fail to tell buyers that it's an external USB stick that you must install. The wifi is horrible. I would not recommend a purchase from BTG by anyone. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I bought my desktop thru Staples and it seemed reputable at the time. It came with no Windows license and was supposed to come with Win 10 Pro, but they later emailed me one. I had trouble from day one. It would not see the network drives; it would not see the printers; it would randomly reboot. One CS rep told me how to reset back to factory defaults and I did. It seemed it was going to do better until I tried to map a drive and it said I did not have privileges to map a drive!! I was installing software and it said the .net framework was corrupted. I reinstalled it and same message. I am a Network Engineer and have been doing this for 25 years. I called CS again and the lady was rude, said it was my software and then she said they could not help me and hung up on me. LUCKILY.... Staples is taking it back. But I was installing this for a customer and I now have over 10 hours of time spent that will be unbillable. read more

Ordered a computer from this company on Dec4th. It was a christmas gift for my girls. On the website, it gave an estimated delivery date of the 15th. Company didn't ship computer until the 19th. Because they got more orders than anticipated. Was promised on multiple occassions that my computer was going to be here on the 23rd. I have emails from the employees promising that my computer would be here by the 23rd. UPS tracker consistently said the 27th. I brought this up on several phone calls. Again reassured and PROMISED I'd get the computer before christmas. Did not receive computer until the 27th! After Christmas! Called to file a complaint and was basically told it was my fault because I did an address change. Which I did do ON THE 10TH!! And it was to leave computer at ups so i could pick up instead of delivering. At the time of this change, computer had not even been shipped. But according to Blair Technology, it was because of that. Even though all of there meaningless promises took place way after that date. My emails range from the 19th-23rd. Very disappointed. I purchased a computer for my grandchildren in May that I gave to them the other day for Christmas. The computer didn't work, so I emailed Blair Technology right away and was told that it would need to be returned for service, but since I ordered over 90 days prior the warranty was no longer void. Return shipment both ways would be my responsibility and therefore wasn't feasible. So, unless I can get it repaired, at my expense locally it is just trash. What a waste...don't try to save money by ordering anything from Blair Technology's through Amazon. Wish I read other reviews prior to my purchase...RIP OFF! read more

their refurbed desktop had a lot of problems - don't know what they did but only about half my software would run, the HD is constantly running and being accessed (and thus denying access or slowing down operations). It almost appears as if the OS is scattered between the HD and memory - don't get one of their units! read more
