I'm taking the time to write this out because the people at Shape deserve it! I just got a breast augmentation done and the results are wonderful! Better than I expected. I'm 2 days post op and everything is going smoothly so far. I saw some reviews from other people are very wrong and cruel to some of the people at Shape. I saw someone was being rude about Rose. When I saw her, I said she looks amazing! Because she does. The person who put her down is clearly insecure and saying whatever she can to put her down. Rose is beautiful and was nothing but helpful and kind to me! All of the girls are Shape have been so so helpful! Dr Lundeby is friendly and kind and informative. He did a spectacular job! Run! You will get what you pay for unfortunately. I had a lower face lift. When I went to get stitches out at one week, it was very lackadaisical & sloppy. The nurse left stitches in which had to be taken out by my provider. After calling Shape office, it was stated that the bump in the bottom of my jaw was still healing and to call in one year for the healing to be complete. Guess what, even more stitches were left in in other layers. They offered to remove them for another fee! Not!! Run. They do not care. Double check the certification of the physician...it will cost more to get things repaired :( read more

Worst decision I've ever done to get lift & implant. I wanted an implant because I didn't have much lose skin, the doctor talked me into a lift as well so I don't look "saggy" 1 year later they were saggier then before with no cleavage to expose because my nipple were such odd shaped and high. He gave me a revision. 6 months later. The same thing. But SAGGIER. They are so much more embarrassing and atrocious then before. Now I get saggier boobs, some volume, & nasty unwanted scars I never wanted in the first place and 9 thousand dollars in the garbage. I cry all the time because of this. First off, if I could leave 0 stars, I definitely would. In October of 2021, I let Dr.Lundeby perform a breast lift/reduction. The day after surgery, we noticed my right areola was almost black in color. I called the nurse, who told me that the breast had more bruising then then other. Fast forward 3 weeks, nothing is healing properly, stitches are completely open on right breast, and I obviously have necrotic tissue of the right breast. He reassured me that he could "fix" it. I decided to seek a wound care specialist instead. My breast took 4 1/2 months to heal. I had to go into the wound care specialist once a week and have my dead breast tissues cut off. Dr Lundeby kept saying he would need to stitch my breast back together after all my stitches completely opened. Low and behold, I had an infection! Could you imagine if I would've trusted him and allowed him to stitch my breast up? Infection, seroma, abcess these are all the issues I had to deal with. It's been about a year and a half since this horrific experience. My breast is completely mangled, and I'm missing most of my nipple. The pain from horrible scar tissue is unbearable at times. My right breast is significantly smaller than my left breast. It's embarrassing that I paid $7,400 for my body to look like this. Please do your research before utilizing this facility. Although I have never met w/ this provider, I did attempt to set an appointment with lots of red flags that prompted my cancellation of the appointment. Also, reviewing others' writings here, that he is not board certified, and the provider's actual request of another patient to refrain from posting a review, led me to immediately about face! The beauty of online reviews, as this one,is that service providers are frightened by negative reviews as the customers' inputs are becoming a good source of information for other consumers and can hurt those providers financially who fail to provide honorable services. This fear of the providers may help to quell the inadequate treatment, especially in the medical field. Keep those reviews coming! read more

Lundaby cares more about money than patient safety. He did a BBL on my friend, a woman who had a long history of IV drug use, Endocarditis, COPD, blood clots and other health problems. Less than 24 hours her whole face was swollen, and was told it was normal because she was on her stomach (I do have photos but out of respect for the family and for her I will not post them) 24 hours after that, she was found dead. Lundaby did not insert any drainage tubes, it's my understanding that he did not use cannulas, no pain medication for a VERY invasive surgery, he was just plain negligent all around. Is NOT board certified, and I am appalled that he asks others to remove their negative reviews! Please go anywhere except this butcher shop. read more

