Had a bad experience with Harbor Freight today.  Purchased 2 motorcycle chocks in Urbana, IL on Jan…read more25, 2017.  I needed to transport 2 motorcycles, one larger than the other.  The first chock I installed would not work on the larger bike so I used it for the smaller.  I then had to purchase a different chock for the larger bike.  A couple of weeks later I am back in Virginia and want to return the unopened 2nd chock for store credit at the Christiansburg Harbor Freight store (store number 625).  I went through numerous conversations with the two stores (Christiansburg and Urbana).  In the end, even though I have the record of the purchase on my credit card and the box is unopened, the Christiansburg store would not issue me a store credit for a return.  Further, when I look at their website to see if another remedy for this matter exists I found the following statement under returns and exchanges.  Item 8.  The manager has the right to refuse returns of any item, at any time, for any reason.  You would never see this at Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, etc.  Let the buyer beware.  I will never purchase another item from Harbor Freight.
