Dr Sowa and her staff are very gifted with dogs: very gentle, kind, patient, and loving. My dog gets acupuncture and laser therapy. Dr Sowa has a method for inserting the needles that doesn't scare or startle my dog. Overall its a pleasant experience for her and she actually looks forward to seeing Dr Sowa and her staff. Dr Sowa is highly knowledgeable, proficient, and skilled. My only complaint is that Pawlouse is open 3 days per week instead of 4 or 5, and they are more expensive than other holistic/naturopathic/rehab vets, but the additional cost is worth every penny. In this instance, you get what you pay for. I am so happy with the care Pawlouse provides, I'm strongly considering relocating to the Spokane area for the remainder of my dog's life. The type and quality of this vet care isn't available on the west side of Washington state.

Somehow it had healed but was not straight enough to allow her knee cap to track correctly. We scheduled a visit ar paw Palouse to start therapy shortly after surgery. So in order to make an appointment you must put down a 275.00 deposit to secure visit. We did this but thought it was a little strange. During our appointment the veterinarian went over plans A and plan B with us . Plan A was around 6,500 total for 9 weeks of treatment. Plan B was a little less . The tens unit was 600 alone ! We were given the 2 plans and expected to decide and make a decision that day but the prices were so high I needed to think on it . After talking with the vet they lead me to the front desk . I told them I would call next day with my plan choice . I assumed they were going to refund the 275 dollars so I could apply that to the plan I choose for willow , when I asked this she cut me off being very rude saying "no no , it's 275 for a consultation and you just did that" as if she was tired of having to telll everyone. Next morning I called them , there was no answer so I left a voicemail asking to tweak the plan a little due to financial reasons. No call back ! Next day , I left same voicemail, no response. Wife tried calling a left a voicemail with same result. So 4 voicemails were left with no reply . It's very clear to me now that we had been taken advantage of . The scam is this , make you feel like you are getting top notch care for your suffering pet . Then display these ungodly fees but then make you feel like your pet isn't worth spending 6500 dollars on . If the customer doesn't sign the dotted line on site ,keep their 275 and blow them off! . It's very quick money for 1/2 Hr work . FYI - no other rehabs I called wants a non refundable "deposit". Steer clear everyone!
