Within two months, I had to return the tractor for service/repair because it was literally falling apart! There were engine, transmission and chassis bolts that had worked themselves so loose (if they had ever been tightened) that I could not operate the machine. The service person (not Bud, the owner) laughingly states that the assemblers must've had a bad day when it was put together. Aside from that, the LS tractor has been a pretty good machine. The biggest exception was that the 4-wheel Drive U-bolt failed within the first 300 hours. The owner was unable to obtain a replacement part over a period of three weeks or more. During that time, I had my local tractor mechanic obtain the needed replacement part within two days. Replacing that part fixed the problem with the 4-wheel drive. The finish mower and the bush hog which were sold to me as compatible attachments are the worst examples of engineering and design that you can imagine. Just an example, you have to loosen and almost remove the gear box in order to replace the drive belt on the mower. The belt tension adjuster looks like it was someone's fourth grade project! I have stopped buying parts from Bud since he ripped me for $100 for a set of three mower blades. I now buy the exact blades through Amazon for $39 and change. Ole Bud's a talker, but I might warn you to verify before you buy.

No phone call by that Friday afternoon, so I called them. I was told it would be here by the first of the week and they would call me. In the meantime, grass is growing so I ordered a belt from Amazon which arrived that Sunday. Still no phone call so I called Boone 2 weeks later. My belt had arrived, but they had not called to tell me. Upon pickup, I told the counter person I was never called. He nonchalantly said "that happens"...I observed 2 other workers nearby scrolling on their phones. Frustrating...

Bought a New Holland C332 skid steer from them in 2022 and has been a decent machine up until this…read morepast winter the low oil pressure light started coming on. We checked the oil pressure with a manual gauge and it was only getting 10-13psi of pressure running. Tried a few simple things that didn't change the pressure any so I called Boone Tractor in Salem, Va and they said they would check it out. They called me a few days later and said it was ready. When I got there I started it up same problem , low oil pressure light still on. Their fix was a software update and a new oil switch. Never put a manual gauge to check oil pressure. I took the machine home and had a local guy look at it and found from doing some looking online that other people were having the same problem and it was that New Holland painted the inside of the oil pans and the hardner wasn't correct, which caused the paint to peel off and clog the oil pump. We pulled the motor and that's exactly what we found. Called dealership and at first they seemed like they would help with cost because the machine only had 800 hrs on it but after getting the run around with who to talk to I realized they don't stand behind their products at all. Manager doesn't return phone calls at all. Machine does great now with oil pressure reading 65psi but I'll never buy another New Holland again and if anybody asks about them I'll definitely tell them to stay away.

It was a very tedious process with steps that I feel were unnecessary. They didn't make you feel like a priority as a customer. I realized that they also lied because my receipt said that I declined the warranty. They didn't say anything about the warranty at the time of purchase. The rabbit cages approximately 2ft. By 2ft. (If not smaller) They housed 9 rabbits, they were just laying on-top one another. I understand stores have to have a return policy but we had multiple purchases over the time it took to get these jobs done. With any project you have items that you actually didn't need. When I gathered them up after we were close to finishing and knew we didn't need certain things I took them back. To my surprise after they had told me just bring back anything you don't need they failed to tell me there was a time limit. Yes maybe I should have known that but I didn't. So some of the items they took back anyway since they didn't. Hear this Lowe's I have a 20,000 project coming up and I will never step foot in a Lowe's store again. The items I needed to return aren't things that go out of style it was plumbing items and other items that you sell have sold and will always sale. I will find every mom and pop hardware store I can and get the rest from your competitor. Perhaps you should teach your associates not to talk down to someone who just spent 20,000 dollars with you.
