So all of the talk of this being a great product, throw that out the window. I bought it through Chewy.com. They were of no help. Trying to locate "furminator," which is the brand name of their product, I could not find it with any rating entity!!! I then saw the name, simply put as furminator.com. To make a yelp complaint, I had to look further to see that they are listed as spectrum products. Even further research on the Yelp site did I find that it is actually listed as Tetra-Spectrum Brands. Are they hiding behind all of these layers? I think so. After all, there are only THREE reviews for them on Yelp. How can a company of this size only have THREE REVIEWS?!?!?!?!?!?

I think the employees are quite helpful and welcoming in general. The issue I ran into could be a…read moremanagement issue as there was no one to help in either the appliance and blind and decor areas. This was on Saturday late afternoon and I've been walking around there 20-30 minutes and not a single employee to help. I had to find an employee elsewhere to call for help in those departments. Once there, the associates were helpful. Later on at checkout, they made a mistake and did not take the 10% off my appliance purchase. I had to go to Customer Service and wait for over 30 minutes to get this corrected. There was only one person in front of me, but looked like he had a number of internet order issues and the CSR had trouble resolving them. Another CSR came over to assist, however did not know know what to do. Finally another CSR came and was able to credit back the error they had made. Could be another staffing issue, where they should have recognized the delay and called for more help. Anyway, no compensation for wasting all my time due to their error. Coincidentally I had a appliance delivery issue with Lowes and they went out of their way to remedy and compensate. If I had to do it over again, I would have bought from Lowes. Am tempted to cancel my order from Home Depot, but don't want to waste any more time with them. So one star off for the staffing issue and one off for the bad Customer Service experience.

I was just in the area last week and picked $100 worth of toys for the kiddos and, I ain't gonna lie, MYSELF, only to come back a few days later to pick up another $20 worth (again, for myself!). I appreciate Imaginations for being a locally owned and operated business and for carrying the high quality, german-based toy line that you really can't find anywhere else in the area (except for Barnes & Noble). Main, just off campus. This venue is small, but it boasts a LOT of Hokie stuff. Going back to its size - this place is packed on football gamedays, so be ready to squeeze your way through the aisles. Also, since it's downtown, parking isn't readily available. You'll have to park at a nearby garage (or maybe be lucky enough to find street parking) and walk. Emporium's employees are nice. From what I can tell, their staff is mostly adults (i.e, non-students) - I didn't see any students working during my most recent visit. But all the employees I've encountered are friendly, helpful and professional. Their prices are competitive, based on like items (items that I also saw at Rally House), and Emporium boasts products that are bit more exclusive (locally made t-shirts, VT-specific shirts, things of that variety) and unique.
