I hurt my lower back about six weeks ago, and was in an excruciating amount of pain for almost a week before I decided to find a chiropractor. I chose the health within because of their convenient location and office hours. They were able to see me the same day, and after a new patient exam and some x-rays, we set me up with a treatment plan that includes massage therapy to get me feeling better. I went three times a week for the first few weeks, and felt markedly better in a short amount of time. Both doctors have a gentle but efficient touch, and they use multiple forms of manipulation to get the best results. I'm going twice a week now, and will taper back to once a week and then to a couple times a month, to maintain my body at optimal health. I highly recommend this office. read more

I went there twice to have them check into my insurance coverage and the young girl at the front desk was very nice. However the girl that takes care of the insurance part was very unprofessional and rude. When your getting paid for a job, you need to do it. I won't be going there. read more

I have had lower back pain throughout the last 10 years and have been to many chiropractors. We recently moved to Post Falls during the Coronavirus shut down and as luck would have it, my back completely gave out. I called and Marla answered and was so friendly and empathetic to my condition. I was given an appoint that morning. Dr Cody Smith saw me and took Xrays and made an appointment for the next morning. Dr Grothman saw me and presented a very thoughtful treatment plan and costs and options were given to me. The treatment I received from Dr Smith was so well done and I walked out feeling much better. I have signed up for one of their programs and look forward to a healthy back that doesn't pop out so easily! This was the best massage I've ever had (and I've had many). My therapist was Michael, who used the best blend of pressure points and massage. I have rheumatoid arthritis so he even gave me some pointers and exercises to help with the pain in my feet. I am waking up this morning pain free. I began treatment 2 years ago for tension headaches and lower back pain. I was headache free after about 3-4 treatments. Lower back pain began to slowly subside over time and within 6 weeks I was all fixed up. Both doctors are awesome! Love that I can drop in and appointments are always available. This office offers massage therapy and takes insurance. I routinely have massages, and can't rave enough about how fabulous I feel when I leave. Dr. Smith and Dr. Grothman are fantastic! Being that I am new to the area, I was worried about finding a chiropractor and struggled with the idea of a new practitioner. Trying not to compare, but understanding that every practitioner is different I still had a wish list of treatment manor. Dr. Smith meets/exceeds my expectations and I am very happy to now have a home base Chiro. If you are looking for a particular kind of Chiro treatment where the practitioner is gentle/precise and intuitive then this is your place! At Health within, you don't feel like another patient on the table. You truly can relax and feel good knowing that your practitioner will take the time to assess your body and treat it accordingly. Succinctly dissatisfied with front desk and their phone reception. I've been anywhere from hung up on to not being asked why I was cancelling an adjustment appointment. The warmth, professional, patience factor is missing and I cringe whenever I have to call. I recommend Carla, the massage therapist, the only one there out of just two who is caring and centered. Haven't seen Dr. Tim. My one star is for the ouch factor per at least one receptionist, and I may go to another massage membership provider. read more
