It weighs 850 pounds.) from my home. Mind you, I paid $950 to move this bed into my home from my garage. They had no clue how to move it. They said they watched a video on how to move it before they showed up. They didn't bother to take the mattress off to make it easier. Even after I showed them a video of HOW IT WAS MOVED IN!!!! I even gave the name of the company who moved it in. They chose to go CHEAPER!! They dropped the bed in my kitchen. I knew they had to have damaged it. THEY DID!!! One of the rails was damaged. REMEMBER THERE ARE ELECTRONICS IN EACH RAIL. They had taken a board off the door casing in the room they moved it out of. They bent the heads of the finishing nails when they put it back. They were in a hurry to leave. Instead of fixing it right then and there, they said (Joseph Robinson) would come back and fix it. He gave me several dates that he would come (May 2nd, May 9th, May 18th, May 19th and May 21st) but never showed then ghosted me!!!! My parents had another move already scheduled with them different gentlemen showed up this time thank goodness but before they even started moving they asked for their tip! I've tried to contact the office several times especially about the first gentleman's behavior cuz it was almost abusive and nobody answers and you cannot get a hold of anyone. The three men today said that the company tells them to ask for the tip In the beginning and my parents did buy them lunch as well and I was going to let it go but this is the second horrible experience in the first one the man was actually verbally abusive to a degree where I had to actually stick up for myself and yell. If they did a good job it might be worth it but I'm not sure that any of them actually are experienced in this I've had several moves myself and have never witnessed people dropping furniture like this or asking for a tip or being rude. It was a gamble as we had not heard much of this company and it was literally everything she owned for school except what was in her carry-on suitcase. We returned in September and found everything intact and well cared for. The crews (both pick up and drop off) were polite, professional, super-hard-working and very accommodating. They have this college storage field down to a science! We were in touch with management (Andrew) over a question about storage and payment and he was incredibly professional!
