It is with great sadness that I write this letter. I had hoped that Dr. Stiller and I would have this resolved so I would not have to post this letter and photos. However, I gave him 2 weeks to respond to me and I haven't heard a word, so I must make this post in order to protect the innocent public from being harmed.
If you are thinking of a procedure with this man, please read my letter to him below. It was too long for this column, so it's been clipped at the red dashes, but not a single word has been changed. The photographs have not been enhanced in any way whatsoever. Everything is self-explanatory. You can decide for yourself whether you want this man operating on you. He never told me he would slice my eyes wide open at the corners, or I would never have allowed this surgery. I have been mutilated and I do not believe he cares. I apologize that I have had to mask my identity due to my work, but I believe Geoffrey Stiller has been counting on just that reason I would not post. I have not wanted to do this, but I must alert the public. Here is my letter:

Dear Geoffrey,
It is with extreme regret that I write to you. You have completely mutilated my face. The implants have been placed lop-sided. My right one is near the eye, high and horizontal, while the left one is lower and at an angle. You pushed the right one so far back it is almost to my hairline. I have 2 knobs jutting out the sides of my head, in front of my ears ---It looks very unnatural and orangutang-like. --- There is no artistic talent whatsoever in this work. --- In my wildest dreams I never thought anyone could be so incompetent. This was not a major facelift. It will have to be re-done by someone who knows what they are doing and has an artistic sense. --- I am making arrangements to have this corrected as soon as I have healed enough to be able to withstand more surgery.
Actions speak much louder than words. Although you may pretend to be caring, your total lack of concern in mutilating a face shows your true self. You said, "I don't go through mouth," with your cavalier attitude. May I remind you of the Hippocratic oath: ---I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.
Did it ever occur to you why standard cheek implant surgery is through the mouth? That is to minimize scarring, keloids and the dangers of cutting into the eye. You are too lazy to take a little extra time to go through the mouth and your patients are paying the price for an unnecessarily traumatic and disfiguring surgery, leaving us deformed. I wonder how many other people you have harmed--- Your sloppy, non-symmetrical incisions are dreadful to look at. Your even sloppier sutures have created 3 keloids under my eyes which may never go away. I have never seen anything like this. We are talking about the face, not some hidden area of the body such as the crotch. People sit looking at each other in meetings or dinner an hour or two. ---
Your incision into the left corner of my eye has pulled the skin so tight that my left lower lid does not come into contact with the sclera of the eye so that there is a permanent gap to the open air where the inside of my eye is visible and bacteria can easily penetrate the eye. Because of this space, I can't close my left eye completely. Whenever I shampoo, it gets into my eye. This could be the reason for the infection on my left side.
At my 1 week post-op exam, you did not take me seriously when I said I had an infection in the left cheek area. ---By October 28, 2022 my cheek was swollen and I had a black eye. ---The incisions you made, cutting right into the corners of my eyes have left 1-inch long scars out to the tip of my eye brows. This is a huge risk no one should ever take! A person's eyesight could be lost. I will have to have this surgically corrected. ---Cheek implants are normally not a major procedure, but in this case, 7 weeks post-op, I still have greenish yellow skin ---Slicing into a person's eye! How appalling! It has taken everything in my emotional capacmy goal is to help others. So, ---I would prefer that you to promise me that you will never again do cheek augmentation slicing the face up, as you did me, but rather through the mouth, as is standard, safe practice where there is no risk of mutilation. Please send me an email back in agreement by Sunday, December 11, 2022. I will accept your email promise. Otherwise, I go public with this. If you really had a heart, you would refund my $_____ so that I can use it toward the remedial surgery--- the airfare, accommodations and caregiver fees alone will cost me a bit. However, I'm not counting on it. I await your promise to go through the mouth so we can put this behind us. read more