I believe that Dr. Lundaby is responsible for my friends death. She went in for a BBL and less than 48 hours later, I found her dead in her bed. She shouldn't have even been a candidate, in my opinion, for such an invasive surgery with her health problems and history. He gave her no medication for pain and he put no drainage tubes in after the surgery. I posted a review in July when this happened and he threatened me with legal action if I didn't take it down. If you care about your body and dignity don't go here, I tried to make my complaint formal and professional by calling shape but that complaint fell on deaf ears(mrs lundeby) ..so here I am warning others so you don't have to go through the same thing. I've had two consultations with shape in the last year and they were both horrible. But the second one was what did it. They put me in a room where the main light had gone out. I was literally sitting in the dark. the dr even commented If the light was working he could see better. So that right there let me know they didn't care about my problems they just were hoping I would fall for how great their before and after pictures were...which were terrible to say the least. I left feeling worse about myself than before I got there. The female staff member in my consolation , not the doctor took it upon herself to comment about my weight during the appointment which was humiliating , and during my formal complaint where I talked to her on the phone she stated "not every experience at shape will be a good one" um shouldn't your main priority be to make sure everyone has an amazing experience!?!? I was astounded she even said that. she's also related to dr lundeby, I found that out after I looked at their website and realized they have the same last name so his wife is his main nurse making the environment biased and creepy , I wouldn't have had her in the room had I known she was his wife for one she showed me her own before and afters that HER husband did of course her results were good it's his damn wife , I felt completely creeped out after I learned they were married, because they played it off like they were co-workers and I got naked in front of them, I'm not trying to have your wife judge my body and make her own comment and babysit over you at the same time because she's insecure so she drives patients away. And during my complaint on the phone which took me months to work up the courage to call she just argued with me and insisted she did everything to fix the light...she should have asked me if I wanted to be seen in a dark room I would have said no. They did not care about me so they probably won't care about you. ***Dr. lundeby is not a board certified plastic surgeon..he is only a general surgeon, do not see this man for any cosmetic procedures, a 75 Year old blind dog could do better work than this alleged surgeon, unless you want to end up botched, then he's your guy to fillet you like a fish and not give a damn!! Do your research and find a reputable plastic surgeon with a real medical staff not his wife and friends working for him, I would hate to read anymore horror stories about this place or worse a death . Pay attention to the fact that Dr. Lundeby is not a plastic surgeon- he is a cosmetic surgeon. His work is sub par and seems more interested in making a buck than doing what is best for the patient. The scarring from his work has been thousands more dollars in trying to correct than the procedure itself which was expensive. I have never known anyone that is happy with the place and have known plenty of people that are extremely unhappy. I did go back to the office and he agreed that it looked bad and I thought about having them redo their work but decided it wasn't worth the risk. I have been getting Botox from Shape for several years now and am very pleased. I usually only need it every 5 months or so, and the gal in the Spokane office that does it is terrific! It is really affordable and they do a great job. I also got filler in my cheeks, I believe Juviderm XTC, and I love the look of it. I did buy 2 syringes of Kybella and was not a fan after the first syringe, so they credited my account for the second syringe and so I could get Botox instead. I cannot speak of any surgical enhancements, as I hear they are not board certified and I went to Dr. Oliva for my BA and TT, but I am pleased with the injectables. I will be choosing Shape Cosmetic for my next surgery. I have never been treated with so much compassion by a surgeon and Shape Cosmetics really took the time to address my concerns. OMG, Dr. Lundeby has changed my life forever! I had a lower body lift, Fleur de Lis tummy tuck, extended arm lift and breast lift. After losing over 100lbs I had a lot of skin to remove and he did it beautifully. Not only is he a wizard in the OR, but he's genuine and kind and no nonsense all at the same time. He's not going to lie and tell you that everything will be perfect but he gives a very clear and exciting picture of the expected outcome and it was exactly as he said it should be. Everyone I encountered on the phone and in person were professional and helpful and just plain great. If I could give less than one star I would. Some girl with very little medical training but a very large set of pearls had me get completely naked in her office with an open gown so she could try her hardest to act like a Dr and give a completely non-medical assessment. It was the most awkward thing ever, and I have dealt with three other plastic surgeons, two in Idaho and one at OHSU; no complaints with them. She didn't have any medical attire on or even a badge identifying who she was. She was wearing a black very, very short dress, pearls, an overdose of aloof, and a lot of red lipstick. It all felt very put-on and fake. I was waiting for the camera to come out saying it was a spoof. read more

BEWARE! I went in for a consultation. The first thing I noticed was the distorted plastic staff. Forget the before and after pictures. Look at the staff and their oddly shaped over inflated lips etc. You'll have plenty of time to check it out because when they call you into an office, it's not to see the doctor right away. First you spend 15 minutes with Rose, the rudest, most antagonistic, condescending bimbo I've met in a long time. She talks non-stop so you have plenty of time to stare at the really unshapely lip filler and pray she gets her chest off the desk and back into her shirt before things get any more out of hand. She is a "consultant" and admits to no medical training whatsoever yet she recommends additional medical procedures before you even see a doctor. She also advises that the doctor will write orders for lab work saying they are medically necessary so you can try to get your insurance to reimburse even if you're having an elective procedure that isn't covered by insurance. It's practices like that, that keep our insurance premiums so high in this country. When the doctor finally came in, he brought Rose back with him. I stated I had some personal medical issues to discuss and wasn't comfortable doing so with staff present if they aren't medical staff. The doctor said he would not meet with a female patient without a chaperone. Well doctor, that's your issue not mine. And if you feel more comfortable with a chaperone you should spring for a nurse. I didn't want to proceed with discussing sensitive medical issues in front of Rose so the consultation ended abruptly. The only conversation with the doctor was a lecture about smoking and advice he would be lecturing me several more times in the future. Guess what, doctor, you won't be! The chart (that the doctor didn't read but the bimbo did) stated I was quitting. And I'm an adult. And I wanted to discuss the procedure I went in for in an appropriate medical setting with a polite competent professional. I didn't need her insults or his lecture but based on the appearance of the staff, I'm glad that it went down this way. I dodged a bullet today because it would have been worse if I ended up looking like his staff! read more

