    I went in for a consultation with Tiffany on 7/10 for a cut and color. I communicated that I have been experiencing a lot of breakage and damage after months of stress and a bad color experience 6 months ago. She asked my hair goal, which was to blend out my haircut into layers to hide the breakage and go for a light natural red. Exact words were "Nicole Kidman in practical magic". Tiffany told me that we could get to the light red over time but we'd start with a nice auburn. When I went back for my appt on 7/24, it was clear that my consultation was a waste of time. As you can see, my hair is deep brown and only shows a tint of red in direct sunlight. I hoped the color would wash out as vivid as it was applied but it did not, so I hoped the cut would save it. She barely took anything off before she started blowdrying it. I know some stylists like to cut more on dry hair so I let her blow dry it without saying anything and then when she finished and started taking my cape off I didn't know what to do. I could barely see the haircut because she added so much product and hairspray that my hair felt extremely sticky and crunchy. I couldn't run my fingers through my hair if I tried. I immediately went home to wash and try to restyle it. That's where I really saw that my hair had no layers and was just as uneven with breakage as before. This was pretty much the opposite of what I asked for and I was charged over $200. On top of that, instead of handing me off to a receptionist, she checked me out herself and asked if I was going to tip (but that I "didn't have to"). I of course tipped because 1. it's my hope that Tiffany did not intend to do the opposite of what I asked for but I also noticed that she did not try to reschedule me for any cut or color in the future and 2. She was checking me out herself. At no point did she ask if I was happy with the service or check in with me about my hair goals. I called the salon a couple hours after my appointment to try to see what could be done and was told someone would call me back. I got a call while I was at work and have called back 3x to try and resolve this and reached their voicemail. I had inspo pics - not that she asked for any and I didn't want to offend her by showing her when she didn't ask. If she was not comfortable working with damaged hair, I wish she would have communicated that to me or told me her limits. I am not interested in coming in again anytime in the future or trying to obtain reimbursement. It has been made clear through multiple other reviews and word of mouth that this is not a salon that is interested in conducting good business (despite the price) or creating a space where clients feel free to communicate openly. A lot of people have trouble advocating for themselves in the moment and it's important to check in with your clients multiple times to make sure things are on track. We are not hairdressers or stylists. We do not know what you are or are not capable of unless you explicitly state it. And if your clients aren't specific enough? Ask clarifying questions instead of assuming. There's no need for such ego when you're accepting money to complete a service.

    When i left the salon i was happy... I went in for a haircut and Katherine was very nice and listened to what i wanted. She ended up cutting off a bit more than i wanted but it was fine until i got home and took a shower and saw it unstyled. Its completely lopsided and uneven and the bangs she cut were supposed to fade into my hair but they don't, they're very blunt. Sad because this salon seemed so nice! I think Katherine is new because she didnt have any cards up front. Maybe the rest of the team is better? Won't be going back.

    Well, the color turned out ok. The hair cut, however, was monstrous. I had many people at work the next day ask what happened to it, a coworker took a picture to show me how bad it looked as I stood there. I called to get a fix, but as it was the same person who would be doing the 'fixing' I did not feel comfortable and I have decided to pay again somewhere else. A nightmare. Would not Recommend.

    Hannah is the BEST! She always gets my color spot on and I can't be more thankful for her art! She's also so kind and easy to talk to.

    First, the salon is beautiful. The space is modern and bright. The interior of the salon is more akin to a salon you'd see in a larger city and it's a gorgeous spot to spend an afternoon. Second, I scheduled a cut and color with Candace. She was wonderful and gave me realistic feedback on my hair goals. I have long, thick hair so coloring and cutting is no quick task, but I appreciated that Candace took her time. It really paid off, I'm happier with my hair than I've been in awhile. I told her I was looking for a subtle balayage and a trim. She explained the process and what tone the highlights would lift to. Due to the amount of hair I have the process took 3.5 hours, but it was stress-free since Candace told me what was going on. I showed her a pic of the cut and style I wanted at the beginning of the appointment. Three-and-a-half hours later, she remembers and doesn't even have to ask. Perfect blow-out. Perfect color. Perfect cut. Thank you Candace! Third, scheduling is a breeze. The salon is closed on Mondays, but they are always good about getting you in. My friend referred me to this salon and her stylist Samantha always does a great job. They also use nice products including Living Proof, Davines, and Goldwell. Fourth, don't underestimate the power of a haircut and some highlights to help make you feel beautiful and dare I say, lavish!

    Went back to my natural hair color!

    Passing through town and wanted to go back to my original dark hair. Great products, nice people, and a great job. I was only relying on yelp reviews and they did not disappoint! Thank you!
