Mel is a dream. I hadn't had my hair done in seven months because of a certain situation my hair was breaking and having issues but I decided to get extensions and Mel matched everything perfectly. She also did color match with the foils and it blends and looks absolutely beautiful. The salon was really great. Everything she did was wonderful. Salon is light and bright. Everyone is very friendly. It's very clean so pretty! They even gave me a glass of wine so what else can I say? It's a wonderful place, love Mel I would highly recommend it. read more

I would not recommend this salon and will not be returning. I spent over $5,000 on laser hair removal treatments, and unfortunately, I saw no improvement whatsoever. In fact, my results were the complete opposite of what I was promised. Instead of reducing my hair growth, it seemed to stimulate it. The hair grew back thicker, coarser, and in some areas even appeared to grow in doubles. When I expressed my concerns, I was repeatedly told that I simply needed more treatments. After investing thousands of dollars with no results, that explanation was incredibly disappointing. At some point, there should be honest conversations about whether the treatment is actually working instead of continuing to recommend additional sessions. Beyond my experience with the laser treatments, I also felt the overall quality of the salon fell short of the image it tries to present. The level of professionalism, service, and expertise did not meet my expectations. If you're considering medical aesthetic treatments, I personally had a much better experience at Crafted Beauty. Their staff has been far more knowledgeable, professional, and attentive, and the overall atmosphere reflects a much higher standard of care. This was an expensive lesson, and I hope my experience helps others make an informed decision before investing their money. read more

Yesterday was my third time going to Luxe, and it will not be my last! Claire has done my hair the best I have ever had it done! Claire is very knowledgeable, friendly, and it is a joy to be in her chair. She has always steered me right, and when I leave the salon I feel 100x better than when I walked in. During my appointment I overheated and became nauseated, and Claire went above and beyond to make me comfortable and feel better. My name is Karen Scott and I recieved the worst haircut of my life at this salon. I showed the stylist a picture of the cut I wanted which was a long shag with long bangs. Instead she chopped my bangs off to the middle of the top of my head, cut my hair in weird lengths that cannot be styled at just past shoulder length. It's hideous. As far as the service goes, everyone and I mean, everyone here is really nice from the front desk offering you a Mamosa or coffee or water. To any of the assistance that help the stylus. Super friendly, knowledgeable, gentle with your hair. Offer tips and advice as far as hair products, color treatments after care and styling. A previous reviewer was saying that her hair slipped // well they give you aftercare for specific reasons you have to use extension brush if you don't, it will slip do not use conditioner on your scalp etc. Your stylus gives you those guidelines for a reason. I have been going here for several years and my hair has never been healthier!! The girls specialize in different styles of braids, wedding hair, blowouts, and trendy hair styling, and they keep up-to-date on hair education. Their foiling hair technique is subpar to many salons I used to go to in Spokane. Some of the other services offered. Micro-needling, facials, chemical peels, derma, fillers, botox, derma planning, hydro facials, vitamin shots, lashes, waxing, laser, skin, rejuvenation, brow, lamination, makeup services, and Laser Hair removal. Beware of massage therapy here, they will treat you terribly. I was hesitant to explain my experience because of how uncomfortable the entire situation was, But I do feel the need to speak out because it was genuinely one of the worse experiences I've ever had in my life with a massage therapist. Her name was robin and she was extremely rude, treated me like I was an inconvenience and was very short with me. It was bad vibes all around which is something you never ever want to experience with a massage therapist. I tried to give her a chance but there was extreme tension in the air the entire time, I ended up having to ask her to stop 20 minutes into the massage and I left luxe crying. I tried to get thru the uncomfortable situation but no matter what I tried, being friendly to her, talking to her, I eventually started crying uncontrollably because she was so uncaring and created an extremely uneasy environment with her passive aggressive behavior the entire time. She didn't even ask me what I wanted done, where my problem areas were. She just told me to undress and asked what I don't want massaged. It was truly terrible.. I already had so much horrible things going on in my personal life the last thing I needed was my massage therapist, a very intimate situation to have an extremely rude and condescending attitude towards me, talking down to me in front of everyone in the lobby I mean, it was just insane. I still can't believe it. All of this rude behavior I'm assuming was because she was so mad that I didn't get a chance to fill out paperwork before my appointment, I had to do it in the lobby of luxe. Which I guess in her head, was a good enough reason to treat me and talk to me as if I'm a child that was a inconvenience and waste of her time and not a grown adult that deserves respect and kindness as a paying customer. Not the place for a "glow up". I needed a serious hair update, and I will say that maybe I didn't "customer" right, but the salon should have been able to ask clarifying questions if I wasn't clear. I explained that I had to pick up my kids from school at a specific time but if the appointment wouldn't be finished by then, I could arrange a pick up. I was assured that an hour and a half was plenty of time to highlight and cut my hair. The service cost almost $400. The highlights were basically unnoticeable and the "cut" was a trim from the bottom of my hair while I stood there without any shaping and then it was check out. She walks me to the counter and says, by the way, that's a two-hour appointment for that service and walks away as if I should have known that even though I communicated my time restriction. Afterward, I messaged the manager not to complain but to explain what happened. They had me in for another appointment within a couple of days and that appointment had the results that I expected from my first appointment but that was the manager, and I doubt I would get a regular appointment like that. The front desk had trouble with scheduling, weren't clear on the cost of description of services. I tried to cancel the appointment beforehand and there was a lot of confusion about if/how much I would be charged for canceling. But at the appointment, they seemed confused by that but then also had to ask for help running my card because they've had so much turnover at the front desk that only the technicians know how to work on the computer system. It was odd. The price and place are very high end and I'm sure they do have excellent services and products but that was not my experience. I would be very uncomfortable going back, it was very clear everyone in the building knew who I was before I got there for the 2nd appointment and it was uncomfortable. A great place to maintain an established look, I'm sure. But again, not the place for a new look or a change of style. read more