I got my lips done there twice and got no result. I called the nurse who has done that and she said its cuz my lips r too small and I will need more injections, I got an expensive one after and 2 weeks later when the swelling got down I noticed the lumps in my lips, size was the same as before the injection but my mouth is crooked now, as a result- more than thousand dollars on that useless thing and the person who never cared about that and who is not even a doctor, they will never take your complaints, they will never try to fix anything or help with something THEY did wrong. I started by giving Shape a one star review for lip injections that failed to last longer than a few months (less than 3 months). Admittedly a one star review for this reason was a bit harsh. The owner/manager responded and asked me to come speak with them about this, which I did. I also took this opportunity to get a consultation for liposuction and coolsculpting. I must say I have been an injections customer for over two years and have been in about 4-5 times for botox and fillers at Shape. I have always had a good experience with customer service and the office is nice/comfortable. I have never had a surgical operation at this business. I have had an operation (breast aug) with another doctor, whom I love in Seattle. I opted to have a lipo consult here due to timing needed to get the operation and recover, which I couldn't accomplish with my beloved plastic surgeon that I trust. So, I go in for the consultation and they decide not to mention my one star review until the end of my consult. We had a brief discussion about this review and I agreed that one star was a bit harsh and that review had nothing to do with the surgeon himself. This one star review was due to the product failing to meet the expectations that were outlined by the injectionist. However, my consultation ended with an estimate for the work to be preformed and a request from Dr. Lundaby that if he does surgery on me he wants me to sign a waiver removing my ability to leave reviews on him in the future. Hmmm, this is HIGHLY concerning! I had already agreed that my review was a bit harsh and had already told him that I would elaborate on the specifics of that review. But now.....he is asking me to pay over 12k for 5 areas of liposuction and sign away my ability to speak about my experience and in turn I give him a scalpel while I am completely unconscious and he has a grudge against me.....NO!!! This consultation solidified my impression about Shape as an establishment. I have had a consultation in the past at Shape in which the doctor rubbed me the wrong way, but now he is asking me to sign a gag order and allow him to do what he wants to me under anesthesia. I do think that Carrie is very kind and she works hard to be relatable and provide customer service. The establishment is clean/neat, the front desk ladies are very nice and they always are aware enough of my confidentiality to speak quietly about my services. But I am not impressed with the doctor himself. Like I said, I have never had an operation here but honestly, I am so glad I haven't. I have heard bad things about this place but I wanted to form my own opinion. I have read bad reviews about this place but always wanted to believe this is just another bitter person trying to be a jerk. I am not trying to be a jerk, so I will give them the 3 stars that they asked me to change my review to. I think you can understand why I gave three stars considering I have had some good experiences here. But the reduced stars can be accredited to the doctor being patronizing, overpriced procedures and poor results from the fillers I got. I must also mention I had a facial here at one point and paid extra for extractions ($75) and upon completion of the facial she told me I didn't really need extractions and had only done like two. My assumption was that I wouldn't be charged for that extraction (since she said I didn't need it), but I was charged. I have also been quoted for a breast augmentation (my first consultation) and that was highly overpriced. I ended up getting the same proposed implants with the same procedure for almost 3k less than Shape quoted me. This time they are proposing 5k for the first area of lipo (mind you that includes both thighs) and an additional $3100 for each additional area. My surgeon (he is a nationally awarded surgeon) in Seattle, Dr Sajan, only charges $2295 for the first area and $1255 for each additional area (but charges per thigh). But this is still cheaper than Shape by over $700. I was told they would adjust my surgery for the failed lip injection but I am reluctant to do business here. 2 stars are more appropriate for how this website describes them. I have been here to shape a few times for Botox and it always last 4-5 months. This time I got the same amount as times before and it's gone in less then 2 months. They have always filled the syringe in the room. This time it was filled out of room. I really fill my injections were diluted down. I am very disappointed I wasted over $300. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!‼‼ My experience with him and his staff was like in a horror movie!!! He permanently distorted my beautiful body completely and been beyond heartless about it..!!! And the worst part, he DID NOT disclose any truthful information about my procedure and done permanent injuries to my body without my permission (dissected and divided my major pec muscles on both of my breast) I would never know of this if I wouldn't of had those chemical bags removed due to severe none stop pain!!! I can only imagine the number of people who's muscles were also dissected and divided by him that they are not even aware off.. I'm not sure how in the world this guy even got his plastic doctors license??? Also, keep in mind that most of his staff are related to him. It's an absolutely dangers place to go to not just for the fact that he harms many women's bodies, but also I truly never seen a "Dr." who's in a big desperate of MONEY and completely careless about patients!!!
