Salon is overcrowded, too many stylist stations crammed into the store, which makes it difficult for customers to get around without ducking and turning sideways. Prices aren't too extreme for a haircut 50 to 60.00 depending. They do ask for a tip when you pay, I think that's tacky. I know how to tip and if I am happy with my hair experience I will leave one. Nice building, lots of parking. Beautiful shopping area. Easy walk-in salon if you aren't requesting a specific person. Of course friendliness varies person to person, as is life. She's very skilled, super gentle with my hair, and just a genuinely kind person. I'm new to the area and feel really lucky to have found her. I stopped by the salon the day before just to ask about a consultation (I didn't see her, the receptionist just told me that Tera will do the consultation), and within 30 minutes, Tera called me and left a voicemail letting me know she had an opening the next day. I really appreciated how proactive she was. During the appointment, she took the time to explain how each treatment works and how to space them out so my hair stays healthy. She's not only great at what she does, but also really helpful and informative. Highly recommend booking with her. Please ask for Tera! :)

He is genuinely a nice guy and has such creativity. The South Hill location was closer for me, but I'll drive the distance to have Grant cut my hair, for sure! I have had Grant color my hair too (which was fantastic), but I'm going natural now and just letting that grey happen. Although that could change in the future (haha). Scheduling an appointment is also super easy, and I can usually schedule in the next week or so (since I'm one of those "oh geez, I need a haircut now" type people).

Hi, My wife came in…read morerecently for a full color. (I will leave her name anonymous as I don't want her to know I'm leaving this review. She was too embarrassed to say anything). An employee named Brittany ended up doing her hair, and she completely butchered it. I'm gonna be honest, I've seen my wife with some pretty bad hair styles, and this one was BY FAR the worst. Brittany obviously didn't have a clue what she was doing. Aside from the actual hair styling itself, I was made aware that Brittany made my wife extremely uncomfortable. She was very rude, arrogant, bad talking her fellow employees, etc. my wife came home crying and filled me in on this entire experience. Fast forward a few days, my wife went in to another salon to get her hair "fixed." They informed her that her hair was so damaged / fried that they ended up having to take a few inches off to make it look even slightly better. I normally don't leave reviews, but I highly advise against booking with Brittany! TERRIBLE!
