My last service had issues that warranted a correction, my stylist was more than happy to go ahead and make the necessary corrections to my hair. Unfortunately the correction she made faded within two weeks time. I called to see if I could come in and have her look at my hair and see why it faded so quickly and what we could do to make a more permanent solution to the corrections she made. The owner reached out to me Instead. I was told I was aggressive. She didn't like my tone and when I explained to her that was my personality I have a sharp tone I'm also very direct, but by no means was I disrespectful. I'm just a to the point kind of gal. The service I received was garbage. The work that was done was lazy and it was giving Great Clips quality. I'm sorry those facts hurt your feelings, but charging someone over $300 you'd expect from a "high-end salon" better service. I was cut off, my personality and character were criticized, I was judged, and then I was told that she is cutting all ties and I'm not allowed to come back to her salon. She then graciously wanted to throw in she'll refund me. In 2026 people have problems paying rent, getting quality medical policies, and feeding their child, luxuries like hair and nails are not something that women are prioritizing anymore. Lindsay (Owner) if you see this message, I hope it humbles you because the clients that grace you with their presence and utilize your services are what keep your business afloat. You just took a 4+ year client away from a senior stylist now I'm sure my $300 every three months isn't going to damage her pocketbook, but have enough transactions like that and it will. Kayla got me right in within a couple days and she did an amazing job! She did a really cute perm with two different size rods and alternating directions in order to make it look natural and cut it to a pixie style exactly how I wanted. In fact, my results were the complete opposite of what I was promised. Instead of reducing my hair growth, it seemed to stimulate it. The hair grew back thicker, coarser, and in some areas even appeared to grow in doubles. When I expressed my concerns, I was repeatedly told that I simply needed more treatments. After investing thousands of dollars with no results, that explanation was incredibly disappointing. At some point, there should be honest conversations about whether the treatment is actually working instead of continuing to recommend additional sessions. Beyond my experience with the laser treatments, I also felt the overall quality of the salon fell short of the image it tries to present. The level of professionalism, service, and expertise did not meet my expectations. If you're considering medical aesthetic treatments, I personally had a much better experience at Crafted Beauty. Their staff has been far more knowledgeable, professional, and attentive, and the overall atmosphere reflects a much higher standard of care. This was an expensive lesson, and I hope my experience helps others make an informed decision before investing their money.