Honestly the worst customer service I've ever had in a hair salon. I had a 15 minute hair extension consult and they made me wait almost an hour in the lobby before I was seen. Really poor time management on their part for someone like me who had to hire a babysitter for this appointment. Unfortunately felt mean girl vibes from nearly everyone there because I got side-eyes from most of the workers. Also if anyone else is considering getting extensions from here they were gonna charge me $2600 for 2 wefts which comes with a dye and all the other typical extras plus an extra $460 every 8-10 weeks and another $150 for removal. She told me they could last almost a year with proper care so you're looking at dedicating over $5500 for a year if that's in your budget. Listing that here for anyone else wondering what the price range could be for you. Maybe I would have considered it more if the appointment didn't start off on a bad note. Overall, have to say I agree with the other negative comments listed in the reviews. read more

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT GET EXTENSIONS HERE! They're great at taking your money initially, but won't take any of your concerns into account or any responsibility. I paid for extensions and had them installed end of December. They slipped on one side a couple weeks later and when I reached out I was told it's probably because that's the side I sleep in. I sleep in my left side since I'm pregnant and they had slipped on the right side. I shrugged it off and was seen by her assistant about a week or so later for a fix. They slipped again but I wasn't able to make it to my next appointment which I cancelled 4 days in advance. I understand the stylists are super busy however it becomes frustrating as a client to speak to the front desk and be told a stylist will contact me to make an appt and then not have my message relayed. It took several days for a stylist to reach out and one I hadn't met yet so that was also a bit confusing. Our schedules weren't aligning and I was told that they should have gone over their schedules with me at my initial visit, which didn't happen. I ended up on a different extension teams schedule. After all this my extensions completely fell out! I called to make sure this new team had enough time on their schedules to put them back in and time vs just lifting and a tone. I also was concerned with how my hair was blended since it's so fine to begin with once the extensions fell out my hair was beyond thinned out. The manager I spoke to said the owner would take a look and provide suggestions, this all sounded great to me. Here's where it went really south... I brought up I wanted a refund for two services I purchased during their holiday sale since they didn't put a disclaimer you can't use while pregnant or breastfeeding. I'm currently in my third trimester and plan on breastfeeding. I was told they are non refundable and I pushed back since they did not provide a disclaimer. The manager seemed upset and put me on a brief hold. Megan the owner came on and said she would refund me for those two services (I'm waiting to see those refunds) then said she thought it was best to cancel all my future appointments since it didn't seem like a "good fit". I have invested over $2000 in my extensions for them to have failed multiple times within two months! I just wanted them fixed! I think anyone in my position would be a little upset and want them to stand by their work but they don't! Oh and I'm not getting any money back from the failed extensions. I've had extensions multiple times in life and have NEVER had these kinds of issues or been treated soooooo poorly! read more

