No phone call by that Friday afternoon, so I called them. I was told it would be here by the first of the week and they would call me. In the meantime, grass is growing so I ordered a belt from Amazon which arrived that Sunday. Still no phone call so I called Boone 2 weeks later. My belt had arrived, but they had not called to tell me. Upon pickup, I told the counter person I was never called. He nonchalantly said "that happens"...I observed 2 other workers nearby scrolling on their phones. Frustrating...

We checked the oil pressure with a manual gauge and it was only getting 10-13psi of pressure running. Tried a few simple things that didn't change the pressure any so I called Boone Tractor in Salem, Va and they said they would check it out. They called me a few days later and said it was ready. When I got there I started it up same problem , low oil pressure light still on. Their fix was a software update and a new oil switch. Never put a manual gauge to check oil pressure. I took the machine home and had a local guy look at it and found from doing some looking online that other people were having the same problem and it was that New Holland painted the inside of the oil pans and the hardner wasn't correct, which caused the paint to peel off and clog the oil pump. We pulled the motor and that's exactly what we found. Called dealership and at first they seemed like they would help with cost because the machine only had 800 hrs on it but after getting the run around with who to talk to I realized they don't stand behind their products at all. Manager doesn't return phone calls at all. Machine does great now with oil pressure reading 65psi but I'll never buy another New Holland again and if anybody asks about them I'll definitely tell them to stay away.

A week before Memorial Day…read more2024, was my last purchase and I paid for home delivery and the store (Tractor Supply) sent the merchandise out on delivery when it was incomplete missing a heavy box of 36 panel clamps and bolts. TSC has given me the run around for the past three months claiming they do not have the missing hardware. The website says there is two more units in stock and the last purchase looks like some inventory that has been stored in the weather for years as the gate was stiff from rust and the tag was faded. There was also forklift damage to the last two units shipped from my local store. I contacted two other stores and the agents tried to sell me another complete poultry pen, and no one at Tractor Supply has attempted to resolve the problem of selling incomplete merchandise which may have safety concerns when not assembled with the proper stamped steel clamps (not provided). I'm really disgusted because I ended up purchasing a dog kennel as alternative housing for my poultry. After a month, this poultry pen was assembled with ZIP TIES because my broiler chickens were outgrowing the pet kennel. I understand the economic conditions today and the store is not replacing merchandise that does not sell. I'm the one who is buying all these poultry pens and I got shafted by employees in a decentralized chain store to meet the sales objectives. If the customer does not matter to management? This customer is buying poultry feed and supplies from other merchants. The same is true with beekeeping equipment, its too expensive from TSC.
