I was referred to Danielle by a friend who is in the business herself in the Seattle area. I definitely have found the best salon for me. Danielle is an expert at extensions, color matching and cutting. The salon carries Kevin Murphy products which in my opinion are the best for my hair. Danielle takes her time and actually listens to you. She gives expert advice and has done a wonderful job changing my blonde hair color to a more beautiful blonde. I made an appointment with Danielle for a first time client hair cut. She was very attentive to my requests and my expectations. I have fine and thinning hair and I am a mature client. I was nervous having to find a new stylist as I am new to the area. She made me feel at ease and I am very happy with how our first cut went. Got a gift card for somebody for Xmas. They asked for my number, I declined. They asked for the name on the gift card, I gave it to them. This person had previously gone there. They sent them an email and a text saying they got a gift card and the amount, without my consent or knowledge- WHY??? Ruined the surprise. I booked at Craft Hair Studio my first ever blowout as I was attending a celebration of life that morning and had absolutely no ambition to get up and do my hair. Maybe my idea of a blowout is misconstrued, or maybe my hair just doesn't cooperate, either way I was definitely under impressed with the blowout I received. Now I will give credit where credit is due, and it was nice to have my hair shampooed and the curls in my hair did look good. However, there was absolutely no volume or "blowout" look with the end result. Ultimately, they were curls that I could have achieved at home while saving some money. The hairdresser who did my blowout was newly hired (within the past 4 months) and newly graduated from school (within the past 5 months). Now while I do have long, thick hair, it took roughly 75 minutes to shampoo, blow-dry, and curl my hair...I've had all this and a haircut performed in the same amount of time or less. Overall, I was sadly disappointed with the end result, especially with it being a look I could of achieved myself. read more

Before coming here I had 36 in. Long brown thick hair. I came in to a stylist for a trim and highlight. So 1. I asked for Carmel highlights. These aren't Carmel (but that's the least of my worries. 2. She put me under the heat and left bleach on my hair for too long, to the point now, 2 months later.. it is impossible to wash my hair without issues. It bunches up and tangles SO MUCH it has honestly made me HATE MY HAIR! This happened when the hairdresser washed my hair as well (the knots) and she tired getting the tangles out but half-assed it to the point where she'd come down with the comb as far as she can get the comb and snip snip snip. Which leads me to 3. Because she didn't properly untangle my hair that she messed up.. and decided to just snip wherever the comb went through it lead to a very very uneven cut. Joy... save your money don't go here if you need highlights done or actually like your hair. read more

Needed issues fixed immediately on next day of service. spent 250.00 on the service for it To fall out literally within 3 days of service. this service is supposed to last 6-8 weeks - unprofessional manager who refused to make it right or give back refund. on top of it all- after all the frustration of it not getting resolved a stylist named a heather got physical with me in attemp to remove my from salon- and threat to call police. unfortunately Abby needs to perfect her CRAFT before advertising as a professional. My wife and I stopped by Dry Fly tasting room yesterday to check out their spirits. We had heard really good stuff about them and everything we heard was true. After we were done we walked through the building checking out all the business. I was planning on getting a haircut because I hadn't had a cut since moving from Seattle this past November. As we came around the corner from the distillery we saw that there was a salon offering $19 haircuts for men. I had been going to Rudy's Barbershops for the last 3 years and paying $40 after a tip, so a $19 haircut made me skeptical about how good it would be, but willing to give it a go because of how inexpensive it was. I figured I would just keep wearing my hat until it grew back if them messed it up. They got me right in with a barber/stylist named Hunter. I think he had a free hour and came in to do some cuts just when I arrived. He greeted me and was super nice, but not what I expected when it comes to someone that cuts hair. He was just a normal guy that looked like he was in his early 20's. I don't like to judge a book by its cover but I was skeptical. I'm not precious about my hair in any way, but I have super fine hair and a bunch of cowlicks. It's a pain in the butt for barbers/stylists to make it look normal and this guy didn't look like he had much experience. I couldn't have been more wrong He was good! I think he said he had grown up in a salon and had been cutting hair since he was young. It showed. He did exactly what I asked for but better. He educated me on how I should take care of my hair and made suggestions on what would make my idea of what I was asking for better. I have never had a barber/stylist pay such close attention to the details of my hair. I was there for 30-35 minutes and got a haircut, shampoo and style. It was awesome! Especially for $19. Lol! I'll definitely be making an appointment with Hunter again. I'm pretty sure he might be a hair genius. Make an appointment with him if you get a chance. read more

Cannot comment on hair services since I was never able to get in, but they are very unorganized and have poor customer service. My usual salon closed and I was looking for a new salon. I get my hair colored/highlighted every three weeks, a haircut every six weeks, and frequent blowouts, so this is a big investment. I booked a blowout online at Craft to check them out. About 40 minutes before the appointment, I got a call asking if I could push off the appointment for 30 minutes since the previous client was taking longer than expected. I agreed, but when I got there and found out that the blowout would take a full hour, had to cancel so that I could get back to work for a meeting (the original booking time would have been perfect.) I rebooked for noon the next day, and got an email a few minutes later, and a separate invite onto my Google calendar. I confirmed the appointment by email, but only realized later that day that the booking was set for 12-1 AM, not PM. I showed up at noon anyway, and was told that the appointment was for 1 PM, which did not match the appointment email at all. Craft was unable to fit me in (again), and kept insisting that they had made the appointment for 1 PM, which I would not have done since I had a 2 PM meeting in the office. They were unapologetic, and only offered to reschedule yet again. I'm not willing to try again, there are plenty of other salons that are willing to accommodate. read more

I went here two weeks ago for the first time and originally wanted my hair BLACK with two simple money pieces.... I paid close to $300 for an "all over color and a balayage" when I left I was upset cause my hair was literally the EXACT SAME. I have connections to the director Michael so I got in contact with him directly about the situation..... unfortunately to fix it and comp it he had to have the SAME lady there Desiree be the one to fix her mistake, so I gave it another chance with high hopes since she'd be watched over many the director himself. She ended up turning my hair green Along with 4 other colors in my hair?! Again all I wanted was an all over color of black and 2 simple money pieces yet even the second time around my hair was not black at all.... I expressed how much it was wrong after sitting in the chair for 5 hours the second time around and she had the audacity to say "well at least you're not paying for this services" and my response was no but I already paid $270 and on top of that you're killing my hair.
