I had never had anything waxed before so I was super nervous. She put me completely at ease and not only did she do my brows, but I asked her to do my chin, too. The atmosphere at The Healing Hut is calm, caring and luxurious. The next week, after the event, I booked another appointment with Alisha to do more of my face and my belly. I'm a hairy critter, what can I say? ;) Alisha again completely took care of me and put me at ease. I booked another appointment right after. I love the convenience of the location, too. Lots of street parking nearby and close to my favorite deli. Another reason to love The Healing Hut? Loni, the owner, goes above and beyond to service all clients there, even if they are not hers. Then I tried threads and they snapped within hours and left a pea sized bump on each side of my forehead for over six months.Angela said it was my body. The threads left a giant scar on my face, people ask if it was from chicken pox. They are required to fix their mistakes but instead Angela charged me more! Eventually I tried another med spa and both my filler and Botox worked great and lasted a long time. I have now been to three different med spas who know Renew because they are constantly fixing their mistakes. I look in the mirror at the damage they did and cry. I only wanted to improve my self esteem and it ended up costing me permanent damage. Well, I was driving to my appointment and got a call only about 30 minutes prior to my appt. time. My phone went to voicemail and the voicemail left said my appt was canceled bc the "girl that was scheduled to do my lashes had a family emergency." I was already on my way there so I decided to go anyway just in case. The woman there didn't know anything about this family emergency, but she did see my appt on the books with Cyarra.
