So glad I took a chance on this salon! No website but several good reviews on Yelp. Now I understand that all the stylists at this salon are independent contractors who lease their space. My regular salon closed during covid so I had to find a new one. Was looking for a gentle perm and cut... only a couple places in town even do perms ‍. Kayla got me right in within a couple days and she did an amazing job! So hard to trust new stylists but she made sure to talk everything through with me before doing anything (which is surprisingly hard to find!). She did a really cute perm with two different size rods and alternating directions in order to make it look natural and cut it to a pixie style exactly how I wanted. She was thorough and very gentle on my hair, which I appreciated since I just had a baby 4 months ago and am currently in the "shedding" phase. Go see Kayla, you won't regret it! read more

Kari is a hair goddess. I have received more compliments on my hair since she started working with me than EVER before. She listens to you and makes sure to dial in what you're goals are BEFORE starting anything (trust: this isn't always the case! I have plenty of tragic hair stories.) Besides being an all around wizard on color and cut, Kari is also amazing to chat with while you're in the chair. The whole salon has a friendly, welcoming vibe to it. It is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. They always have great music playing, offer you a beverage and I have never, ever felt like I didn't belong (also not always the case. plenty of salons in town that make you feel like you're not "cool" enough to be their customer). read more

Went to the tattoo artist Helena at this location. Unfortunately it was a bad experience pre paid her which was my first mistake. I show up to our appointment that was scheduled for quite sometime and she was not there so after messaging and waiting for about a half hour she messaged me back asking if we could reschedule outside of my availability (I had driven over a hour to this appt) I replied that I was not available then so she said I could wait for her to show up she stated she would be there in 10 minutes I waited 45 minutes and then got inside and had to wait for her to draw my design which she had me under the impression she had that done. So after I message asking to be on the schedule for the time I still had pre paid for, after a while she schedules me and then cancels day of. I reach out for her to reschedule the appt she cancelled and crickets for a while , I finally heard from her when I requested my money back on Venmo. She try's to offer a appointment that is very far out (normally if the artist cancels in my experience they will try to get you in at the soonest next appointment) which based on my experience would probably be cancelled by her. She let me know that she will not refund my money for the work I paid for and she didn't do Been trying to get this pre paid work done since march. read more

As someone new in town it's always hard to find a reputable and experienced hairdresser, prior to moving here I had a recommendation by someone to get a quick haircut and it was horrible. Upon looking at reviews I chose Kayla and I'm so thrilled that I did. After a fairly in-depth consultation , not just my bad haircut but having alopecia we came up with a plan. I cannot speak highly enough about Kayla she did an excellent cut and style, I so appreciated that she took time and explained what she was doing and also how to upkeep it. This place was such a sweet find! I contacted the salon and I was able to schedule an appointment with no problems at all. The hairstylist, Kayla, was awesome. She inquired about what my hair looked like and what I wanted her to do. For this specific appointment I was looking to get my hair trimmed a little bit and for a hair color. I have thick coarse hair and I usually like to wear it short, very much like a pixie cut. This hair style can be tricky, often resulting is poor blending, uneven length, and a blocky look. When I went to intuition, Kayla was very friendly and asked a lot of questions about my hair, which was great. The coloring process was easy and painless as She did an all over coloring (purple highlight on black hair). She also knew exactly how to cut my hair, given its disobedient personality, and took her time. My experience was overall laid back and fun. The price was appropriate for the quality haircut that I received. This is definitely a place to go if you are wanting to diverge away from the corporate salons and have a desire to seek out your new long term stylist. read more

Love this new place! I've been seeing Hilary for 3 years now with my pixie short hair and I have never been happier! I wasn't sure if I could pull off color with super short hair but Hilary did an amazing job today! I have over all color with some copper highlighted pieces and it's so shiny, subtle, and well blended. Intuition has free parking, a big sign out front, and an adorable interior space. I felt so comfortable and right at home here. I would definitely recommend this salon and Hilary to everyone! read more
