Went to get my split ends cut off as well as some layers and bangs. Everything was great, she did a great job on everything except the bangs. I just wanted simple straight down bangs that are more on the thin side. They are not straight and they just look very strange to me. She tried to thin them with the scissors vertical (unnecessary) and I believe that is what messed them up. They look awful. I love everything else but I went in there feeling ugly and came out feeling even worse. I should've trusted my instincts and showed her a picture since apparently "thin straight down straight across bangs" is too hard to understand. Paid $50 to look even worse, and they are impossible to fix. Edit: got home and looked at them more. They are SERIOUSLY messed up. Not only are they 1) not straight 2) half an inch shorter than I explicitly asked for, there are also some little sections that are half as long as the main bangs. I am SO mad. I JUST WANTED SIMPLE STRAIGHT ACROSS BANGS. Never EVER going back here. And I suggest you don't either. I am seething mad. edit 2: called the salon to tell them about what happened and to see if there's any way to fix it. Spoke to the stylist and she said I just have to wait for them to grow out and that it was a miscommunication. Offered me a discount on my next cut. I'm not as mad as I was at first but I'm still upset that they don't look the way I wanted them to. read more

I did not get anything near what I asked for. I do not recommend coming here for any "complex" coloring, especially with bleach. I was able to get into the shop regardless of their packed schedule however. I had 3 girls (Charity, Lindsay, and Paige) working on my hair at different times, and then all at once. The appointment was scheduled with Charity, but Lindsay began and did the first half of my hair. They all seemed very stressed and distracted... I am most bothered by their lack of an apology, let alone an offering for a fix/discount , because the result is very clearly not what I had requested. I saw this place on yelp and decided to make an appointment because I needed my hair cleaned up a bit. Got an appointment with Avery, and it was by far the best haircut and experience I've ever had. She is absolutely amazing. I plan on always coming back to her. She just focused on what she was doing and didn't bother with the awkward pleasantries, which was awesome. She was super friendly. It had been a very long time since I had a professional hair cut. Wanting to set up a quick appointment, (as I had to do it fast so not to run(!) was such a awesome experience. The young lady who answered was great and got me in within 10 minutes and gave me comfort knowing I had called the right place. She set me up with Missy!! Missy my stylist - "wow" can not even say enough about her - "awesome" and she cut inches off my long thin uneven hair and it is still long, feels thicker & healthier then I can even remember. She was so professional and could not of asked for a sweeter spirit to take away that fear of cutting my hair. In fact I'm thinking the next cut add some layers !!! Blades is as good as it gets. The owners Ed and his lovely wife Bernett are very genuine and really care about getting to know their clients on a personal level. Their staff is top notch and very professional. They offer scalp massages and they are amazing!! I took my girfriend there to get some serious help done as she put it. She had been using cheap hair dye layered over and over itself. Her hair color was naturally light brown and was currently BLACK BLACK. I still stand by my first review. However, this business has the utmost integrity that I needed to correct my review. The owner contacted me in a private message, extending her apologies. She offered me a refund which is very rare! When I wrote the review I did not expect compensation nor did I want the gal who did my lashes to be scolded. She wanted to get information about my experience, so she could use it as a learning experience to better educate her staff. I'm hoping the gal who did my lashes learned form her mistakes and will be better in the future. The owner genuinely cares about her clients whether they're 1st timers like me, or regulars. I have gotten my hair colored here a few times and Elisha and Jessica did a great job at the color. I made an appointment with Jessica to cut my hair. I cut off 12+ inches in August, I showed a picture of the style I wanted and it was done terribly. Brenette and Edward both tried to help her with the cut and by the time they were done, it looked nothing like the style I showed them. I was upset that I lost so much hair and the style was not what I wanted. They have lost my business, they knew I was unhappy with the cut when they were done and I still had to pay. I was told I could come back at a later day if I didn't like it to get them to fix it. But if Jessica and the owners couldn't get it then, I didn't want them to make my hair even shorter. read more

I love this salon. I have to admit, we had a relationship that was good, it was really good. They colored and cut my hair after surgery and made me look human again. Carmen is a great stylist with better prices than other more trendy salons in town, and better quality cuts too. I was referred to Ed the owner. Ed did not listen to what I wanted, instead was more concerned with ordering lunch. He cut my hair way too short, my bangs were uneven, when I complained he said its his first mistake in over 20 years and he would fix it. He cut more length off, refused to blow dry my hair, instead had an intern do it and charged me his high prices for a cut/color/highlights. A total of: $236! Upon reviewing the receipt when I got home, I realized he overcharged me according to his online price menu. I disputed with my credit card company. Ed refused to refund me any money. Do not ever go to this salon! It was the worst experience I've ever had. They are not reputable people. read more
