I had an iPad 12.9'that needed the screen repaired. I placed the iPad with the guys at uBreakiFix…read moreand promptly lost my job. I will admit, it was some time before I made it back to pay for the repairs. It was $455 to repair and then purchasing the warranty with it. I took it home and the screen wouldn't turn on, so they told me to bring it back. Jordan helped me and began by stating, öh your the guy that left it here for a year. Yes, I was, and what difference does that make. Well the battery is more then likely dead from sitting here for so long. We will order a battery and give you a call sometime next week. I said fine. No one called the next week so I called them. Jordan again answered the phone and told me that they indeed had received the battery and that when hey had a few extra hours, they would work on it. Come on Jordan, are you really that perfect? Can you cut a guy some slack? Not everyone lives in your perfect world and I'm sorry my iPad took up so much space in your office for so long. I want to remind you, $455 for a screen repair isn't chump change to a lot of people. When you get down from your high horse, you could have made sure that my iPad worked before I took it home. You had plenty of time to make sure of it after all, a whole year, remember?

I took it back the next day and was told I needed to file another claim for this repair. The guy said it looked like there was a shard of glass under the protective cover they installed. They obviously screwed it up, so they should fix it. Beware of these crooks. Update: I called Asurion and they sent the order to fix the screen they messed up. They fixed the screen and installed the screen protector that was on the damaged screen. You could see where the shard of glass was that broke the last screen. How are these people still in business.

I found ProTechs and called them up, and Cleo offered a charger for me to use. Super friendly, seem to have everything you could possibly need for computer repair or accessories. Definitely check them out! 10+ out of 10 for customer service for sure...

This business scammed me by charging me for an unauthorized service and then demanded payment for…read morework that I never gave the okay for. They also never asked me what the issue was that I was having and assumed very incorrectly about prior damage that had occurred more than a year prior. My computers worked perfectly after those spills because I was able to do a cleaning of them all those months ago. Their forced cleaning of my computers didn't resolve my issue at all because my actual issue was electrical issues we had been having in our home, and if they had asked me what problem I was having with them in the first place they would have known this and could have earned their money legitimately instead of scamming me for it. I ended up having to pay them $150 just to get my computers back with the same exact problem. The issue wasn't with them at all but was with the monitors. If they had spoken with me we could have figured this out before this unneeded cleaning service was forced upon me to pay for. I signed up for a free diagnostic and then he called to tell me I owe $69.99 per computer. What a scam! The front desk gentleman is very nice, but the actual repairman is a scammer. They also won't refund me the money! So now I have to buy new monitors which is more than $150 on top of the forced cleaning fees! Unbelievable! This is shady business and they shouldn't be allowed to keep scamming people. At first I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought this was only a misunderstanding, I reached out very kindly to explain all of this and ask for my money back. They only ignore me like I don't exist anymore. Of course, because he knows he scammed me!
