Great personal interaction at the front desk and a very skilled therapeutic massage by Naomi.

Ask the Community - Elements Massage

How much for an hour session?

Hi Philip! If you have never been in to see us we give a $10 discount to our new clients. For a 1 hour session it would be $109. We also offer a monthly membership with no contracts or fees that would drop the price to $89. We hope to see you soon!

To give a thorough review, I have to explain some of my history…read more I have a lot of pain from two different car accidents that happened within a couple of months of each other, over 20 years ago. I also have fibromyalgia and am a breast cancer survivor. My lower and mid back, hips, and shoulder blades are in a constant hum of pain. I also have a lot of fascia adhesions due to breast cancer surgeries. I felt that my body was broken and being pain free wasn't an option for me. I've been to many massage "therapists" to no avail. I went to see Amber at a suggestion from a friend. Amber greeted me warmly and professionally. Her therapy is in her home- which is clean and inviting. Her therapy room is private and cozy. Amber went over my history right before we started the first massage. She listened to my pain and trauma history and later followed up with feeling it with her hands. She told me several times when a certain spot wasn't quite right and sure enough, it was a tender spot for me. It was insane how she was able to find the exact spots that needed the most work without me having to direct her to those spots. I add on the hot Himalayan salt stones and the cbd oil to all of my massage sessions. I highly recommend those two things. I spend two hours in a lot of pain- at Amber's hands. But those hands of hers have made healing happen in my body. She coaches me through the pain and stops every time I need a break. She has been able to get rid of the persistent butt/hip pain I had for over a year and a half. It affected the way I walked and slept. I nearly cried because it had been so long since I could walk without hip pain!! I have continued to see Amber and yes, the type of massages I get from her is to release the adhesions and trauma built into my body so it hurts during the massage, but in the following days, my body has less pain, more range of motion, and the best thing of all, I have HOPE again that my body can heal with continued work with Amber. I have never, ever thanked someone so much to put me in a world of hurt that later yields less pain. I should add, the world of hurt she puts me through? It's not because she is rough or going too hard! In some areas of my body, a concentrated light pressure makes me writhe in pain because the adhesions I have are awful. But after the adhesions are broken up, it's less painful. Over more time, I expect it to dissipate. Amber is a MIRACLE WORKER! Lastly, I have not met any other therapist like Amber. She truly cares for her clients. When I told her I was finally pain free and able to walk normally again, she teared up. She cares about my healing and journey to being pain free. She has a lot of compassion along with her tremendous amount of knowledge for the modalities of therapies she employs. I love that she also continues to learn and expand her knowledge base to help me and her other clients. I shout her praises to anyone that will listen and I will not be changing therapists anytime soon because she is THAT GOOD. I look forward to each and every massage therapy session because I know it only helps heal my body. I can't thank Amber enough.

I'm generally hesitant to go to someone's house for a service, but her dedicated room is cozy and…read morewelcoming. I have been to so many massage places, but none of them compare to Amber. She is a phenomenal massage therapist. Her kinesiology background shines as she customizes each massage to meet my aches and pains. Her sports massage is top tier and provides so much relief for me. When you say deep tissue you're going to get it. She also provides CBD as an option for the massage, which I highly recommend. If you are looking for someone who is passionate about massages and the benefits they have for mobility and well being I can't recommend Amber enough.

I have worked out with many fine coaches over the years, including while playing college-level…read moresports. But I have *never* encountered anyone with Stephen Lay's blend of knowledge (anatomy, exercises), ability to motivate and inspire, human psychology acumen, etc. Working with him has vastly improved my life, and re-opened doors I thought were closed for good. To take one of several examples, Stephen's analysis of problems in my lower back and R big toe, which had led a couple MDs to advise me not do long runs anymore, and the exercises Stephen proposed to correct them, helped me get back to running in just a couple weeks. Stephen keeps up with the latest in exercise techniques and sports medicine, so you know his information is up-to-the-minute; for those who are into the minutiae, he can recommend great books, articles and web resources to dig deeper. He also knows how to tailor his workouts to every age group, so as to join forces with (rather than wrestle against) Father Time. Plus he is a master massage therapist, so you can warm down after a workout in his capable hands -- or substitute an hour of pure bliss on the massage table, on those days when your body isn't quite up to a workout. In short: Highest possible marks to his Wise Works Fitness and its leader Stephen Lay, as a consummate sports professional, but also as a uniquely fine person, who continues to expand my mind and enrich my life on many levels.

Highly recommend. In my 60s, soon to be 70, I noticed I was losing upper body strength and whatever…read moretone I once had. My wife found Steve Lay on the Internet. He has been perfect for me because he has built up my body strength. He has been very sensitive to not overworking me, partly because I still think I am in my 30s or 40s and can hit it hard, which he recognized I shouldn't and can't. He is also a very good communicator and teacher (about various muscles and such). I was positively surprised with the quality of his gym and the variety of exercises he runs me through. I actually look forward to working out. Plus, he has provided me the discipline and motivation to keep at it.
