I learned the hard way not to special order products from a box store. 4 weeks and counting and our siding still isn't in and winter weather is fast approaching. We were told several times that it would be in by the 31st only to find out after the 31st it still hasn't shipped from the warehouse. I just spent a fortune in two renovation projects which most items came from Lowe's. I'm not talking about small jobs. We renovated a storefront to get it open and several rooms in our home. I understand stores have to have a return policy but we had multiple purchases over the time it took to get these jobs done. With any project you have items that you actually didn't need. When I gathered them up after we were close to finishing and knew we didn't need certain things I took them back. To my surprise after they had told me just bring back anything you don't need they failed to tell me there was a time limit. Yes maybe I should have known that but I didn't. So some of the items they took back anyway since they didn't. Hear this Lowe's I have a 20,000 project coming up and I will never step foot in a Lowe's store again. The items I needed to return aren't things that go out of style it was plumbing items and other items that you sell have sold and will always sale. I will find every mom and pop hardware store I can and get the rest from your competitor. Perhaps you should teach your associates not to talk down to someone who just spent 20,000 dollars with you. The next 20 won't be going to your stores that you can count on. If there was a way to rate you with negative stars I would do it. read more

I just went with my Mom to purchase 4 appliances at Lowe's in Radford. We could not have asked for a better overall experience. Found exactly what we were looking for, and at very reasonable prices. But, the BEST part of the purchase was meeting Tony. He was our sales associate and he simply could not have been more helpful, patient, or personable. Wow, this place is the best hardware store. I've been to maybe a my whole lifetime, 64yrs. There's always somebody helpful around with experience and if they don't have experience, they will go find somebody who does. I got served today by Devin, this young man went way out of his way to help me Get a bunch of two by four by twelve into my cart and then load them in my car, put a red flag one for traffic safety.... the whole 9 yds. Do not waste your money on a Lowes Protection Plan! Our refrigerator quit working on 1/22/23. Two months later and I still do not have a working fridge. I can appreciate that it is difficult to find someone to fix it, but trying to send out the same repair man (who stated he was unable to fix our Fridge the first time) 3 different times, and the lack of communication or attempt at finding a resolution is unacceptable. I know the plans are underwritten and managed by a different company, however your website says "we stand behind our protection plans". Shame on you for selling a product that does not follow through. We will not be purchasing appliances from Lowe's anymore. read more

I have shopped at this Lowe's since I moved to Radford in the summer of 2016. I have spent at least $500 there over many trips. They have a pretty good selection of items. However, I have to comment on the lack of customer service and the subsequent one star added here. I've noticed many employees standing around doing nothing, and lack of interest in helping me find items. I just left the store realizing this is the third time, that when I checked out, the clerk who rang me up did not say "hi", "goodbye", or "thank you for shopping." I find this incredibly rude and unprofessional. I will not be shopping here again, nor will I recommend anyone of my friends or colleagues shop here. read more

Purchased carpet. Love the carpet but the installers butchered the carpet. Installers won't take responsibility. Lowe's offered a small gift card to compensate us. Highly recommend anyone in the area to NOT buy carpet from this Lowes. read more

This Lowes is an example of how a Lowes SHOULD be. I'm from Roanoke and it's unfortunate to say, I wish my Lowes was exactly like this one. The items are labeled, the displays are great and organized, items are in the location they say they will be. The staff is exceptional in every department. The only thing that keeps me shopping in the store on 220 in Roanoke is my sales specialist. Otherwise, I wouldn't put up with the headache of the 220 store. Delivery will be the final test for this store and I'm certain it'll be as good as the rest of the store. read more

Hi I`m Charles R Slate me and my wife have shopped at Lowe`s for 30 years and in the past 3 1/2 years we have had to build a small home in Pulaski Va for her sick dad and her handy cap brother and have done spent out and trying to put some wall cabinets up for them with what we can find, Found one damaged 12x12x30 cabinet at Lowe`s in Wyithville Va the man let us have it for $30.00 and it sold for $88.00 very nice of him, so today in our Lowe`s of Fairlawn. Va there was one of the same but in worse shape marked down to $50.00 I told the young man there about the one in Wyithville and he said that was down to his cost and would not take a lose of any money on it and my reply was sometimes it good to take a little lose on and make it up some were else to keep good paying customers happy but he said he wouldn't take any, It is unreal how much money we have spent at Lowe`s over the years , mower`s tool`s helping other out on small job`s and now this small home was build between Low`s and 84 lumber. co, over the past 3. 1/2 years so I guess our business does not mean a whole lot over the past 30 years, so it must be time to move on to other hardware dealers, will be paying our card off and moving on, P.S a lot of your employers have treated us great over the years, read more

My husband and I had the worst experience last year (2016) trying to buy a fresh Christmas tree from these lazy clowns. I decided to give them another chance this year (2017), but the service and poor attitude was even worse! The employees are lazy, don't want to get out of their chair, don't want to go outside, don't want to help, none of them knew the procedure (can it really be that hard?), they were unorganized and confused. They left us standing there, walking right past us and not saying a word to us. No one would let us know what we were supposed to do to get the tree. We had to go get someone and beg them to please tell us how to get our tree, and they still didn't want anything to do with us! No one would help my husband load the tree, they didn't do a fresh cut, they didn't wrap it, nothing. They stood there and watched my husband load the tree, and he's not a young man either. He had to cut the end off himself at home by hand, while they sat there with power tools that they are too lazy or too incompetent to use.
