This vet clinic shipped semen in a USED disposable equitainer (labeled for one use only) to our…read moreequine repro facility- upon arrival, the contents were over 60 degrees (way too hot for cooled shipped semen) and the freezer pack enclosed was thawed; needless to say the semen was of very poor quality, it was a holiday weekend and there was not an option for another shipment in time for the mare to ovulate. Obviously the mare did not conceive. When we called them to inform them of the poor quality of the shipment, they stated that once the shipment leaves them it is out of their hands, and that they reuse disposable equitainers all the time!! Our repro facility informed us that they received a shipment the same day on the SAME truck from a similar location in a blue equitainer and the contents were in excellent condition. Very unethical, unprofessional, and CHEAP. Go elsewhere to have your semen shipped, do not waste your time or money here!!

I really wish I would have listened to my friends who have been here and read all the terrible…read morereviews before I brought my dog in here. It was a terrible experience and ridiculously expensive on top of that. Short version: My dog had an obvious ear infection and AFTER he was put under, the vet came out and surprised me a $2,500 bill and said my dog would have to come back again to be fully cured because the antibiotics they were prescribing him that day likely would not work. The vet was rude as hell, zero compassion or empathy and kept pushing me for more money and tests, all for an ear infection. I paid my bill for the services rendered and I took my dog to another vet, who was amazing and came in at about a 1/4 of the cost, even if I had the tests done there. I decided to switch my dog to this vet, who then called Deer Park Animal Med Center to get my dog's records and tests sent over. I then received a text and an email from the original vet telling me that because I switched vets they would never treat my dog again and they even canceled my dog's boarding we had scheduled a few months ago for a upcoming family trip. This vet is hyper emotional, reactionary and over charges and he retaliated by canceling my dog's boarding, which honestly I would have done anyways. Never, ever bring your animals here. Read all the one star reviews and look for his snarky responses. For clarity, this is the vet office on HWY 395, up against the round about, right before McDonalds. My dog is now doing great under the care of a new vet, we rebooked his boarding at a new and cleaner boarding facility for less money and I will never return to this miserable excuse of a business. My friends and all the 1 star reviews were spot on.

Lucy had…read morebeen in the shelter for several months when we adopted her at a little over a year old and we don't know much about her background. She is such a sweet girl with my husband and I but becomes aggressive, anxious and highly excitable in new situations. Lunging when on the leash around other dogs and barking uncontrollably when new people come to our house were 2 of the biggest problems we knew we needed help with. Lisa was recommended to us by another trainer as an expert on training dogs with behaviors such as Lucy's. We were not at all familiar with over reactive dogs but Lisa right away upon introduction was able to assess and offer positive guidance on how we can help Lucy. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and experienced but she has a calm manner that is very reassuring. Almost immediately with her specialized help we noticed improvement in certain areas. We like the individual attention and appreciate the small class size. The lessons are broken down into a manageable size and not overwhelming. Also the training booklet includes lots of tips and examples and has been very helpful to use at home while working with Lucy. Lisa is not only wonderful with dogs but with pet parents too! My husband and I both feel that her positive feed back and support in developing a long range plan have helped us understand the steps we need to take for the best outcome. We like that Lisa can see possibilities and sees the good qualities in Lucy just as we do. We don't dread taking Lucy to class but now look forward to it and so does Lucy! We definitely would recommend Northern Tails Dog Training and Lisa Lucas. Our Lucy is a work in progress we know but those few classes with Lisa have already made a world of difference in our lives with Lucy. Thank you Lisa!
