I was changing my desktop out from an antiquated one to an up to date one. Not only was my system seriously outdated but my internet service was slower than dial up. I was impressed with his friendliness, his professionalism and the time he spent not only making sure things would work properly but even setting me up with a new provider. He was here for over 3 1/2 hours, patient to show me new things and I'd recommend him to anyone who needs on site help of any kind. This was probably the best technician I've ever had at an affordable price. My laptop (which is my life!) completely crashed about 4 pm on a Friday. I found MTS on my cell phone - they had a good rating on Google, so I called. Tech who answered my call agreed to send someone out within the hour (on a Friday late!!) I really appreciated that. The tech who arrived (within 30 minutes or so) was very friendly and efficient - he knew just what to try and in fact his first attempt got me back up so that I could back up my files until we figured out a permanent solution or repair. I have an external drive, but he came prepared to handle things if I didn't have something myself (which some people might not) - I appreciated that too! Extremely friendly and professional service. Used them today to fix the home computer that had a bad RAM memory stick. They came to my house and tried diagnosing the computer on site but had to take it with them to look at more detail. I received a call later in the afternoon that it was fixed and they brought it back this evening. Without a doubt , service above and beyond what i expected. Absolutely wonderful service. I used this company approximately 10 years ago when it was under different ownership. I called on a whim hoping they were still in business when my laptop unexpectedly crashed 2 days before finals. I dropped my laptop off on a Friday morning and it was returned running faster than the day I purchased it by 8pm the same day! The tech was extremely friendly and communicated with me throughout the day discussing problems he had found. I am AMAZED! John A. fixed my 5 year-old computer. Although I didn't let it crash, I knew it was close. Called asking for advice about rebuild or just buying a new computer. He spent almost all night researching the computers I was thinking about and also told me the options I had for my Toshiba. He gave me advice about what new computer to buy - even though he wouldn't be making a penny if I went that route! I decided to let him fix my Toshiba. The hard drive was corrupted, RAM low, Video card failing. John gave me several options depending on how much I wanted to spend. When I asked him what he would do if it was HIS computer, he was totally honest. I decided to go the step up from what he would do and I am SO impressed with my computer again. I just ran a program that normally takes 1 1/2 hr and it was done in 20 minutes! MOST IMPRESSIVE - He quoted me a price before he started the real work on replacing parts. I asked if that included labor - yes. However, because of some of the programs I had loaded, he was up again almost all night transferring from my old hard drive to the new one. He knew I needed my computer back by a certain date to complete a project for work. Because I had to wipe and reload this computer once before, I know how frustrating some of those programs can be! BUT even with the extra time he had to put in, the original price quote DID NOT CHANGE! I will recommend MTS and John to everyone I know.
