I am not an Apple computer user, but use their iPad and iPhone exclusively. Last week I had a nasty trip and fall in my driveway, tripping and doing a full-face plant.  My neighbor was outside mowing his lawn and he immediately called an ambulance once he saw all the blood flowing from my face. I ended up being taken via ambulance to the hospital where after regaining consciousness I ended up with over 30 stiches in my face, nose, and a broken nose in several places. My iPhone was in my pocket at the time of my fall, and the screen was destroyed but the phone was still functional, although many of the items were unreadable.  Due to the severity of my injuries, I was given a head CT scan to check for a brain bleed and a chest x-ray, and as luck would have it, they also found a lump in my lung, which might prove to be cancerous (I have never smoked in my life). Having a functional phone was now a matter of life and death, as I had to make follow up appointments and needed to schedule a biopsy for my lung mass. This all happened last Wednesday the 14th. I considered simply buying a new phone (I have an older trusty iPhone model 6, which is perfect size wise for me and all the functionality I require), but instead opted to order a new screen and install it myself. I had previously installed a high-capacity battery with no problems after watching YouTube about 20 times and working carefully, step by step. Well as luck would have it, there was more damage to the interior of the phone (home button and audio cable) and due to my injury, I was having difficulty seeing clearly. Thus, I opted to try and find a local repair shop or just buy a new (used) phone, something I really did not want to do or could afford at this time. I came across Apple RX, and after reading some of the negative reviews was a bit apprehensive but felt worst case scenario, I would just get a new (used) phone if mine was not able to be repaired.  I went there this morning about 10:00 AM, and with my broken phone and various parts and screws, organized and separated into ziplocs, I asked if it could be made functional again.  The owner looked it over and within a few moments had my new screen installed, along with the replacement cables and a screen saver, all of which he did not charge me for.  The phone turned on and works perfectly.  The home button being generic does not recognize my fingerprint, but that is a minor inconvenience considering all that was done. Please read all the reviews and come to your own conclusions.  Following my repair, I was able to schedule the follow up appointments necessary for my well-being. Mobile phones have become a necessity in these times, and it is reassuring there is someplace I can trust for a fair and high-quality repair.  If I could, I would give six stars to help offset some of the negative reviews.  Thank you for all your help.  I sincerely appreciated it.

Then, they worked to get the old band slid off, cleaned off the band slots. This was done all while I was waiting. I am grateful for their excellent work and for the referall from ATT store. They also never asked me what the issue was that I was having and assumed very incorrectly about prior damage that had occurred more than a year prior. My computers worked perfectly after those spills because I was able to do a cleaning of them all those months ago. Their forced cleaning of my computers didn't resolve my issue at all because my actual issue was electrical issues we had been having in our home, and if they had asked me what problem I was having with them in the first place they would have known this and could have earned their money legitimately instead of scamming me for it. I ended up having to pay them $150 just to get my computers back with the same exact problem. The issue wasn't with them at all but was with the monitors. If they had spoken with me we could have figured this out before this unneeded cleaning service was forced upon me to pay for. I signed up for a free diagnostic and then he called to tell me I owe $69.99 per computer. What a scam! The front desk gentleman is very nice, but the actual repairman is a scammer. They also won't refund me the money! So now I have to buy new monitors which is more than $150 on top of the forced cleaning fees! Unbelievable! This is shady business and they shouldn't be allowed to keep scamming people. At first I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought this was only a misunderstanding, I reached out very kindly to explain all of this and ask for my money back. They only ignore me like I don't exist anymore. Of course, because he knows he scammed me!

He spent almost all night researching the computers I was thinking about and also told me the options I had for my Toshiba. He gave me advice about what new computer to buy - even though he wouldn't be making a penny if I went that route! I decided to let him fix my Toshiba. The hard drive was corrupted, RAM low, Video card failing. John gave me several options depending on how much I wanted to spend. When I asked him what he would do if it was HIS computer, he was totally honest. I decided to go the step up from what he would do and I am SO impressed with my computer again. I just ran a program that normally takes 1 1/2 hr and it was done in 20 minutes! MOST IMPRESSIVE - He quoted me a price before he started the real work on replacing parts. I asked if that included labor - yes. However, because of some of the programs I had loaded, he was up again almost all night transferring from my old hard drive to the new one. He knew I needed my computer back by a certain date to complete a project for work. Because I had to wipe and reload this computer once before, I know how frustrating some of those programs can be! BUT even with the extra time he had to put in, the original price quote DID NOT CHANGE! I will recommend MTS and John to everyone I know. Just sorry I didn't ask for several business cards to pass around. I will do that when I give him my daughter's computer to clean up.
