The following review is for the medical spa only: I took advantage of a great Groupon offer- $99 for a signature facial lasting "up to an hour" and a free Clarisonic Mia. So I called, intending to use this as a bday present for myself, but they were booked solid for two weeks. I was eager so I asked if I needed to arrive early or anything and she said no, arrive at your appointment time. I figured this place must be pretty sweet if they're so booked up. Well, the day of my appt finally comes but I never received a "reminder" call the day before, so I called just to be safe. Sure enough, my appt was set and ready to go (again, no mention to be there early). I leave a little early anyways and get lost trying to find the building. I call and ask, "Are you in the Providence building?" The receptionist corrects me with, "We're in the 5th and brown building." O...kay, so the numerous, huge Providence signs all over the building are just for fun? Whatever. I eventually find it with very little help from the receptionist. I arrive about 5 minutes late for my appt time. :( The receptionist then proceeds to give me about 5 or 6 in-depth medical forms to fill out. Are you SERIOUS? I even ask her if this was necessary being that I'm only receiving a facial and using the Groupon. She just gave me a blank stare and couldn't understand what I was talking about. So, I quickly get through the paperwork, irritated as hell and wondering WHY she didn't ask me to arrive early. After about 5-7 mins I finish and then wait about another 4-5 mins, putting me at 15 minutes past my appt time. (I was also the only person in the waiting room.) I finally get called back to receive my facial and it's basically an exfoliation with the Clarisonic Mia, toner, mask, warm towels and moisturizer; something I could have easily have done at home. Also, the room was so loud that I could literally hear the street traffic and the receptionist's conversations. And to top it all off, the obviously ill esthetician was trying to mask a cold with cough drops and muffled wheezes. Eventually this pathetic facial comes to an abrupt end after 30 minutes.. so apparently "up to an hour" actually means 30 minutes. Granted, I was behind 15 mins, but that would only equal a 45 min facial (aka the equivalent of their "express" facial)! That's just pathetic. The *only* redeeming factor was that I went home with a "free" Clarisonic Mia. Whew, glad that's over! read more

I had a great experience at the new Werschler Aesthetics today! Yelp hasn't updated the address yet, but the new building is located at 324 S. Sherman in Spokane which is much easier to find than the old building on 5th. And it is gorgeous inside! I absolutely love how it looks!! Be sure to show up a few minutes early to fill out paperwork if you are a first timer. I booked a facial with Emily today and she did not dissapoint! I had the pumpkin spice facial and my skin feels amazing! I wish it would stay this soft forever!! Emily did a great job today. She made sure to walk me through each step as she was applying different creams, scubs, and cleaners to my face. She was constantly checking in to make sure that I was comfortable and than nothing was causing discomfort. If something had been uncomfortable I would have felt no hesitation to let her know. I also really appreciated that Emily didn't pressure me to buy any of the products used. She politely asked if I was interested in anything and when I said "no" she dropped it and thanked me for coming in. The only thing I wish was different is the music. At one point during my facial "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift came on...talk about distracting. I think soft music without words would have better fit the mood. If you are looking for a nice gift for yourself or a loved one I would definitely book a facial with Emily. I was very relaxed after everything was done, and like I said my face feels absolutely amazing! read more

I paid for services in advance thinking that I would be working in September after we got to Phase 3. When I realized that we were in Phase 2 indefinitely, I tried to get a refund . They have ignored calls, emails and even letters from Care Credit disputing the roughly $850 in charges. I even left a message with a receptionist back in June or July but they absolutely refuse to respond or refund. My appointment was supposed to be a few days ago and nobody called to confirm the appointment because they know I'm trying to get my money back. And even though they know this, they will not, under any circumstances, respond to me or my credit card company. They have ignored the request for months! I needed to use Care Credit to pay for my dog to have surgery and I didn't have the available credit because of these people so I had to scramble to make payment arrangements! This place is run by unprofessional crooks. Go to Valley Dermatology. They were always good to me and they did a fantastic job. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE USING WERSCHLER AESTHETICS: I spent $500.00 on Botox that lasted four weeks. When I returned to Werschler I pointed this out to Pam. She said,"they had several woman complain and it appears the manufacture change its ingredience." She also told me I should try Dysport (excuse my spelling). So, for another $500.00, I tried it. That lasted much longer. I was still mad about the Botox and the cost, so, I spoke with a neurologist that uses Botox for migraines. He said he had not heard that the manufacturer had change its formula and it was his opinion that it was the same Botox he had always used. I remember Pam mentioned they add lidocaine to the Botox so the injection does not hurt. My opinion, we were paying Botox prices for lydocaine! I won't go back and it was a rotten thing to do. read more

Trying to book a "one stop shopping" experience is impossible. The office will not schedule for a skin check and cosmetic consultation for the same visit. This is obviously a tactic to charge more money for more visits. Inconveniencing patients by requiring them to take time for two separate days to accomplish what could be done in one visit is a poor business model. I will not be using this spa, office or physician. read more

I've been with them since 1999, following them through three different locations. I don't go in very three months or six months, but when the mood strikes me. They never pressure me, always answer my questions and leave me satisfied that I need never go anywhere else--ever. I was diagnosed with a basal carcinoma and was told that the MOHS procedure would be the best route for removal. A week prior to my surgery, I called to ask for an approximate cost of the procedure. I was quoted $1600. When they "stitched me up" (as the doctor performing that portion of the surgery explained) he did not explain this required the movement of tissue. This "stitch up" COST MORE than the MOHS surgery. I would have just let the wound heal naturally rather than pay $3000 total. read more
