I have been going to Northside Salon for the past 3 years and I have never once been disappointed with the service requested, or the vibe of the salon. The salon is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, clean and organized every time I go. Everyone is always nice -- You can tell that they have a great work culture, and community there. I truly cannot imagine going anywhere else. I have always seen Makayla, she is a wonderful and talented hairstylist. My review really isn't even going to do her justice, really that's just how talented she is. Whether I come in with an idea for color/haircut or not, she's always ready to jump in and bring the idea to life or help me work through what I'm looking for. I usually request a balayage or highlight, and her balayage is truly artful-- like I do not have amazing natural hair color to start with by any means, and she makes it look great and really adds some great blonde tones. (Same goes for highlights) Since I've started going to her, I am guaranteed compliments. Makayla just in general is amazing. In addition to being skilled in hair, she is very communicative, has a lovely personality, is incredibly patient, respectful and always has thoughtful, as well as often funny, conversations. 10/10 love this place I will definitely be going back I made an appointment for my boyfriend and i and i was able to get in within the next hour not only were they fast they were very clean and had a good playlist going. Monique cut my hair she was so sweet really took her time she gave me the best head massage of my life and made my hair feel so light! My wife has been searching for a new place to get her hair done. She selected this place from its good Yelp reviews and reasonable pricing for hair services. Today she stopped in to ask about getting an appointment. The employees saw her come in the door. They made eye contact. But then, NO ONE helped her or asked her if she needed anything or said hello or said fuck off. Nothing. Every employee ignored my wife. She waited over 5 minutes while employees walked around her and ignored her. So, my wife left. She will NEVER return. If this is how you treat your prospective customers I hope you go out of business. ABSOLUTELY terrible customer service. read more

i'm new to the inland nw and needed a new salon, i'm SO happy i found Northside Salon. it's such a cute, clean and relaxing vibe inside, all of the stylists are kind and welcoming. Kiersten has done my hair multiple times now and she does such an amazing job! she took the time to understand my hair growth goals and has always left my hair feeling so soft and healthy after bleaching services. the salon is over 40 minutes from me and i think the trek is so worth it. definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new stylist. read more

If I could leave less than one star I would. Stylist did a poor job. Returned and showed the problem to the stylist who greeted me in the salon. She agreed the stylist didn't get it right. She scheduled a "fix" for me. When I returned for my fix, I was treated unprofessionally. No manager was available. I left with no fix. I requested a manager call me. That was a week ago. Not good people and not good hair. The girls that work there are worse than the high school clicks. They sit in the corner grouped up looking and pointing at you while whispering and laughing. Not even trying to hid their gossiping about their clients. The girl working on my hair only give me a partial balayage instead of a full! I called as a first time customer. They denied service for no reason, then hung up on me. I called back, insulted and confused, thinking they thought I was someone else. It didn't matter. Next thing I know the owner called me threatening the police for harrassment. They made me feel like a criminal when I had done nothing wrong. These ppl are crazy. read more