I got my powder brows done by Meg at Luxe. She did an absolutely fabulous job! I am obsessed with my new Powder Brows. Meg was great at giving me information for the whole process/appointment. I've been wholly identified in my role as a Mom for the past 8 years, and it's been 4 years since I've colored my hair! I booked an appt with Emily, who got me in for a cut and color consult. She was kind and knowledgable. From there, I scheduled a tonal color. When I arrived, I learned that I had scheduled the wrong process, but they grabbed an extra assistant and got me going! When I finished, the result wasn't quite what I was looking for. The owner and Emily took some extra time to go over what would be possible to bring what I had hoped for to life, and I was able to schedule another appt the same week. At the next appt, Emily greeted me and got to work! The final result is even better than what I had initially wanted! I feel so beautiful, listened to, and cared for. Ohmygosh Josie is the cutest esthetician ever! I scheduled an appointment for the October special...pumpkin peel and hydrofacial. The hydrofacial was perfection. The only disappointment was (which I didn't realize until after) that I didn't get the pumpkin peel and I think I was charged the normal hydrofacial price. Nonetheless go see Josie she's an absolute delight and is super knowledgeable! Update from above review: Megan the owner followed up with me. A) she's the nicest sweetest person; and B) can we say amazing customer service??? I was really impressed with how seriously they take a their customer's experience at Luxe. I went here a year and a half ago, got my hair cut and colored by Jordan, who did such an amazing job. The only reason why I haven't been back since is because I haven't had the money to. It is pricey but they are honestly worth it. I also have long, thick hair so I know that affects the price too. I got a beautiful hair cut, highlights and lowlights and a color melt and toning and it took her several hours to do and it was worth every penny. I was so happy with my hair. I really stressed that I wanted the grow-out to be low maintenance and look good, and even a year and a half later I am STILL getting compliments on my hair, which is wild. I am definitely going back here again in the near future now that I'm not flat broke anymore. I love this place and I can't wait to make another appointment!! read more

TDLR: Dude gave me a half assed hair wash and cut my hair and undercut very crooked. Called to see if they could fix, girl on the phone never apologized(sounded more annoyed than anything), said she would talk to the manager and then never called back. My normal stylist moved away and i have been searching to find someone new. I went in to get a A line bob with an undercut, and am so so disappointed with it and my experience. The salon was very nice. The guy that cut my hair was friendly, but didn't seem to put in much effort. He barely washed my hair (the best part of getting a cut, my previous stylist did a neck and shoulder massage as well with the wash for the same price.) When we sat down I told him what I wanted, and that I have a natural side part so I would want it placed correctly before we did the cut. He did my undercut, and it turned out super crooked, and he said he couldn't do any shaved lines or designs because he didn't have the "special clippers" for it. He then started cutting my hair with the middle part that he used to line up the undercut, seemed like he realized it part way through, had to flip it to the correct part, and then made my hair shorter to compensate. There is no A line at all. The cut and undercut are crooked as all hell, not at all even, and shorter in the front than in the back which is the literal opposite of what I wanted, and I look like coconut head. I got the confidence to call the next day and tell them about my experience and that I wasn't happy with that i got, but I was leaving the next morning and would either need to get in ASAP to fix it, or it would have to be the following week(either was fine.) She was not at all apologetic, and said she would need to talk with her manager about if we could get me in to fix it and that she would call me back as soon as she got an answer. She never called me back. Thankfully my boyfriend could fix the undercut at home and make it even, and also give me a few shaved lines as design(normal clippers) but the cut is still awful. It's too short to really do anything with at this point, and since I'm working from home I'll just grow it out a bit. Overall I had a pretty negative experience and will absolutely not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. read more

We left this salon after the person in charge of my hair fried it, didn't listen to what I wanted and then left in the middle of my appointment for an interview with one of her beauty contracts. I can't remember her name, but she is putting diversification of her business way ahead of client care. I am sad because it started out as a great experience but the entire culture here is moved into get them as blonde as possible, and then get them to buy all of our products and make money off of them... I said that I wanted to go a little darker for the fall, and I ended up being super blonde with dead ends. We have since moved salons to something much more inviting. What's sad, is that I went to the salon despite the rumors I had heard of people feeling this way. Lesson learned I guess. But I hope they figure it out, because they will lose so many clients read more

I've lived in the CDA/Spokane area for close to 4 years and have been flying to LA to get my hair done by my usual stylist because I was so scared to try anyone new. I came across Luxe on Instagram and stalked their work for months. I finally decided to pull the trigger and book an appt after my expensive LA stylist went a little too heavy with the dark brown and I was really unhappy with the result. The salon is beautiful! Everything is modern glam, incredibly clean and bright. Jordan was incredibly pleasant and had a sense of humor when I told her I had not been to another stylist in about 7 years. "No pressure." I showed Jordan some pictures of dark balayage styles and she nailed it! The salon uses a lot of milkshake products which I LOVE! Bonus, Jordan also had a Drybar Buttercup blow dryer and one of best curling irons. I went from being pretty unhappy with my hair to very happy, and even more happy to finally find a place locally! Everyone in the salon is so nice and all the stylists are very pretty. Definitely coming back! read more

I have lived in the Spokane area for almost 5 years now and it took me almost 4 years to find a salon that i love and Luxe is just the place! I had very dark brown hair, almost black that had been salon dyed as well as box dyed and wanted to add some blonde in.
